i play a lot of U/W control so it's good to see how you play against it
what do you think about slaughter games in the side?
one bit of feedback about the stream, though - your friend needs to go!
it's nice to have someone else to chat with to fill dead time in the stream, but he clearly doesn't know the format and as a viewer it's very tiresome hearing his comments and questions - i'm sure he's a cool guy and everything but it doesn't seem like this is his niche
other than that i'm quite enjoying the stream!
edit: also perhaps find something to do between rounds, just play practice matches with that or another block constructed deck or goof around with momir or talk about deck tweaking options or something mtgo related
also i can't find any active forums or anything to discuss rtr constructed strategies - i mean i'm posting here but there seems to be very little traffic - where do you talk shop about rtr block?

I pretty much just wanted to beat Blue/White and after some brainstorming I realized that Rakdos has a lot of great removal to keep up with aggro (Dreadbore, Auger Spree, Mizzium Mortars) plus Rakdos's Return to destroy control, and then since Izzet is in the format you can play Blue as well to keep up with the card advantage and tempo with Jace and Counterspells.
And to be honest I really don't know. This is the result of me playing Block for a week and analyzing the format myself and trying to come up with an answer.

It's a pretty tight community. If you get to know people you can 1-1 with people on MTGO or elsewhere, but I haven't actually found a more active block site.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
Am I to believe that an Angel of Serenity (a 7 drop mediocre reanimation target) is going to have the SAME value as a Hallowed Fountain? 15 bucks each? Sorry, not going to happen. Not now, not ever.
6 bucks for a Sphinx's Revelation? The value will tank by at least 50% as most of the spells of it's nature (post-Stroke).
In 3 months, say January 1st, it will be interesting to see how much you overpaid.
i see you had your friend back again. this time he didn't even watch your stream and comment on magic, but instead spent most of the time asking random questions about EVE with no regard to the stream. i guess that was actually better tbh lol!
i liked the other friend (jon?) who joined later in the stream tho, he seemed cool
sucks to scrub out but no one wins every time, the deck still seems sound no big deal
Yeah tbh I was actually a little annoyed at him for doing that. -.- My other friend is much better at Magic and I'll definitely have him join again if he can lol.
Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
Update:
Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the first stream!
I will be streaming again tonight (12/30/12) at 9:00 PM CST for the RTR Block Premier Event!
