But I also want it to be up-to-date, since I haven't really used the latest cards yet (Born of the Gods)
Also, is there a way to make a disgusting (infinite) amount of mana in mono black / colorless? I'm looking for something that's hard to disrupt

My playgroup: four people total.
We use the Legacy B&R list.
My meta consists of combo, control and some aggro / midrange decks.
My group uses proxies, so budget is not an issue. Because of this, things can get out of hand.
Some other suggestions: Pestilence effects are a great way to clear the board while also turning a life advantage into a win. Cuombajj Witches are a great two drop that can be used politically to kill multiple X/1's or X/2's Urborg Syphon Mage is a decent drainer, but he's somewhat obsolete these days with Extort and similar around. Try Crypt Ghast for extort + mana boosts, Servant of Tymaret is a decent blocker who can also semi-extort. Toxic Deluge is a good way to clear the board on the cheap, especially when you'll be gaining bonus life.
In a similar vein, Dismember and Snuff Out are awesome free/cheap removal spells when you have a great life buffer.
Cards like Phyrexian Arena, Promise of Power, Moonlight Bargain, Necropotence (if your group allows it), Necrologia, Night's Whisper, and similar are great ways to stock your hand.
Jinxed Choker is also an interesting card i always wanted to build around. You can protect yourself with Glacial Chasm while lots/infinite mana will kill one opponent. The downside is that, as far as i understand the official multiplayer rulings, the Jinxed Choker will be removed from game if it kills an player because all stuff the player controls but not owns leaves the game when the player leaves the game.
Basically, you regain control of things you used to control.
Now that's awesome, thanks for the explanation! I defintely must build a Jinxed Choker deck
Prepare to be wildly disappointed.
Anyways, infinite mana isn't necessary. Just build a creature-less control deck with a ton of mass removal, 6-8 good draw spells a ton of lands and then a whack of drain. That's it. Infinite combos are just dumb to field in MP anyways since you don't want everyone to start whipping them out. If other people already are, ok, sure, but don't be the first one to start. Still, I mean, it's kind of silly to field a deck that need to gather Glacial Chasm + Eon Hub and Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth or whatever just to win. Your deck is too inconsistent at that point. My basic strategy is to just plain Wrath every other turn while hitting land drops and eventually draining people out.
Underworld Dreams is in there only to slowly poke at my opponents.

You can also use Staff of Domination + Magus of the Coffers, but that requires a lot of swamps to start.
