The vast bulk of my MtG playing experience has been competitive Multiplayer FFAs, and duels (competitive tournament play in Standard, Modern, and Legacy). I have done some casual multiplayer EDH, but not a lot. I am very interested in getting into some competitive multiplayer EDH, and I think that Sultai colors look very appealing. A lot of the folks over on the EDH thread seem to be the casual, flavor, non-Spike sort of players, and that isn't what I'm looking for.
The two Generals that I have been trying to decide on are Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and Tasigur, the Golden Fang. I have been leaning toward Tasigur, but I want to get as much input as possible from folks who have played competitive multiplayer EDH. Seems to me that Sidisi will be built with a much bigger creature package, whereas Tasigur would be more of a spell heavy deck, which is more my style.
What are people's thoughts on these two generals, and which direction would you take this?
Hands down Tasigur. He lends himself reasonably well to all of the OP Blue/Black bull***** combos. Here's my semi-budget Tasigur MuckTide deck that I'm currently slinging (it's based on what I own):
There's obviously a ton of possible combinations but you get the idea. If you want piles that can beat 1 piece of interaction you'll need Pact of Negation. No other card realistically does the trick.
Which have you found to be better, Swan Song, or Dispel? I assume that Swan Song is better, but I may be missing something. I will be subbing one if those out for FoW for sure.

Primary Combos:
Ad Nauseam: Draw an enormous quantity of your deck at EOT in order to untap and combo off the following turn.
Necropotence: Same idea except substantially weaker. You get sculpt powerful hands but this card isn't a "free win" by any means.
Helm of Awakening + Spells + Tendrils of Agony + Remand/Unsubstantiate on Tendrils of Agony into Noxious Revival/Regrowth/Yawgmoth's Will: Drain the table out.
Eldritch Evolution + Tasigur + Bubbling Muck/High Tide: Infinite mana with Palinchron. You can add Deadeye Navigator and/or Phantasmal Image as well but this is the easiest, cheapest way IMO.
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Bubbling Muck + High Tide + Land Untappers: Generate enormous sums of mana to combo off with.
Sample Doomsday piles:
1. Predict, Laboratory Maniac, Gitaxian Probe, Unearth, Street Wraith
2. Gush, Frantic Search, Street Wraith, Laboratory Maniac, Unearth
There's obviously a ton of possible combinations but you get the idea. If you want piles that can beat 1 piece of interaction you'll need Pact of Negation. No other card realistically does the trick.
Secondary Combos:
"Windfalls" + Notion Thief: Ostensibly a game win.
Feel free to add Training Grounds if you want to make the more grindy. I found it to be lackluster in cEDH though.
Boseiju, Who Shelters All is the most important card in the deck against opposing Blue strategies. Resolving Ad Nauseam is a game win and you have ample tutors including Crop Rotation, Expedition Map and Sylvan Scrying.

Song not close. Hitting things like Mystic Remora, Survival of the Fittest, Animate Dead, Necropotence, etc. is way too valuable.
