What's wrong with Junk Reanimator if you want a consistent, powerful, "not too fast," etc. deck. There's a lot of play involved, you can play a ton of singletons, it's very good against aggro, all of the win conditions are cheap and effective, etc. I dunno, I just don't see a reason to play a weird wall deck that loses hardcore to boardwipes. Junk Reanimator is like the perfect multiplayer strategy because it's the most resilient, grindy, powerful but ultimately "fair" archetype because it doesn't stop anyone else from playing Magic. They can cast spells against you and attack. It won't do anything but I mean at least people are put under the illusion that they stood a chance in the game.
Obviously you don't need to play 4-ofs so you can go ahead and play Primetime, Sylvan Primordial, Wall of Reverence, etc. too in the deck. Doran is fine at 3. Avacyn is an awesome girl to recur with your Rites. Basically every 6 drop that you listed is awesome. It all works. You can actually play it like a spicy singleton deck because between things like Grisly Salvage and Unburial Rites (when paired with self-mill) you can pick and choose the best creature for the current situation. Until then you just slam Stinkweed Imps and Thragtusks to buy time but I mean it doesn't take very long for the deck to take complete control of the game if it wants.
Yea, I hear you on the reanimator, but I already have one of those with the Angel of Glory's Rise which works fantastic. I don't want to feel like I'm playing the same engine with a different payload. On the other hand, it is very difficult to argue the casting cost of a CMC 6+ bomb from the yard.
As usual, you were on the right path and I needed time to think it over. The engine you suggest is more efficient and more portable. I decided the Angel of Glory's Rise is proven and is way too efficient for my play group. I need to keep the pieces in case I do a random one day to come out swinging. In the mean time, the wall idea is probably too clunky.
I checked out the feedback you gave in the other thread, but I want to super-charge it a bit. I left out the Praetors in favor of exploiting the Angel as much as possible.
Yeah, Prid3 helped me make a Junk Rites deck a few days ago, it turned out great! Not too fast (win rate is right about at 1/numberofplayers) so that my friends with crap decks don't feel bad, but boy howdy does it have inevitability. Stick with Prid3, he knows his stuff!
Yea, bummer about the price of Siege Rhino, I guess I'll see it in about 18 months when it rolls out or sooner if the price drops. It's a beast! (literally)

My typical MP format is 5 total players, star-format. FFA, but you only need to eliminate your 2 non-adjacent opponents to win.

The card is figuratively a beast, I'll concede that point, but a rhino is literally a beast.

For what it's worth, if you can get yourself some, turn 4 Siege Rhino into turn 5 Thragtusk is completely broken.
Yeah I've been testing my Junk deck from the other thread against some of my other decks, and the Rhino is just so strong. Everything about him is broken, and that 5 toughness just makes him feel unstoppable. My control deck just crumbled looking for a second Lightning Bolt to deal with him, my aggro deck lost all tempo and collapsed, and he stonewalled my Lurking Predators deck long enough to find an Unburial Rites to control the game with multiple Ashen Rider triggers.
I got Rhino at $6, but it was the only card over $1 in the deck so that's how I justified the playset. He was just like 50% of the deck's cost alone, but after playtesting, I'm totally ok with that.
Wizards designed a Rhino that, when it gets angry, shoots lighting out of its mouth before trampling its adversaries to death. The card was always going to be inherently bonkers. I mean, have you seen a Thor movie? That guy wrecks face and he's not even a Rhino. Geeeeez.

Yea, so a friend that I arbitrage for sold me his for $3 so I swapped it in for Silklash Spider. I should be trying the deck out in a few weeks at the play group.
Another card that has just been amazing for me in this archetype is Magister of Worth. The way it plays out for me, it ends up being an early wrath with upside, and then late game goes either way ... But YOUR graveyard coming back is so much scarier than everyone else's that you just win anyway.
If you so desire, a Bojuka Bog or two helps hedge against another loaded GY.

Wow! Excellent suggestion! I hadn't even considered that card. Cz also mentioned Ashen Rider in that other thread, so now I'm thinking I need both of these and take some stuff out.
If I swap for 2x Thragtusk, does that seem reasonable? I don't need to gain that much life or have tokens over handling my opponents, right?
It's pretty hard for Thragtusk to be the worst card in your deck. It's not about the life or the body or the token or anything that they accomplish in a vacuum. It's the fact that the card is completely unreasonable as a standalone threat and it beats every form of removal of the book. Spot removal, mass removal, exile, nothing has any significant impact on the card and the multi-body + lifegain elements mean that you'll probably never lose to an aggro deck in your life. This is even the fact that the card still *****s all over Controls deck too because unless its countered there's just absolutely no reasonable way to handle it. Normally that would actually be somewhat of an issue but counters are just so bad in multiplayer (in general) and countering basic blockers is not where anyone wants to be. I know that I can be a pretty boring deckbuilder when it comes to these kinds of cards but at the same time I don't see how someone can blame me for blindly putting 4x Thragtusk in every deck that can reasonably produce a Green mana by turn 5 (hint: it's not very hard). The card is good in every non-combo matchup, it provides lifegain and laughs manically at people trying to employ removal against you. It literally does everything that you could possibly want in a casual, multiplayer setting.
So yeah, +1 for the "Tusk probably shouldn't get shaved" motion.
Yea, good points. I guess I just don't want to be seen as too much of a threat and casting a second Thrag as opposed to keeping an Ashen Rider in my hand seems less threatening.
After running the play tester a few times, 4x Imps does seem a bit like a sticking point. I'm definitely not dropping the Wurm as the meta is creature heavy, and especially tokens and */2 creatures, so that can be a finisher of sorts in my group.
What about SunnyT? Valid targets are the Satyr (meh), the Flickerwhisp (yay), the Imp (situational), and the Eternal Witness (extra resilience). Or do I cut a second Imp or one of the Satyrs? The 22nd land?
Yea, that's a valid point. I'm not counting the Angel's since she is an all-star and the focal point of the deck. I think SunnyT has to go, at least until I lose a game because I can't get Eternal Witness back one last time.
Another option to consider would be to cut the salvages. Wayfinder and Mulch (and Imp) should get you there. You could fit in a couple Restoration Angels that way... And you will be loving life.
Rites a Serenety out with a Thragfather and a couple others, Resto Angel out, get your 3 back in your hand, and you get to exile 3 more! The late game is just disgusting.

Resto Angel can't blink Angels :<. Resto Angel is still very good in the deck though. The vast majority of your threats have very good ETB/LTB triggers.

This deck is so busted with the updates.
Basic list is just a whack of lands, maybe 4 mana dorks (Caryatids are nice), 8-10 2 CMC millers (Satyr Wayfinder > Mulch > Grisly Salvage), some good defensive 4-5 drops (Obstinate Baloth, Thragtusk) and then whatever fat you want with 4x Unburial Rites. Regular creatures work, Angel of Serenity is awesome, Soul of Zendikar + Soul of Innistrad are awesome, the deck is just awesome. At 3 CMC you can play anything from Stinkweed Imp to Necromancer's Assistant to Eternal Witness to Flickerwisp. Or all 4. I love me decks with plenty of singletons. Stinkweed Imp is nice though because if you mill it on turn 2 you can Dredge it back up for turn 3 and that gives you solid defense and mill. Very good card.
