Introducing Lucky Charms the magically delicious multiplayer variant game.
How Lucky Charms came to be, well one day I was watching harry potter and the order of the phoenix. Well at the end of the movie where Dumbledore and Voldemort are crossing spells one after another in an epic wizard dual I had thought to myself it would be nice to have a magic dual like that in MTG. Then it dawned on me that it would be possible so I started the construction of an all instants deck, but having only instants that targeted players was limiting the full possibility of the game so I added in creatures with flash into the mix. This brought the game to life, now having an equal threat from player and creature.
How to play
Players have an opening hand of five cards.
If a player would draw or search for a card it is all from the same library. Same goes for graveyard. (If a card asks to look use an opponent’s library or graveyard it uses the same pile.)
At the beginning of each players draw phase, that player draws up to five cards.
Players Maximum hand size is seven.
Players Starting life total is 20.
The rest is the same as normal magic.
Players have Unlimited mana of every color.
Deck construction.
At first I tried to make the deck with only cards with 3 CMC or less but had to throw that out when I added in creatures. There weren’t enough low costed creatures. So creatures have no limit on the CMC. As for Instants I limited most mono colored to 3cmc or less save a max of 10 spells with CMC 4 or more in all colors. Multicolored cards I gave up on limiting them.
