I'm not sure if this is possible, but I would like to build a Black/*Blue deck based around Soulflayer, Cairn Wanderer, and Deathrite Shaman. I have some ideas, but I'm looking for any help. I'll list below the **cards I like and considering. I'm not sure of how many so I'll put zero for now. Thanks!
*I don't know a lot of blue cards, so I could really use some suggestions here.
**I'd love to include the cards listed below in the final deck if possible.
Not sure what kind of advice you are looking for but here are my opinions. You should pick either Soulflayer or wanderer, not use both. I have no idea what Deathrite Shaman does for the deck. Use a lot of blue Merfolk Looter type cards to help get through your decks and get abilities for your dudes. Also consider running off color creatures to maximize your ability spread, i.e. Chromanticore
Unfortunately every try hard from Sacramento to Shanghai preaches from the top of their 27 lands + Mana Reflection that Tooth and Nail and Time Stretch are fine to play in the same turn but Armageddon is unfair.

Thank you for the reply. I'm not completely sure, but I know when I saw those two cards Cairn Wanderer and Soulflayer I knew I had to build a deck around them.
From the information I'm gathering it seems like it would be a good idea to use cards to quickly get my creatures into the graveyard and get either Soulflayer or Cairn Wanderer onto the battlefield.
Couple of questions - How can I go about running creatures like Chromanticore? Because I am a beginner at Mtg, I've pretty much been sticking with Mono decks or two color decks. This is simple for me because I can either use all of one land or just split my 24 lands into two colors. I get a little more confused when I throw other colors into the mix.
Also, concerning Deathrite Shaman, I get that he might not seem to "fit" into this deck, but is having him in there going to hurt my strategy at all? I LOVE the artwork and think it would be cool to include him in my finished deck.
Lastly, which card seems better to you - Cairn Wanderer or Soulflayer?

Thanks again!
Deathrite shaman is a fantastic card but unless you start splashing green and running fetchlands he just isn't going to do you any good.
As for Chromanticore, you won't actually be playing 5 colors. You just want to get it into your graveyard so it will make your wanderers better.
