It basically doesn't matter. Any deck that starts with 4x Burgeoning and 4x Mystic Remora will demolish people assuming that you aggressively mull for Burgeoning. What I will say is that something like Seer's Sundial seems superfluous and the Retreats are marginal at best. Focus on getting on to the board because the primary way that this loses is by doing nothing for too long. If you want a 3 drop lifegain engine consider Courser of Kruphix since it blocks well. Things like that. Kruphix -> Hydra -> Baloths is a solid 5-6-7 curve, that you can keep, so focus on surviving and abusing your insane early-game mana production to get ahead and stay ahead on-board.
Btw people should feel free to post their own brews.
Also if any of the decks need clarification feel free to ask. I'm not a very fancy deckbuilder, most of my strategies are linear, but it's not always obvious to me what people might be missing when I post my decklists.
Sunforger was terrible. The deck has more than enough mana sinks.
Squadron Hawk was "fine" in the games where I didn't draw Lingering Souls but garbage in the ones where I did. I eventually cut them because the package eats up too many cards and I didn't want to keep running Mistveil Plains.
Having access to some "real" Equipment makes the deck significantly better. After all, your gameplan is "play little dudes and turn them sideways."
I stupidly forgot to add a Painful Truths when I first posted the list. Most of my builds have had 1-2. I'll basically always play the first in my 3+ color Black decks.
I love the idea behind the crushing cloudpost deck. Crush of Tentacles and Expropriate look like alot of fun. Besides Vesuva and SDT, are there any other non budget cards that would make the deck better?

In here to report on the fact that I was absolutely destructipated by Selvala's Stampede last night in a Meren EDH deck. That card is utterly, utterly sick, and is getting slammed in my cube as soon as I can grab one (even to the point that I'm dropping Seasons Past for it).
So, here's what happened. 3HG EDH game (yeah, we do crazy things like this). It's Meren, Sliver Overlord and Jori En vs. Kermit, Marath and a second Meren. Things durdle along (because half of us are playing grindy Golgari decks, as you can see), until our Meren opponent resolved the Stampede.
1. All six players get to vote whether we give him a one-off Oath of Druids or a Show and Tell. He's got four cards in his hand, so we as a team decide "How bad can his hand be? Might be a couple of instants or stuff in there". Right? Wrong.
2. He resolves the two Oaths first, and gets Creakwood Liege and Kozilek's Predator. "Okay, big whoop. This is good", we think.
3. He then dumps his hand to reveal Terastodon, Disciple of Bolas, Rune-Scarred Demon and Eternal Witness.
4. We could've lost three permanents and gained three elephants, but he wanted the cards and life, so Terastodon went overboard to the Disciple. He then gets a tutor with the Demon, gets the Stampede back with the Witness, and passes the turn.
5. We pretty much sit on our hands for a turn, because we've been durdling and got nowhere.
6. He untaps with the Stampede and six other cards in his hand. Casts it again. We all give him Oaths this time, and he turns over Skullwinder.
We actually managed to lucksack a win out of that game, but Stampede went seriously close to taking the game away from us.
There are going to be some big, ugly Golgari ramp decks that could abuse the living daylights out of this card. Some Eldrazi Spawn tokens, a few Eternal Witnesses, an everloving toolbox full of finishers...
I agree that Selvala's Stampede is bonkers. Here is the deck I made inspired by Conspiracy 2 and it's designed around abusing Selvala's stampede as much as possible. Basically no creature cost under 6 mana and I vote Wild every time, so I get game breaking value, and the landfall creatures work well with the rest of the deck. It's a little bit boom or bust, but I feel like I found a decent balance between ramp, card draw and lands to make it somewhat consistent with wise Mulligans. Can probably be refined, I havn't played with it much yet, but it gets some explosive victories! We play Vintage legal so I play with a Fastbond as a fifth burgeoning, but it can easily be replaced by another summer bloom or exploration.
Other considerations I'm debating on are Sol ring and primal command for the ability to tutor exactly the creature I want. With Sol ring I feel like this is the only deck ever where I prefer more lands, but I may be very wrong.

I used to have a copy of Academy Ruins in my list to recur expedition maps and finishers.

I was also thinking of putting these 2 together (now that Burgeoning has become affordable), but with a Landfall theme. Perhaps add some Rampaging Baloths, Ulvenwald Hydra, Seer's Sundial, Retreat to Kazandu, Retreat to Coralhelm, Prophet of Kruphix, Yavimaya Elder. I'm not really sure what else would fit in such a deck. Maybe you have some suggestions?
Blinking Gary...
Oh well, never mind. You know I hate him.
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
It basically doesn't matter. Any deck that starts with 4x Burgeoning and 4x Mystic Remora will demolish people assuming that you aggressively mull for Burgeoning. Blinking cards like Gary and Sepulchral Primordial seems utterly absurd to me.

That melee deck looks sweet. Anything you've come across with playtesting? Would you add more of XYZ or replace some things?
I'll be adding Kambal, Consul of Allocation asap cutting Vizkopa Guildmage.
