How many of you have played Pit? It is a lightning fast trading game that is a whole lot of fun. Now, if you read the rules you can see that the game is easily adaptable to have Magic cards be the traded commodities. My idea is to have the eight traded stocks to be the following: Gold, White, Blue, Black, Red, Green, Artifact, and Land instead of Soybeans and the like. I also want the game to still be played by non-Magic fans so I'm wanting all the cards of a commodity to be the same card. What I am sharing this idea for is to get your opinion about what cards I should use for the commodities. I'm wanting to go for iconic cards but also ones that I can write the point value of the card on and not feel terrible for ruining an expensive card. However, I also will list my idea for the "rare" version of the Pit deck too. So here is the plan I have currently for the suits
Gold: Fusion Elemental
White: Elite Vanguard or Serra Angel
Blue: Wind Drake or Mahamoti Djinn
Black: Scathe Zombies or Nightmare
Red: Hill Giant or Shivan Dragon
Green: Grizzly Bear or Force of Nature
Artifact: Ornithopter or Colossus of Sardia
Land: Terramorphic Expanse
Bear: Phantasmal Bear
Bull: Raging Bull
