Hello everyone. Some time ago in this section of the boards there was a thread where a valued Salvation member offered his help to anyone who dared to ask for it in building decks, cool decks, fun decks, decks with personality that are out to not only win, but win with style.
Well, that thread has since become defunct, so I'm here to revitalize the idea! I made a separate thread so that people wouldn't be misled by the OP; I'll be trying to offer my advice and creativity to your requests, not the legendary StairC.
So I'm here to offer my deck design services to our casual crowd. Please feel free to ask for simply suggestions or even whole lists; I love building around cards, good or bad! I'm always happy to help with any format, but for EDH I'd rather offer simple suggestions rather than entire decklists, as those can be a pretty exhausting effort.
Just tell me what you want! Budget info, what card to build around, what kind of decks your annoying friends have built that you just want to crush. I'll do my best.
Ask away!
Note: please specify if there's any format restriction on the deck you want!

Great to see someone picking up the torch after ol' legendary Stairc! I'll start you out with a couple of pretty tough challenges:
I'm a fairly experienced deck builder myself, and I can usually build and refine most of my deck ideas. However, I'm more of a researcher than an inventer when it comes to deckbuilding, meaning that I'm not terribly creative, but rely on solid research and other peoples ideas and decklists that I analyze, pick apart and put together into a concoction of my own that works in my meta. I have two deck desires that I never could seem to get right though. I wan't to build a strong spirit/arcane deck full of Kamigawa flavor and I would really (really!) like a descent, snow-themed deck. I haven't been able to come up with satisfactory lists myself, and my intensive google'ing haven't yielded good enough results either. Can you do it?
I'm sort of a Spike-Timmy-Vorthos: I want to win at least half of the times, I like to do it with style and I need my decks to feel right, that is have some sort of theme, connection etc. To me, good stuff decks are boring and unsatisfactory, strong as they may be.
I'm really anxious to see if you can come up with something exciting.
EDIT: I mainly play 1v1 and my meta consists of fairly powerful casual decks, mostly aggro and creature based control (no sweepers). My budget limit per deck is around $60-70 and I don't like infinite combos. That should cover it!
I'm also looking for a Spirit/Arcane-themed deck focused around Hokori, Dust Drinker and Seedborn Muse (obviously aiming toward a mana-denial strategy).
Count me in for the cool snow deck too. As a starting point, here is my last two takes on snow.dec:
Both decks could use some additionnal lands to be more consistent, but since my casual playgroup always play 20 lands (unless the deck is specifically built around a land theme), it doesn't affect it overall playability at my kitchen table
@Mr.Sinister: I see you have a Ninja deck. Mind sharing your list? I'm also working on that
BTW, I plan to visit this thread frequently, as I have near 50 decks laying around, and a dozen more in the works. I can possibly share an idea or two with others.

No problem, but it's pretty basic. I've had it ever since Betrayers of Kamigawa was released, and I've changed it countless times. The current build is pretty close to what many others run. Here it is:
I like Diamond Dust flavor wise, but it's power level probably isn't very high is it?
All in all, the deck can be deadly if given enough time to build a proper board presence. However, it lacks proper acceleration to be able to do it on a regular basis. I guess you could cut the following:
That would leave 12 spots for more accel. Since we're cutting 8 snow permanents, we could also cut a Scrying Sheets, making it 13 spots total.
To stay on-theme, we could consider Nature's Lore (from Ice Age, of course!) or even Edge of Autumn. The latter is IMHO the best option, since it can also turn into a late-game free draw. We could also up the land count to 24 (and check back the color needs to adjust the basics accordingly)
The early draft of this deck included Paradise Mantle as a cheap accel and Centaur Omenreader enabler. Could also be worth revisiting.
Cool idea, my friend need's an idea for his deck, it should have these things:
He asked for something that isn't aggro, he wanna more midrange, control, anything that isn't pure aggro (aka put creatures, tap to attack and removal).
He wanna play BLACK, no three colors decks, only dual or mono black, and he doesn't like red.
He wanna play around sacrifices, land destroy, disruption/discards, big creatures.
He wanna some control/midrange elements.
Maybe something with different cards or mechanics.
CASUAL PLAY, it can be any card that isn't very hard to find.
Total of $45 budget at mid/highprice, this means NO thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek...

Just need some ideas, anyone?
Shale makes a good suggestion. Here's a sample list that doesn't have red and includes some really fun synergies:
Lands: 23 lands (Whatever fits your budget, heavier on blue)
That's a pretty rough list, but offers a great guideline. Havengul Lich lets you use and abuse your etb triggers over and over again, even better if you've got Heartless Summoning reducing the cost of the creatures you're casting. The two of them together turn Perilous Myr into a repeatable 1 for 2 damage to target creature or player. If you want to push the deck into a place that makes infinite mana, add Priest of Gix. I also really like Fleshbag Marauder as a replacement for Shriekmaw if you're worried about the restrictions on his etb ability. Unfortunately you can't really get land destruction if you don't want to play red. Fulminator Mage would be pretty cool in this deck but he's WAY expensive. I'd also consider Blood Artist, but I fear his overall synergy with the deck is lacking. Finally, Mournwhelk is worth considering if you want to add discard in to the mix. He could easily replace Solemn Simulacrum if you're not that excited about him.
Mr. Sinister: I'm pondering these challenges, I'll try to put something together for you you started me off somewhere nice and difficult.
Late edit: we're all adults here, one card is clearly better. There's no need for a 3-3 split with Mana Leak and Counterspell. I've changed it to a 4-2 split in favor of Counterspell. The deck leans so heavily blue that the UU on turn two shouldn't be an issue.

I have a dream of making a deck entirely out of the various oversized cards printed over the years, including "box toppers" and commander creatures. If it's oversized, it's useable here. I compiled a list of every oversized card, but I have absolutely no idea where to start or what kind of deck to make. There's a lot of cards If anyone wants to chip in for some help, that'd be amazing. Here's the list of every large card printed:

Well, I'd approach this pretty simply: you've got access to all of these powerful commanders, may as well use their synergies. I think Kaalia of the Vast is best positioned; she's got great colors considering the card pool, giving her both removal and tutoring, plus she's got tons of targets.
Pretty simple deck. You've got tutors to get Kaalia ASAP and lots of bombs to drop. Additionally tutors will let you choose your Kaalia targets, so you get lots of one-ofs. You can't hardcast Teneb and Numot, but it's no big deal. There's plenty of disruption to keep your opponents at bay while you set up and Abeyance offers Kaalia some protection. Obviously I'd include Black Lotus, but I think that's kind of a cheap shot.
Back to Mr. Sinister:
So, I think there's a viable possibility that this is a terrible deck. I've goldfished it on cockatrice a few times and it's a tad draw dependent and weak to sweepers, but I actually think it's pretty cool.
So I really do love the feel of this deck, it's all about death. Kami of False Hope is a card whose flavor I've always loved, especially with that flavor text. I think he's actually pretty good in this deck, he provides stall against creature heavy decks. Doomed Traveler fills a similar purpose and is nice enough to leave a spirit after death. Lingering Souls and Promise of Bunrei (very easy to trigger) give you a nice number of spirits to fuel the deck, as well as Spiritual Visit giving you the occasional token. You've got Soulless Revival to get a little extra use out of the Kamis and Rend Flesh for removal, as well as both being arcane to help you use the Visits. Proclamation of Rebirth is for sustain. Devouring Greed is the win and it's surprisingly easy to deal massive damage with, with a blue splash for Eerie Procession just to make sure you can hit it plus basic toolboxing. I added Long-Forgotten Gohei as an after-thought and as a kind of alternate win thing. Making the tokens hit harder is important and the mini ramp it has for arcane can come in handy.

This deck is nothing like I expected, but I really like it! My inner Vorthos loves the feeling of dread and the coming death and afterlife. My inner Spike generally likes the deck, but wants to analyze it further. My inner Timmy likes the deck but wants to have a stronger second win con, since winning the same way each time (with Devouring Greed) feels too much like combo. I have a Ghost Dad 2.0 deck that I'm currently trying to strengthen. I like it, but it's just not strong enough anymore. I've been considering adding Lingering Souls, Diregraf Captain, Kami of False Hope etc., which actually takes it into the direction of this deck. Therefore, I'm going to try to make a hybrid of the two decks and post it here, if I succeed. Here is the current build:
That was an excellent start from the aspiring deckbuilder extraordinaire. If you also manage to build a descent snow deck, I'll be completely awestruck. I've wanted to use Winter's Night in a snow deck ever since I saw it in an old GMAD, but it's very hard to get it to work properly without sacrificing too much of the snowy flavor.

I appreciate the support! And I understand your disappointment in a lack of alternate win con. Obzedat would be a pretty easy include, he's not much off flavor-wise and can do some really silly things by himself.
Anyway, here's what I put together for the snow deck. I rather enjoy it in goldfishing so far.
I tried my best to stick to Snow permanents and spells that cared that about Snow stuff. The two exceptions are Magus of the Candelabra and Rude Awakening; both of which have such beautiful synergy with Winter's Night that I just couldn't help myself.
Skred is basically unfair in this deck, there's no reasonable creature it won't be able to kill for R. Winter's Chill is a soft sweeper that will make for a sweet surprise the first few times you play with your group and make them scared to attack once they come to know its fury.
Diamond Faerie is your main win condition. She can practically do it solo with enough time. Once you add Winter's Night into the equation, forget about it. If you've got both and use Rude Awakening...I just love the flavor of the avalanche of Snow-Covered lands crashing into your opponent, pumped high by Faerie.
Then you've got Dark Depths. Sometimes you just won't have Faerie to make the magic happen, but using the insane amount of mana Winter's Night gives you via Magus and Awakening you can just blow through those counters and enjoy yourself a 20/20 indestructible flier. The best part is that it's fetchable with Into the North.
I am a little worried that the deck might be weak without Winter's Night on board and considered adding tutors, but Idyllic Tutor and Enlightened Tutor don't really fit in flavor-wise and are both pretty pricey. You end up relying on Faerie and/or a beneficial board state via Winter's Chill that allows Rude Awakening to do the work. I thought of using Rimefeather Owl or Rimescale Dragon as curve-topping bombs, but they're very expensive and have no way of protecting themselves.

This certainly is a well constructed snow deck, and it's somewhere along the lines of what I had been working on myself. However, I do worry about the dependency on Winter's Night and the general speed of the deck. I'm pretty sure it would be too slow for my playgroup. In my own builds I considered using Amulet of Vigor to speed up the deck, since a lot of the lands and Coldsteel Heart enters the battlefield tapped. I also considered Seedborn Muse, Garruk Wildspeaker and maybe even Bear Umbra for untapping during Winter's Night. However, it all became too clunky and took away some of the snow flavor. I also desperately needed one or more solid win cons. I like the freezing ability of Rimescale Dragon, but as you also point out, it's very expensive and lacks some kind of defensive measure.
All in all I'm afraid I'll have to conclude, that there's just not enough snow cards available to make the deck I'd like to have, that is a snow deck that is both powerful and flavorful. If only Ice Age and Alliances weren't so old and outdated. I started playing right before Ice Age was released, and back then the cards were pretty good. A lot has happened since then though. I'll just cross my fingers and hope that WotC will take up the snow mechanic again sometime in the future. Thanks a lot for your efforts!
It proved too difficult to merge my Ghost Dad 2.0 with your list, so I just altered your list a little to better suit my tastes. The flavor remains the same: an somewhat eerie feeling of passing into the afterlife and haunting the opponent with ghosts and other spirits. I decided to increase the decks stalling potential by adding 3x Ethereal Haze which is also a nice splice target. Obzedat is the main finisher, draining alongside Thief of Hope and leading a host of buffed-up flying spirits while opponents attacks are stalled repeatedly. Kami of False Hope has the potential to stall for a long time, since both the spliceable Soulless Revival and a dying Thief of Hope brings it back. I found Plagued Rusalka to be a lot better than Bile Urchin since it's ability can be very relevant, especially with so many small spirits floating around. I kept Devouring Greed as a finisher or win con, but the deck doesn't depend on it as much as before. Diregraf Captain replaced Long-Forgotten Gohei primarily because of the hexproof, but the 2/2 flying spirit body is also nice.
I have two concerns with the list that you might be able to help me with:
1. I feel like I should have some kind of draw or alternate CA. I considered Mentor of the Meek, Sky Hussar, Altars Reap, Sygg, River Cutthroat and Phyrexian Arena as well as some classic blue draw or cantripping. Reach trough Mists and Sift Though Sands are arcane spells and thus spliceable, but not fantastic. Evermind is kind of cool, but I probably have too few arcane spells for it to be consistent.
2. I fear that my complete lack of spot removal will end up being a problem. I considered adding a few copies of Rend Flesh like you did and maybe two Terashi's Grasp, but I didn't know what to lose for it.
What do you think of the build in general and my concerns. Anyone else feel free to answer too.
Make sure to feel very comfortable rejecting requests. People get lazy and as time goes on youll start getting incredibly lazy request from people who dont care tomake their own research.
If you see anything like "Make me an X deck" where X is something with a primer or really straigth forward and you dont choose to ignore it, itll bog you down.

I agree that it would be pretty perfect. It's a damn shame that they have to share a color, since I'm bound to have a number of white tokens around most of the time.
Ok, I'm back again. I need help. See, I made a bet with another player/close friend at my LGS that if I could successfully make a deck built around a card of his choosing, he'd build one with a card around my own choice. Unfortunately, the card he chose for me was...
I have no idea what to do about this. Can anyone at all help me make a list for this card? I would LOVE to show him up with a deck built for this card, but I can't do it by myself.
I'm so glad that you posted this. I am really looking for a unique deck. I have a few but most of them were researched and I pulled ideas from other decks to make them. I want something that no one else has. I don't know if it is even possible but I want to make a deck focused around music. I have been playing Clarinet (mainly) and other instruments for over 14 years now. I want a unique deck that focuses on a theme rather than just winning. I usually play with a group of 4 people. If the artwork features an instrument or the name is something that relates like having the work "chorus" in it. I've tried for a long time to come up with ideas but nothing seemed to go together. Can you help please?!
The other thing I am looking for would be a deck that can kill in a multiplayer game. I don't use much green so I would like to expand to this color. My friends all gang up if a deck is to fast so a mid range speed would be best with ways to either prevent damage of gain life. They all gang up if they realize I am using a good deck. It's super hard to win in that format. Something with combos is my favorite. I have a mill deck that I use that has multiple combos (3 different but none amazing). I'm just out of ideas.
Also, I don't really have a ton of money to spend. I don't mind going all out once in a while but I don't have the abilty to put hundreds of dollars into a deck. Maybe 50-60 in the beginning but it will have to be a "little" at a time thing otherwise.
hi sir i have a sliver deck and i usually play casual game against my friends and im sort of having an hard time to dominate the game because im playing up against an black destroyer deck, control deck and an burn deck. everytime they kill my creatures im having a hard time to play my combo. so far i have this build:
since i only have 2 crystalline sliver i put 4 simic charm to protect my slivers until i draw an crystalline sliver, also if i already have crystalline in play i can still use simic charm in other ways. what should i do to improve this deck and make it a little bit faster? hope you can help me sir.
You should definitely play Homing Sliver for easy tutoring, even if you don't play :symr:. If you get stuck with multiple copies in hand, you can produce with a Gemhide Sliver into play.
Playing Homing Sliver would also allows you to set up a sliver "toolbox", playing 4 of all your key dudes and 1-2 of situational dudes.
+4 Homing Sliver
+2 Sinew Sliver
+4 Galerider Sliver (provides evasion and early board presence)
+2 Telekinetic Sliver (locking your opponents lands during their upkeep is ugly. especially if you face control decks))

The only particularly off-flavor card here is Braid of Fire, but it's pretty wonderful in the deck. It completely counteracts Musician's cumulative upkeep, makes Warbreak Trumpeter worth running, and makes Citanul Flute's X cost negligible.
I included Chord of Calling because it's an amazing card, especially with Braid, and totally on flavor, but it is admittedly mad expensive. I'd replace it with Stroke of Genius; it's a tad off flavor, but also ridiculous with Braid and the deck kind of needs the card advantage. Adjust the mana base to include more blue; the one I designed is pretty generic since I don't really know what your mana situation is. I included Ancient Amphitheater because it's a cute nod to the flavor of the deck, despite just being a bad Clifftop Retreat.
Most of the creatures are pretty self-explanatory. Spamming Cylian Sunsinger is my favorite win con and beautifully on-flavor. Chorus of the Conclave makes any of your guys threats. Warbreak Trumpeter is going to be pretty bad unless you've got a Braid going, hence why there's only two. Musician was my starting point for this deck and inspired the direction I took it in terms of Braid, pretty cool card that can really shut down your opponent's board if left alone. Druid Lyrist is pretty basic, but I know in casual groups Oblivion Ring and the like are commonly used, plus it hates on much of Theros block.
So that's where I landed. Another random card I ended up not including is Angelsong. It would be reasonable to lower the number of Flutes and Pipers if you want to include it for additional stall.

I like where you ended up; I had considered strongly considered Drogskol Captain, but was worried of straying toooo far from Kamigawa flavor. I don't know how I missed Ethereal Haze, good call.
As for your concerns: I'd go with Altar's Reap every time. Perfect flavor, you've got the disposable creatures, and it triggers Promise of Bunrei. I like it more than Ghastly Discovery in every way. Splice is a small amount of card advantage on its own, especially Soulless Revival.
I really like Rend Flesh. To make room I'd start by dropping one Ethereal Haze (maybe more if you find you don't need THAT much Fog) and one Plagued Rusalka, since Rusalka in multiples is just redundant. I'd also be comfortable going down to 23 lands, especially if you add Altar's Reap.

If you're having trouble with burn and kill spells, I'd max out on those Crystalline Slivers ASAP. Galerider Sliver is probably much better than Shifting Sliver. I don't really see Gemhide Sliver being great in your deck since your deck all costs so little; I might just replace it with Might Sliver or Megantic Sliver and call it a day. Also, your deck can be very fast with all those low drop buffs; I'd just straight up replace the Fogs with Lightning Bolts. Simic Charm is great.

Its cool this thread is back. Always has been very inspiring.
Anyways, I have been thinking a long time to make a deck around the card Fatigue.
If oyu can play it every turn your opponent is locked out from the game.
So far I have been considering Archaeomancer and been locking for a way to make it enter play each turn with either conjurer's closet or Venser, the Sojourner .
But I'm stuck on the amount of possible other conclusions for the deck.
Maybe you find this interesting enough to lend me a helping hand?
Fair warning, this deck is a great way to lose friends and alienate people ;D
Pretty self explanatory deck here. There are three combo effects and I've included at least six of each to ensure you get them, which has been very successful in goldfishing. Conjurer's Closet is worse than Venser, but provides the necessary redundancy. Same goes for Mnemonic Wall being a slightly-worse Archaeomancer.
Fatigue and Silence are great early game stall alongside the Counterspells and Negates that end up locking your opponent out later in the game. In a stall deck in these colors, especially when you're already running Venser, there's no reason to avoid Stonehorn Dignitary, he's just too good.
Sphinx of Jwar Isle is your finisher, and a bit of a throwback to one of my favorite standard environments ever. Of course, there's a good chance your opponents will just scoop when you lock them out or pull off Venser's ultimate. I could have included Isochron Scepter if I wanted to be a real jerk, and feel free to slip it in, but I felt it might have been just a little too dick-ish of a move.

Count me in for the cool snow deck too. As a starting point, here is my last two takes on snow.dec:
4 Snow-Covered Island
3 Snow-Covered Plains
4 Scrying Sheets
2 Arctic Flats
2 Boreal Shelf
4 Squall Drifter
4 Frost Raptor
4 Ohran Viper
3 Centaur Omenreader
3 Diamond Faerie
2 Heidar, Rimewind Master
2 Rimefeather Owl
4 Into the North
4 Rune Snag
2 Glacial Plating
9 Snow-Covered Forest
4 Scrying Sheets
4 Boreal Druid
4 Rimebound Dead
4 Boreal Centaur
4 Chilling Shade
4 Ohran Viper
4 Into the North
4 Rime Transfusion
2 Naturalize
4 Recover
2 Chill to the Bone
Both decks could use some additionnal lands to be more consistent, but since my casual playgroup always play 20 lands (unless the deck is specifically built around a land theme), it doesn't affect it overall playability at my kitchen table
@Mr.Sinister: I see you have a Ninja deck. Mind sharing your list? I'm also working on that
BTW, I plan to visit this thread frequently, as I have near 50 decks laying around, and a dozen more in the works. I can possibly share an idea or two with others.
4x Ornithopter
4x Signal Pest
4x Mistblade Shinobi
4x Ninja of the Deep Hours
4x Throat Slitter
2x Higure, the Still Wind
1x Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni
1x Silent-Blade Oni
4x Tormented Soul
3x Cover of Darkness
Spells (6):
3x Smother
3x Spell Pierce
Lands (23):
4x Drowned Catacombs
8x Island
2x Mishra’s Factory
9x Swamp
EDIT: I like Diamond Dust flavor wise, but it's power level probably isn't very high is it?
All in all, the deck can be deadly if given enough time to build a proper board presence. However, it lacks proper acceleration to be able to do it on a regular basis. I guess you could cut the following:
4 Squall Drifter
4 Frost Raptor
4 Rune Snag
Makes it:
-4 Squall Drifter
-4 Frost Raptor
-4 Rune Snag
-1 Scrying Sheets
+4 Edge of Automn
+3 Paradise Mantle
+1 Centaur Omenreader
+5 lands (snowtaps or snow basics)
Sample decklist:
5 Mountain
5 Island
3 Crumbling Necropolis
4 Perilous Myr
3 Myr Superion
3 Pilgrim's Eye
4 Priest of Gix
4 Priest of Urabrask
4 Solemn Simulacrum
4 Havengul Lich
4 Mulldrifter
2 Rune-Scarred Demon
4 Heartless Summoning
Could easily take out from the deck, by replacing Red Sun's Zenith with Blue Sun's Zenith (infinite mill instead of infinite damage) and Priest of Urabrask with any other creature he may want.
The manabase can be adjusted pretty easily.
This deck is fun, has a lot of what your friend is looking for and is relatively cheap to put together.
Shale makes a good suggestion. Here's a sample list that doesn't have red and includes some really fun synergies:
3 Perilous Myr
4 Solemn Simulacrum
4 Mulldrifter
4 Shriekmaw
4 Havengul Lich
4 Heartless Summoning
4 Ponder
4 Preordain
3 Mana Leak
3 Counterspell
23 lands (Whatever fits your budget, heavier on blue)

Well, I'd approach this pretty simply: you've got access to all of these powerful commanders, may as well use their synergies. I think Kaalia of the Vast is best positioned; she's got great colors considering the card pool, giving her both removal and tutoring, plus she's got tons of targets.
3 Nekrataal
4 Kaalia of the Vast
2 Avacyn, Angel of Hope
1 Gisela, Blade of Goldknight
1 Oros, the Avenger
1 Tariel, Reckoner of Souls
1 Teneb, the Harvester
1 Numot, the Devastator
2 Griselbrand
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Vampiric Tutor
2 Pyroclasm
4 Abeyance
3 Diabolic Tutor
4 City of Brass
6 Plains
7 Swamp
6 Mountain
4 Doomed Traveler
4 Kami of False Hope
3 Bile Urchin
Artifacts/Enchantments (7):
4 Promise of Bunrei
3 Long-Forgotten Gohei
Instants/Sorceries (19):
3 Spiritual Visit

2 Eerie Procession
3 Devouring Greed
1 Boseiju, Who Shelters All
4 Godless Shrine
4 Isolated Chapel
2 Drowned Catacomb
2 Glacial Fortress
4 Plains
4 Swamp

4x Kor Spiritdancer
3x Mirror Entity
3x Obzedat, Ghost Council
3x Plagued Rusalka
4x Tallowisp
2x Angelic Destiny
3x Dead Weight
1x Enslave
2x Flickering Ward
2x Pillory of the Sleepless
1x Prison Term
4x Shining Shoal
2x Sickening Shoal
2x Terashi’s Grasp
Lands (23):
4x Caves of Koilos
12x Plains
8x Swamp
I appreciate the support! And I understand your disappointment in a lack of alternate win con. Obzedat would be a pretty easy include, he's not much off flavor-wise and can do some really silly things by himself.
Anyway, here's what I put together for the snow deck. I rather enjoy it in goldfishing so far.
3 Boreal Druid
4 Magus of the Candelabra
3 Ohran Viper
4 Diamond Faerie
Artifacts/Enchantments (8):
4 Coldsteel Heart
4 Winter's Night
2 Skred
4 Winter's Chill
4 Into the North
4 Rude Awakening
Lands (24):
5 Snow-Covered Forest
3 Snow-Covered Island
3 Snow-Covered Mountain
4 Arctic Flats
4 Boreal Shelf
4 Highland Weald
1 Dark Depths
I tried my best to stick to Snow permanents and spells that cared that about Snow stuff. The two exceptions are Magus of the Candelabra and Rude Awakening; both of which have such beautiful synergy with Winter's Night that I just couldn't help myself.
It's got some standard ramp elements in Boreal Druid and Coldsteel Heart, plus Into the North for fixing on a somewhat shaky manabase. Luckily even without Winter's Night, Magus of the Candelabra can let you tap and untap your lands for some solid fixing.

4x Drogskol Captain
4x Kami of False Hope
3x Obzedat, Ghost Council
3x Plagued Rusalka
3x Thief of Hope
3x Promise of Bunrei
Spells: (16)
3x Devouring Greed
3x Ethereal Haze
4x Lingering Souls
3x Spiritual Visit
3x Soulless Revival
2x Adarkar Wastes
4x Caves of Koilos
4x Drowned Catacombs
2x Moorland Haunt
6x Plains
6x Swamp
If you see anything like "Make me an X deck" where X is something with a primer or really straigth forward and you dont choose to ignore it, itll bog you down.
Ice Cauldron...
I have no idea what to do about this. Can anyone at all help me make a list for this card? I would LOVE to show him up with a deck built for this card, but I can't do it by myself.

Thanks!
since i only have 2 crystalline sliver i put 4 simic charm to protect my slivers until i draw an crystalline sliver, also if i already have crystalline in play i can still use simic charm in other ways. what should i do to improve this deck and make it a little bit faster? hope you can help me sir.
Playing Homing Sliver would also allows you to set up a sliver "toolbox", playing 4 of all your key dudes and 1-2 of situational dudes.
That would make it:
-2 Bonescythe Sliver
-2 Essence Sliver
-4 Simic Charm
-4 Fog
+4 Homing Sliver
+2 Sinew Sliver
+4 Galerider Sliver (provides evasion and early board presence)
+2 Telekinetic Sliver (locking your opponents lands during their upkeep is ugly. especially if you face control decks))
Playing would also gives you access to Heart Sliver, Two-Headed Sliver and Bonesplitter Sliver
Here's what I put together:
4 Druid Lyrist
2 Warbreak Trumpeter
4 Cylian Sunsinger
4 Thundersong Trumpeter
3 Musician
2 Elvish Piper
2 Chorus of the Conclave
4 Braid of Fire
2 Goblin War Drums
4 Torch Song
3 Citanul Flute
Instants/Sorceries (3):
3 Chord of Calling
Land (23):
4 Ancient Amphitheater
4 Jungle Shrine
4 Terramorphic Expanse
5 Forest
3 Mountain
2 Plains
1 Island

Fair warning, this deck is a great way to lose friends and alienate people ;D
But I love it.
4 Wall of Omens
3 Stonehorn Dignitary
4 Archaeomancer
2 Mnemonic Wall
2 Sphinx of Jwar Isle
4 Silence
4 Fatigue
3 Negate
4 Counterspell
2 Conjurer's Closet
Planeswalkers (4):
4 Venser, the Sojourner
Late edit: As noted by u/Xyx, Ghostly Flicker would be strong in this deck. I included Conjurer's Closet over it due to the fact that Ghostly Flicker is more conditional, in that it requires two Archaeomancers/Mnemonic Walls in play to be truly effective.
