I like the update. Try the deck out and see how It plays, then give us some feedback on how you did. We can give some better pointers after you evaluate any weaknesses or strengths you'd like to enhance. Good luck mate! R
In my old school burn/cheese deck i run a couple ember haulers, pyroclasms, and in old fashion Granite Gargoyle, Eron the Relentless (for evasive block and hastey or regen) plus a balduvian horde and thunderous wrath for top decking
I totally forgot about Fireblast though (may have to put them in mine now)
How about reading cards before talking nonsense about them? Steel’s X ability doesn’t do anything unless you’ve connected.
Yes, that was an error on my part, my apologies. Still, from my own personal experience running Red Control/Burn, I'd rather have Steel over Thundermaw. In longer, drawn-out games playing Red the Steel Hellkite has more value than Thundermaw Hellkite. As the OP decided to go with a more aggressive, faster burn strategy it was ultimately decided that Thundermaw was the superior choice, which it rightly is under those circumstances.
Thundermaw can’t be blocked by any 1/1 flyer because there won’t be one left. Or really any flyer the first turn unless it’s flashed in.
Exactly.
Eyes in the Skies, Midnight Haunting, Flash Foliage, Prophet of Kruphix + Anything That Flies, etc. The Thundermaw trick only works once or twice. A good opponent will sideboard something that can either remove it/counter or just block it. Of course, that doesn't stop Thundermaw Hellkite from being a very good card to run in Burn. The great body and flying is a huge plus, don't just rely on it's damage/tap ability to win and the card is golden.

Black Vise used to be played in aggressive red decks too.
Cursed Scroll is an alternative to Grim Lavamancer.
Keldon Marauders is a cheap creature that comes with a '2 damage guarantee'. I'ld certainly pick a playset up.
Edit: neither did I.
These are the decks that I have constructed, and are ready to play:
01. Ankh Sligh to be exact.
Exactly.
