The fact that it only hits attacking creatures, requires at least 1W to do anything, and even then probably doesn't exile the thing as most people attack before dropping dudes means this seems hella weak. Soul Snare seems like it's almost strictly better (especially given the rattlesnake aspect of it for multiplayer), and it's also largely outlcassed by Exile.

I have always wondered about this card. If it was +1 attack it would be over powered, but not by enough to justify sticking Doran or assault formation into a sliver deck.

I think it could be fun to combine Epic spells with Hive Mind in a "do it once, then never again" kind of way. But I've never cared enough to build a whole deck, and I don't even know which epic spell I'd prefer to combine with it. Neverending Torment has the bonus of being very predictable, that is, you should be able to determine if you can win or not before you cast it with Hive Mind in play. In multiplayer it depends on how your opponents choose to target of course.
I've built decks around both Neverending Torment and Eternal Dominion, though neither was particularly competitive. However, that was partly because I insisted that the Eternal Dominion deck's only win condition should be stealing other people's things - no Spire Golem to pull double duty on defense, not even Stalking Stones. I guess Neverending Torment could be a "big finish" in a mill strategy with other repeatable effects, like Millstone itself and other things that stay on the table.
I've always liked Runeboggle, and I felt it was always sort of on the cusp of being good for certain decks - three mana can be an awkward cost, but it will occasionally stop an important spell, and it has the all-important "draw a card" text.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not watching.
I would consider playing Disrupt in 1v1, in fast decks, when tempo matters and you can realistically catch someone tapping out and punish them by winning a war over spells and drawing an extra card for just 1 mana. Runeboggle seems expensive. Exclude, Arcane Denial, Dream Fracture and Dismiss compete for the same slot and can counter things less conditionally. I've just seen Runeboggle come up short too often, even in Pauper and Pauper Commander. By the time you can afford to leave 3+ mana open on opponents' turns, they're also less likely to completely tap out.
My earliest decks used Wild Growth and Arbor Elf together to cheat out fatties. It lacks the efficiency of sol ring and the other mana rocks, and the endurance of land fetching spells, but 6 mana turn 3 is always fun.

The fact that Wild Growth and its descendant effects (Fertile Ground, Overgrowth, Dawn's Reflection, etc) are enchantments rather than creatures like Llanowar Elves makes them great to use in combos like that - maindeck enchantment removal is more common in casual than in competitive constructed, but it's still not universal by any means. Jacob Van Lunen once posted a crazy storm deck on MagicTheGathering.com that used Dawn's Reflection with Psychic Puppetry and other arcane spells:
It's funny using False Orders in multiplayer to strategically kill an annoying creature of any size (either attacking or defending) all for one mana, something a monored deck otherwise struggles with. You can also win diplomacy points helping someone else out of a jam in combat.
There's the obvious combo with milling your whole library (Cephalid Breakfast, Oops All Spells, Hermit Druid, Dredge, or Mesmeric Orb+Monolith) and then Dread Return into Angel of Glory's Rise returning Azami and Laboratory Maniac, then tapping to win the game.
Nobody likes land kill, especially overpowered land kill. I have to say I do like my Izzet land kill deck though.

Wild Growth has also gotten some attention recently in 93/94, as people tried to make Verduran Enchantress decks with the likes of Dark Heart of the Wood, Fastbond, Paralyze, and others.
