This is what I've finally constructed on MTGO. have done 3 complete matches with players and the deck has been working nicely. I didn't really think there was going to be as much mono white as there is.
Mono Black to me seems to be the best deck. Removal, Thoughtseize, good creatures, and the color with the most Devotion support, pretty much a tier 1 deck in Block.
Also keep in mind that the set just came off prerelease. This mean that many many people won't have a deck built for some time. If you played this weekend it is true for nearly every card that you were better off selling this weekend and buying back in next weekend or the week following. Also with the block events not starting until the end of the month, the grinders won't even be bothering for a bit.
Myself I only have about half the cards I need for the decks I want, and as I'll be playing in a fair number of release events I probably won't have a deck until towards the end of the month. I will be starting with either mono black or black/white and seeing where it goes from there.
From what I played from the little bit of drafting, both RW Aggro and BR Minotaurs seem strong. I don't think mono-red is as there as it is in standard, but it too should have umph. Mono green? Maybe. Blue? I don't like so much, but it's early, lets see what comes with BotG and JIN

Why do I like posting in lists:
1. It allows me to express multiple thoughts without a need to write an essay or make multiple posts. 2. I tend to have multiple thoughts at the same time. 3. Having the right first opinion is sometimes more glorious than having a grammatically correct second opinion. 4. It allows you as a reader to pick out the most erroneous point and counter-comment, allowing you the chance to express an opinion and look like a sensible person when I sound like a dummy.
Been fooling around with a mono white list mostly because I had many of the cards fr sealed events over the weekend and what I didn't have was pretty cheap. Saw some mono white in the practice room as well but haven't had much time devoted to testing as of yet.
So far, it's been pretty good. Only played a few games verse Esper Control, but needless to say it's fast and puts a lot of damage in the red zone often before the opponent can do much. Looks weak on paper to red burn, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there, I suppose.
Just been messing around in tournament practice for the past few hours and I have to agree there seems to be a lot of people testing mono white. I've been experimenting with side boarding since the mirror is so common (not sure how 'mirror' it is my list is still very rough)
Came across one RDW, it was a close match I feel like whites potential life gain could edge out that match but my personal experience was a 1-2 loss, the RDW seems quite explosive but vulnerable to 2 for 1s.
Saw one Gr ramp, first game I went too big too fast. they dropped an Arbor colossus but next turn I had lethal on the board including a 6/6 fabled hero. Second game he maligned to 4 and conceded early. I would like to see this deck more.
Anyway, it's late for me and I'm a bit too tired to type up a list but I'll post my rough draft when I wake up. It's mostly just a WW testing heliod and elspeth at the top end as mana outlets to the devotion land but it seems win more, however elspeth seems like it would be necesary if you found yourself in a late game with Gx ramp.
I know that it's probably a lost cause, but I REALLY want a U/R CounterBurn type of deck to be at least moderately viable in block. There's a great finisher in Spellheart Chimera. I just don't know if there's enough in the block yet to support it.
I'm testing a version of sortof UR Midrange with a little bounce and counter, plus Magma Jet and Lightning Strike to stall into Prognostic Sphinx, Master of Waves, or Spellheart to finish. It looks like there's potential... but I don't think it's fast enough or controlly enough for White Weenie right now.

Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
I think the ordeals might be constructed playable in a whit heroic deck. It takes a lot of the creatures from 2/2 to 4/4 - out of range of anger of the gods - and cracks after just 2 attacks.

Not sure how representative this deck is of the WW decks, but how does this beat Anger of the Gods and spot removal?
Well as benbuzz said the ordeal of heliod gets things out of range of anger quite quickly, gods willing is a pseudo counter spell for spot removal that scrys and triggers heroic. Combat tricks can also negate burn and anger of the gods.
The deck can be vulnerable to instant speed removal relying only on gods willing at that point. I'm also taking advantage of the low number of instant speed removal in this format, it's mostly burn which the weenies out grow pretty quickly.
When does block start? I think I will be trying Big Boros, has a lot of early removal and big bombs. Turns 1-3 kill kill kill then just take over with Ember Swallower and Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Game 2?

... proceed to crawl up the wall in crab position with your head hanging backwards until you reach the ceiling. Once you are there, start screaming "For the Glory of Satan" while blood seeps out of your eye sockets (bonus points if they land on her desk).
Generally works for me in those kinds of situations.

Events start at the end of the month. I've been thinking about big boros as well, every time I do however I start to get greedy and want to splash black for whip and read the bones but I'm pretty sure that's way too greedy on the mana base even with two sets of scry lands.

How long have they been running 8 man block queues? Do they fire?

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Seems like R/W is pretty viable, given how ludicrously fast it can be. Top your curve out at 3 with a bunch of heroic dorks and kill them before turn five.

Cyme we inne frið, fram the grip of deaþ to lif inne ðis smylte land.
UW actully seems more promising than RW, because it has some card advantage to offset the inherent badness of the strategy. also voyages end is a pretty good tempo card against big creature decks, dunno if you'd main or side it.
The UW deck has pretty bad mana. Though you only need 1 island, but you kind of need 3 plains to cast your double white spells and hold up gods willing. Though i'm not sure if 4 dual lands would make it much better.
Has anyone seen the BUG control lists running around? Take the green ramp and black removal. Finish them with ashiok and Polukranos. I am not sure if it can stabilize early enough though.

Yeah. To bad for them they are way to slow and spread to far. If you aren't mono colored (btw mono red herioc beats RW heroic) or have green in your deck you going to get crushed. I was playing a UB deck that was good at first but the block is a turn 5 block and if you haven't won or winning by then, youre most likely going to lose.
Im going to start filming some matches and putting them up on my site of the green splash red ramp deck I have been running. Stay tuned.

I was working on something like that. Haven't gotten to test it yet. Here's the discussion thread: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=542708
