This is my attempt at constructing an improved version of Darwin Kastle's "The Claw", an Onslaught Block Constructed deck noted for running 3 Rorix Bladewing, 4 Kilnmouth Dragon and 4 Imperial Hellkite. I've decided to go for Jund colors for the sake of flavor and because it affords some tutors and card draw that could really help the deck out.
I want to take a different approach to dragons. Instead of using little elves, birds or snakes, I want to play board control with artifact acceleration. I'm pretty happy with Coldsteel Heart, but am looking for something to use in place of Worn Powerstone that fits within 3-CC or less...or should I use Thran Dynamo?
Coalition Relic, tho I don't think the deck needs its colour fixing that hard.
Coldsteel Heart however could be Golgari Signet, fixes both colours and while needing mana to activate, it does not etbt and you don't need more than one mana of any non-red colour anyways. At worst it's not ramp but a filter for Vampiric Tutor. On the note of filters, you absolutely don't need the filter lands, as I said, you don't need more than one colour, and with eight of them your are bound to get some really annoying draws.
Kilnmouth will also be underwhelming...

I'm using the same dragon count as Kastle, so I expect similar results in terms of the Amplify counters. Coldsteel Heart is great in this deck, moreso than the Signets. In Modern, I've read about a deck called "Skred Red" or "La Reactionaries." It uses high end creatures, such as Stormbreath, Demigod of Revenge, Wurmcoil Engine and/or Inferno Titan depending on the player's preference. Coldsteel Heart is the preferred means of acceleration in the deck, hence my decision to carry it over here into my casual Claw deck.
What's your opinion on the Powerstone, and which lands would you recommend I add in place of the Filters? I could see me swapping the Powerstone for the Signets, though. Perhaps: 4 Talisman of Indulgence and 4 Golgari Signet?
Magic has changed since Onslaught. With the same number of dragons, yours are cheaper and overall better than what that Kastle dude could play. You do not want to hold back your 5cmc haste beaters just to make Kilnmouth bigger. Kilnmouth also does not affect the board the turn it comes down.
Skred plays Heart because it counts as snow permanent/card for ... Skred/Scrying Sheets. The deck also does not splash any colours.
Powerstone ramps two you want to keep that, it's essential. Before you now say, then Dynamo must be even better - it isn't. Here atleast. Because with your 5cmc creatures, if you ramp, you want to cast them before turn five. That means turn four or earlier. Dynamo comes down turn four, unless you also got a 2cmc ramp on turn two. I would not count on that.

Kilnmouth's the icing on the cake. At its heart, this deck is a control build that can sometimes win via a dragon tribal wincon.
