So i was just thinking last night about magic variants, when i got this idea... CONQUEROR
So here's how it works.
First you will need a deck of normal playing cards. what your going to do is pull out the kings, queens, and a joker and shuffle them together.
Once the playing cards are shuffled distribute them randomly among the players. If you are dealt a king or queen, your on team one and two respectively.
If you are dealt the joker you are the conqueror. When each player is dealt their card they look at it and put it back down on the table face down, not telling anyone what team they're on.
play continues as normal except for these rules:
Players on team 1 and 2 can not reveal what team they are on. The objective of team 1 and 2 is to find the conqueror and kill him, and then kill the other team.
The conqueror's objective is to kill everyone and be the last one standing or ending the game in a tie. When the conqueror is killed, if there are 3 or more players not including the conqueror left in the game, the conqueror reveals that he is the conqueror, heals for 15 health, and puts the joker face up on the field as a 4/4,indestructible, hexproof avatar creature that can block 3 creatures and attack 3 players(yes i know its a "little" over powered), if there are less then 3 players left in the game then the conqueror gains 10 life and puts the joker down as a 2/2 indestructible avatar creature that can block 2 creatures and attack 2 players. at any point during the game the conqueror can reveal he is the conqueror with the above effects. when the conqueror is revealed, play continues as normal and at the beginning of each players turn they reveal their playing card and the game continues as a multi-player game with three teams, team 1 and 2 and the conqueror team.
the conqueror wins if all other players die or the game ends in a tie. the other teams win when the conqueror is killed (for good) and the other team exterminated.
Thanks for reading this:). sorry that its long and please comment. constructive criticism is welcomed :).
