I built a large Zeddemore stack awhile back, introduced it to a few playgroups and people in multiple other groups are now building their own. I adjusted the rules from that old post since they did some things wrong. What really works well is to just have basics set aside for players to play as though they were in hand, no mana except perhaps some ramp in the stack itself, and empty starting hands. Don't worry, hands fill up as the game progresses and are usually large later in the game because you tend to draw more than play. Of course, the first draw on draw step is the only one that's "drafted" but every card drafted is considered the first card drawn, so cards like Chasm Skulker are sweet and miracle is boss. As for the composition of the stack, it basically looks like a singleton pile of EDH goodstuff and miscellaneous rares. The power level of cards varies but that makes for a more fun drafting process as long as nothing is too bonkers. The reception of this format has been great, even a little overwhelming, and I even get people who hate limited to play it because you don't waste time drafting instead of playing. Oh, and I made the starting life total 30 mostly because I was aiming for grindy EDH-esque gameplay, but that is a dial for the building of a zeddemore stack to adjust to fit their format.
If anyone is actually interested in making their own list, you can pretty much design any limited format you want just by deciding what the removal suite looks like, the mana curve of threats, etc. You could easily make it much more aggressive than the turn 12 battlecruiser format I've made, you could keep it generally goodstuff or pick a couple archetypes. I've even thought about doing a Lorwyn-Eventide stack, which at that point, is just an alternative way to build a themed cube.
This format has been better received than my normal cube or Type 4 cube and its miles easier to put together than Battle Box (Danger Room) since you can practically jam your collection into it instead of meticulously crafting a beautifully balanced set of cards.

It's called Zeddemore.
I'd love to hear what other people think.
