My favorite color combination is green/black because I strongly agree with the Golgari mentality (death is an essential part of life, provide food for the poor, etc). I prefer casual play and I have a very tight budget so please keep that in mind when giving me advice, tips, and suggestions.
I want to create a casual green/black spider/insect tribal deck. The problem I'm facing is coming up with a good strategy and approach to constructing this deck. I would really appreciate any advice and card suggestions to help me get started.
First off, what is your specific budget limitation? This will better help us to ascertain what cards to suggest.
Secondly, what cards do you have in mind yourself for this project? Any? A few spiders come to mind.
Most (if not all) spiders are green so I would assume that you would use the black part of the golgari color pair for removal pieces and perhaps some support pieces.
At this point, Ishkanah, Grafwidow is the crem de la crem of spider goodness and they are sitting around $3 each.
I would like to stick to a budget of $50 maximum. Admittedly, I am not very good at making synergetic decks but I love making decks nonetheless. The problem is I can't seem to pick a strategy to go with :/
I would like only spider/insect creatures if possible because I really like tribal decks. I think I want to have a good blend of black removal, support, and creatures (while spiders are typically green, there are black insects). For green, more creature focused with some support. I do like that there is a legendary spider though I'm not quite sure if I should include her.
Any card/strategy suggestions would be helpful If you were in my shoes what you include?

How budget? $20? $100? $5? That makes a big difference to how the deck can be built and played.
If you go the swarmyard route with Hornet Nest and Boodhatch Nantuko you can make a deck that goes very, very wide. Add in Arena, Prey Upon, and Setessan Tactics you have a deck that completely destroys aggro decks by flooding the board with death touch creatures. For black add some targeted discard spells to protect your troops and you have a reasonable deck. The Swarmyards are the priciest part of that deck, but needed to keep your token makers alive turn after turn.
Edit: This will set you about 60 bucks, mostly for Swamyard. $20 without it, but you will have to include a few cards that give out cheap regeneration.
Those are off the top of my head. Ive never built a spider deck.... youll probably want a way to boost their power as well. Maybe something like Coat of Arms or Door of Destinies
In a spider themed deck, Arachnus Spinner and Arachnus Web are quite strong. Once you get a Spinner, since you're playng lots of spiders, you can get your full playset of Webs in no time. And since you can also grab them from the graveyard, the fact that they are destroyed at the end of the turn if they enchant too powerful creatures, is hardly an issue, because you can just tap a spider and reattach it right away.
I also think, that mixing spiders with insects is already too much diversity in creature types. It makes sense thematically, sure, but unless you already have some specific insects that you simply have to play, a full blown swarm of spiders should hardly be more restrictive than spiders+insects. But it would allow you to use type specific cards or cards that affect a single chosen creature type more efficiently. For example, you can use Adaptive Automaton as a generic lord for spiders, and it would affect all your creatures instead of just half of them.
Since spiders tend to be low power and high toughness, I would definitely include Assault Formation. Doran, the Siege Tower is probably out of your price range.

The best cards for a golgari insect deck are going to be Swarmyard, Hornet Queen, Hornet Nest, Vorapede, Nyx Weaver, Broodhatch Nantuko, Penumbra Spider, Scute Mob, Skylasher, and Killer Bees.

For removal on the cheap you can go with the classic Murder or something like Grasp of Darkness, Doom blade, Cruel Finality, Ultimate Price
