Xenagos is one of the better MP Walkers because he's terrible. None of his abilities are particularly strong in the format so there's a small chance that he'll be ignored altogether. People certainly won't go out of their way and expend resources to remove him but he still should fall to evasive beaters. With respect to building around him, well, that would be foolish. All of his abilities are marginal at best so there's nothing worthwhile to emphasize. I personally see him as a Predatory Advantage substitute moreso than anything else. He just comes down and churns out 2/2 blockers (and eventual Kessig Wolf Run targets). The +1 can obviously be used for ramp on occasion but his ult is so bad that you're usually better off just pumping out tokens and having a "thing" that survives mass removal. I really don't think that he's better than Predatory Advantage and I would never play him myself but I mean I think he'd be at his best in a generic GR ramp deck with scaling threats and powerful fatties. I'd probably run Joraga Treespeaker, Courser of Kruphix/Wood Elves and/or Oracle of Mul Daya/Solemn Simulacrum over the traditional 2 CMC rampers just to make actual use of his +1 to plop out Inferno Titans and Sylvan Primordials. I'd also want to play more cards like Ember Swallower and Arbor Colossus who could put giant surges of mana to use (and who are warm bodies themselves). I could actually see him doing work in a Wildfire style deck with lots of Taurean Maulers and Forgotten Ancients who would survive the blast and live to fuel your other fatties. He'd be another "Than Dynamo" who could always churn out bodies in a pinch. Powering out a turn 4-5 Sylvan Primordial into a turn 5-6 Wildfire wouldn't be bad either. Sure, you might have to lose a mana dork or two in the process but that shouldn't be a big deal. I'd really want the aforementioned Ember Swallower in that style of deck because Monstrocitying one post-Wilfire should just seal the game.

That was kinda my thought too > for the first few turns you use him, you're either putting tokens into play or ramping. (nothing to see here)
walkers generally get attention in my group, especially the Black and Blue ones, so a guy like this with no real threat power has the *sleeper*-element to it.

I'll tell you from experience, the ember swallwer thing works once, then everyone comes after you when they see you drop eiter, so have some kind of protection to keep yourself alive, like maybe Norn's Annex so you can set yourself up.
I've played him in Multiplayer Cube, and he is stonkingly good there. In normal Multiplayer, he'd probably dwindle a little, but his upside is still there.
Play this guy for his first two abilities. If you want to set off something like his ultimate, cast Genesis Wave instead. But the ramp he provides and the critters he spams are worth it. He shines in Cube because he's always sticking a blocker in the way - very hard for people to deal with a continual flood of weenies in a limited environment. In normal Multiplayer, you'd likely still want to be playing black (e.g. Noxious Ghoul, Engineered Plague) to stare him down easily.
As far as building around him goes, a heavy emphasis on tokens is good. The most effective way to use him is to use his +1 as a Gaea's Cradle-type effect to generate a lot of mana, with his second ability being a backup token generator for when you don't have a dump for your mana or enough guys to get much out of it.

Actually, you might be better off building around the rings and throw in a few planeswalkers just for fun. (While you're in the colors you might just as well add Sarkhan Vol to your list.)
Xenagos, the Reveler
The abilities all seem useful, but it requires to be built around.
But I like this card.
Good card for MP or not?
How would you get the best out of it?

That a pretty nasty idea right there, I like it.
Major thanks to Traprootkami for the signature.

And Rings of Brighthearth love any planeswalker.

My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
