While not the world's most fantastical walker, Vraska the Unseen will definitely play into the whole no-defenders thing.
I would absolutely, totally run Wild Wild Vess here - she'll tutor for Dub Season, and get a second tutor in at the very least before she croaks. Any more than that, and you're winning as it is. If you read her as "3BB: Two tutors in two turns", she's worth it.
Other than that, the walkers that are consistently fantastic in my cube are Ajani Vengeant, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Garruk Wildspeaker and Xenagos, the Reveler. All four are complete houses. I realise they pretty much spread across all five colours, and you're unlikely to be able to run them all, so whatever colours the deck ends up in, I would strongly consider whatever above matches them. Garruk would have to be a shoe-in, given Dub Season is already green, he'll stick blockers out while you stabilize and ramp you along to boot. Xenagos, and to a lesser extent Sorin, you play for the creature generation - they'll end up producing a swarm if left alone.
Last time I saw this done, it was my group Spike, and he pulled it all off by playing UG - green for Dub Season, blue for scry effects (you know, a bazillion Ponders / Brainstorms / Preordains / Serum Visions) and Twiddles for the four Gilded Lotuses he was running to help drop all of his walkers.
Probably the best way to do a doubling season walker deck. Get doubling season out play jace grab their best card, and another jace for you to do it again. Of course the other walkers make it fun as well what with Tamiyo and kiora giving you that sweet emblem.

I was already planning to run a couple Idyllic Tutors to pull out Doubling Season, so that effect is less needed. I was more thinking about her getting every creature in every graveyard - but I'm with Xyx that slimming the color count is where it's at, so I am pretty locked in Bant right now.
I have been goldfishing with a 1-of Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as my final Jace pull, and that has been fun. I think I'm pretty much set on going that route... It is certainly a little more fragile than the Time Warp route since someone can conceivably get THEIR 1-turn win spell off before I can cash in, but it's hard to beat the fun aspect of just dumping 3+ walkers on the field and going nuts.

Did you read the initial post? I specifically said "Obviously, the first thing I think of is 4x Doubling Season, 4x Jace, Architect of Thought, 1x Time Warp, and then a bunch of ramp, cantrips, Dig Through Time, etc... She is more interested, however, in less of an "all in" approach, and more of a tool box feel that CAN combo off."
I am absolutely very well aware of this deck, but I also specified that I am NOT looking at making an all-in combo deck like the TWOO creation here.

With this in mind, what are some good walkers? Some that come to mind to me are:
Liliana Vess
Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Teferi, Temporal Archmage
Ral Zarek
Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Ajani, Mentor of Heroes
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
etc...
Are there some I am forgetting?
