did but it's over a year old so I didn't want to necrophilia it.I
It's a primer though, so I don't think that'd be a problem. People have revived the thread many times over the years.
Regardless of the color you use for your samurai deck, I find Avacyn's Collar equally powerful in each, because not only it allows your samurai to do what they're best at, which is combat, it also turn them into flying spirits when they die, which is both mechanically and flavorfully sound. The same could be said about any vigilance-granintg buffs.
If you go equipment route, Steelshaper's Gift is a must, although I don't recommend more than 3 copies. I use Sword of Fire and Ice and Umezawa's Jitte for my deck, but they are expensive, so Oathkeeper, Takeno's Daisho and Sword of Vengeance (which you already have) are good alternatives, provided that you have other protections such as Mother of Runes. Mother of Runes has the benefit of protecting your creatures without removing your colorless equipment and even if you got none she is still very powerful protector.
Depending on your play group, Skullclamp can be considered as a secondary removal-protection, making it a tougher choice for your opponent to kill your creatures and if they do, you recover much faster. Alternative would be Infiltrator's Lens which utilizes samurai's natural combat prowess so your opponent would suffer whether or not they block. Couple with Mother of Runes that prevents damage to your samurai, it becomes agonizing. I haven't tried Mask of Memory yet, it could be another good option.
I was eventually planning on getting one of each of the scar of mirridon block swords to replace the sword of vengeances with. My question is though, how much of each equipment should I use with collar and skullclamp? I'll rework the deck using your suggestions.
Also, what color ocmbo is generally the best nowadays?
Lastly, this was another idea I had, Collossos is the finisher, but I'm not sure if it would work.

I would avoid the enchantments that gives additional abilities, because they don't stack with each other, which means every extra draw is wasted. You should use equipments here and keep Shared Triumph if you go for multi-color samurai.
I find red to be a good combo with Saumrai, given that red has the second best samurai and add direct damage to your deck. In addition, Boros spells tend to favor combat and preserving your creatures as well.
A great option is the **ck you spell known as Boros Charm you may also want to use Path To Exile instead of swords the little bit of ramp it gives them won't matter if you time it right and it won't give them life which this deck should avoid doing. You may also want Sunlance if you stay in white, it's a nice cheap kill spell. You could also try Godsend
replace swords to plowshares with path to exile. Path is used in aggressive decks, as they try to get the opponents life to zero as fast as possible. Swords is used in control decks, as an opponent having 40 life does not matter when you have a 6/6 flyer sitting on your side of the board with 4 counterspells in hand. Remove all of the enchantments except shared triumph in the third deck you posted. They suck. Why? They are not cost efficient, and if you have one in play and draw another one, it becomes a useless card in your hand (this is card disadvantage, which is BAD)
Path of bravery is also bad in your second deck. I would replace it with 3 lands. Your mana curve is not low enough to have only 20 lands.
My monowhite I've had for years, it's served me quite well, but I'm sure it could use an update.
3 sword of vengeance
4 brave the elements
4 honor of the pure
4 oblivion ring
3 Nagao, bound by honor
4 Hand of honor
4 Samurai of the pale curtain
2 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 araba mothrider
And my draft for a g/w.
4 armadillo cloak
4 behemoth sledge
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 devoted retainer
3 Nagao, bound by honor
4 Hand of honor
4 Samurai of the pale curtain
2 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 araba mothrider
1 Kentaro, the Smiling Cat
3 Isao, Enlightened Bushi
4 Sunpetal Grove
10 plains
2 forest
The idea is this one uses the cloak and sledge to earn enough life to get path to bravery going.

Major thanks to Traprootkami for the signature.

I agree with the above people that RW tends to be the best color, with support from Lightning Bolt, lightning helix, boros charm, or magma jet.
So R/W is better then monowhite?
I'll rework the deck then, Path is in over swords. What's the second best samurai from red btw?
1 sword of war and peace
1 sword of body and mind
4 boros charm
1 sword of feast and famine
1 sword of vengeance
4 shared triumph
4 lightning helix
4 araba mothrider
4 Hand of honor
4 Samurai of the pale curtain
4 mother of runes
8 plains
4 cliftop retreat
4 sacred foundry
How's this look? Any better? I wanted to fit steelshaper's gift and perhaps another sword, but can't figure that out.
