I really like Mirror Mockery though I concede it has niche use. I feel like any deck that would run it would want to have creatures that compliment its ability so that its not just an odd blue pacifism. Whatever its put on has to have an ability that will trigger and be tough enough to survive attacking. So far I have come up with
Lavinia of the tenth Lets you detain every turn. You obviously sac the token since it will die at end of combat anyway. Kokusho, the evening star Again you sac the copy this way it goes to the graveyard and mirror mockery's exile never happens so that the dead token's ability triggers. Really any Kamigawa dragon works Wingmate Roc Will keep netting you more and more 3/4 flyers. Armada Wurm This is tough since it would require a 3 color deck Prime Speaker Zegana crazy card draw Sharuum the hegemon artifact return. thragtusk Lyev Skyknight detain their only flier for free hits, or if they don't have a flier detain something big. Doesn't have to be a creature either. Shuts down Planeswalkers for example.
Any other thoughts on how to make this card work? I know most people view it a less versatile conjurer's closet/kiki-jiki, Mirror Breaker effect, but I really think this card could be made to work in the right deck.
Right now I'm leaning toward a detain deck since removing blockers/attackers compliments its must attack ability.

I was the guy playing the relentless rats deck back during mirrodin and kamigawa blocks. Yes, cranial extraction was used on me. No, I didn't win much. Yes, I do have a relentless rats edh deck. No, it doesn't win much either...
The only thing that comes to mind is that you can run Heliod's Pilgrim as a cheap 2-for-1 who tutors for your "core card." Otherwise everything that you listed are solid "Clone" targets. Pilgrim isn't insane or anything but I would personally play it in this style of deck. You can even toss in Control Magic or whatever to fetch with them if you want.
What about a Sun Titan deck with Gift of Immortality and Mirror Mockery using Heliod's Pilgrim? Could that be a thing? Think of the value! I realize that post-attackers Mockery recursion isn't bonkers or anything but it's not terrible and there are plenty of other targets to recur.

Feels way too win-more IMO. After all, you can't blink your Enchanted perms (ok, technically you CAN but you don't want to lol) so you literally need everything to be going right in order to extract significant value from a card like that.
