A large portion of casual players like to use combos in their decks. So I decided to create a thread where you guys and gals will share your favorite combos/synergies, then I will keep a master list in the original post. Please give a brief description of each combo. Any combo/synergy is fine, no matter how powerful.
As the list grows, I will start to organize it into different combo types: infinite combo, damage combo, card drawing combo, etc.
Mana, Card Drawing, and Life loop: Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania + 4 other elves + Staff of Domination = Infinite mana, cards and life. All you need is to be able to tap a creature for 5 or more mana (so it doesn't just have to be Elvish Archdruid; Rofellos works if you have 5 Forests as does Bloom Tender if you have permanents of all 5 colors), as it costs 1 to untap the Staff and 3 to untap a creature, leaving 1 extra per loop.
I like Intruder Alarm and Sprout Swarm; they can lead to infinite creatures thanks to convoke and buyback, although you need five green creatures to get it started.
Damage Loop: Mind Over Matter / Quicksilver Dagger: you win the game as long as the number of cards in your library is greater than your opponent's life total.
Deathbringer Thoctar+Doubling Season+Rite of Passage
Get a +1/+1 counter on the Thoctar with those enchants on the field, then shoot the Thoctar with its ability so it gets 2 more from Rite+Doubling Season, and continue over and over until you can unload all the counters at the opponent's face (note that this kills the Thoctar)
One-sided Board Sweep: Nevinrryal's Disk + Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge = Keep your stuff but blow up your opponents. This really only deserves a mention because it's hilarious that you get to keep the disk.
Mill Combo:
A counterspell or kill spell + Junktroller + Jester's Cap (on the remaining copies of what was destroyed or countered) + Tunnel Vision = Mill combo.
Creature Combos: Serra Avatar/Armadillo Cloak
Every time Serra Avatar deals damage, your life total and the Serra Avatar's Power and toughness double (+2).
Guile + Dovescape + any noncreature spell = Arbitrarily large amount of tokens. Someone casts the spell, it gets countered and the controller gets birds. Then you get to recast the spell because it got countered. You stop when you have all the birds.
Mycosynth Lattice + Kill Switch + Unwinding Clock = This one's pretty simple but really annoys the hell out of everyone once it comes down. It's basically extremely bad Stasis lol.
Creature Stealing:
Use Fractured Loyalty with Simic Guildmage and any targeting ability like Neurok Commando or Serendib Sorcerer to steal opponent's creatures. Trigger Fractured Loyalty and with the trigger on the stack, use Simic Guildmage to move the aura to a new creature your opponent controls. You receive control of the old creature it was enchanted to and can continue doing so until your opponent removes the enchantment.
Get a +1/+1 counter on the Thoctar with those enchants on the field, then shoot the Thoctar with its ability so it gets 2 more from Rite+Doubling Season, and continue over and over until you can unload all the counters at the opponent's face (note that this kills the Thoctar)
Here is another one of my favorites: Serra Avatar/Armadillo Cloak
Every time Serra Avatar deals damage, your life total and the Serra Avatar's Power and toughness double (+2).
Mycosynth Lattice + Kill Switch + Unwinding Clock = This one's pretty simple but really annoys the hell out of everyone once it comes down. It's basically extremely bad Stasis lol.
I'm not delving into the Experiment Kraj Planeswalker ones, nope, not doing it lol.
One of my favorites used to teach some of the older players in my group about what last known information meant in Magic was using Fractured Loyalty with Simic Guildmage and any targeting ability like Neurok Commando or Serendib Sorcerer to steal opponent's creatures. Trigger Fractured Loyalty and with the trigger on the stack, use Simic Guildmage to move the aura to a new creature your opponent controls. You receive control of the old creature it was enchanted to and can continue doing so until your opponent removes the enchantment (which, of course, them destroying the enchantment while you have an ability to target the creature at instant speed will also give you the creature it's enchanted to). More info on this here just in case someone wants to argue.
Guile + Dovescape + any noncreature spell = Arbitrarily large amount of tokens. Someone casts the spell, it gets countered and the controller gets birds. Then you get to recast the spell because it got countered. You stop when you have all the birds.
A counterspell or kill spell + Junktroller + Jester's Cap (on the remaining copies of what was destroyed or countered) + Tunnel Vision = Mill combo.
Edit: Was going through my deckboxes and found some more today-
Reveillark + Body Double + Mirror Entity + Any creature with a comes onto the battlefield ability = Arbitrarily large amounts of life (Aven Riftwatcher), bounce your opponent's entire board back to their hand (Riftwing Cloudskate and Venser, Shaper Savant. Note that Venser can also bounce spells back to the opponent's hand), deal arbitrarily large amounts of damage (Murderous Redcap), etc.. In order to use this combo, you need to have Mirror Entity and either Body Double copying Reveillark or Reveillark in play, the remaining cards can be in the graveyard. Activate Mirror Entity's ability for 0 mana as many times as you want, we'll say 1,000 here, which will kill off your creatures in play due to having 0 toughness. Body Double/Reveillark goes to the graveyard, triggering Reveillark's leaves play ability which can bring back Body Double copying Reveillark and something like Murderous Redcap to deal 2 damage. They die, Body Double triggers Reveillark's ability again which brings himself (copying Reveillark) and the other 2 or less power creature back from the graveyard to do it again. Rinse and repeat until satisfied.
A sacrifice outlet + Reveillark + Phyrexian Metamorph = If Metamorph is copying Reveillark, you can sacrifice it to pull it plus another creature with power 2 or less out of your graveyard. If your sacrifice outlet doesn't tap (Viscera Seer, for example), then you can do this until you either scry into the cards you want or until you pull every 2 or less power creature out of your graveyard, or both. This also can go infinite if the sac outlet doesn't tap since you can just sacrifice the other creature; use Aven Riftwatcher for infinite life, you can return all of the cards in your graveyard to your hand if you have Eternal Witness, destroy all of your opponent's nonblack, nonartifact creatures with Nekrataal, etc.. Hell, you can actually use Kitchen Finks in this combination since you can cast the Metamorph as a copy of Finks, gain 2 life, sacrifice Metamorph and when it returns (due to Persist) you have it copy Reveillark, sacrifice it again and have it come back as a copy of Kitchen Finks for 2 life, repeat until satisfied.
Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania + 4 other elves + Staff of Domination = Infinite mana, cards and life.
Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek = Sacrifice the Sword to the Foundry, get a 1/1 token and 1 life while the Sword comes back to play to equip the 1/1 token. 1 mana spent = 1 token and 1 life. Add in Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks and you have infinite colorless mana, tokens and life. Add in Time Sieve and you have infinite turns once you hit 5 mana sources.
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite + Nature's Revolt = one sided Armageddon and they can't play and tap a land for mana until Elesh is removed due to state based effects. Speaking of Nature's Revolt... lol.
Some of the more well-known combos:
Necrotic Ooze + Phyrexian Devourer and Triskelion in your graveyard: Turn your deck into a pinging machine gun.
Necrotic Ooze + Devoted Druid and Quillspike in your graveyard = Pump the Ooze to be arbitrarily large for free.
But my favorite is Necrotic Ooze + Morselhoarder and either Devoted Druid or Barrenton Medic in graveyard = infinite mana of any color. Add any creature with an ability that only costs mana and can win the game if activated enough times (Oona, Queen of the Fae, Spikeshot Elder, Bloodrite Invoker) and you get an instant win combo. The beauty of this one is that you can set up the whole thing the instant the Ooze hits the table, without ever yielding priority (putting the -1/-1 counter on Necrotic Ooze is an activation cost, Morselhoarder's ability is a mana ability, and you can stack activations of the third part.)
Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead/Dance of the Dead + a land of you choice = Infinite mana. (Remember to have an instant spell with a x cost or you loop the game for infinity resulting in a draw)
Pestilence + Rite of Passage + any of your creatures with toughness >2 = kill all your opponent's creatures while swinging with huge creatures.
Pariah + Treacherous Link on one of your opponents' creatures = all damage dealt to you is dealt to the opponent instead. The creature also can't be killed with damage, making it hard to get rid of.
I like Intruder Alarm and Sprout Swarm; they can lead to infinite creatures thanks to convoke and buyback, although you need five green creatures to get it started. Essence Warden as one of them to get infinite life out of the deal, as well?
Cheers!

One of the greatest combos I had ever seen (& I want to make the deck for it), was the forced Hokey Pokey dance... aptly called "DO THE HOKEY POKEY OR DIE!!!"... I think it was based around Mindslaver and Knight of the Hokey Pokey and Donate. Isn't that the best?!?!?!
I remember an article a year or 2 ago from the main Mothership in which the combo had to deal w/ making an opponent lose infinite... one of the strangest, yet hilarious combos I had ever heard of. Can anyone find the article? What cards was in involving? I think Immortal Coil was one of them...
Izzet Guildmage + Desperate Ritual + Lava Spike
EDIT: Splice DR onto Lava Spike. You now have a sorcery spell that costs 1RR and reads "3, add RRR" on the stack. Use the generated mana to activate the guildmage ability.
EDIT 2: The deck I had that utilized this was my first ever and with my current understanding of the rules I don't think this works.
As the list grows, I will start to organize it into different combo types: infinite combo, damage combo, card drawing combo, etc.
I will start with a couple of my favorites:
Intruder Alarm / Thraben Doomsayer: unlimited 1/1 tokens.
Mind Over Matter / Quicksilver Dagger: you win the game as long as the number of cards in your library is greater than your opponent's life total.
Combo master list:
Instant Win Combo:
Phage the Untouchable + Endless Whispers + Innocent Blood = Your opponent loses the game in probably the funniest manner possible.
Necrotic Ooze + Morselhoarder and either Devoted Druid or Barrenton Medic in graveyard = infinite mana of any color. Add any creature with an ability that only costs mana and can win the game if activated enough times (Oona, Queen of the Fae, Spikeshot Elder, Bloodrite Invoker) and you get an instant win combo.
Mycosynth Lattice + Hellkite Tyrant (as featured in my Hellkite Tyrant deck :))
Give me all your stuff. "I win the game".
Turn Loop:
Walk the Aeons + Azusa, Lost but Seeking/Rites of Flourishing + Crucible of Worlds = As many turns as you want.
Mana, Card Drawing, and Life loop:
Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania + 4 other elves + Staff of Domination = Infinite mana, cards and life.
Creature Loop:
Intruder Alarm / Thraben Doomsayer: unlimited 1/1 tokens.
Pestermite/Deceiver Exarch+Splinter Twin/Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
Make a token of Exarch or Pestermite and copy it over and over, untapping the either itself with Twin or Kiki-Jiki for infinite hasty tokens.
I like Intruder Alarm and Sprout Swarm; they can lead to infinite creatures thanks to convoke and buyback, although you need five green creatures to get it started.
Damage Loop:
Mind Over Matter / Quicksilver Dagger: you win the game as long as the number of cards in your library is greater than your opponent's life total.
Infinite artifact damage combo:
Mortarpod + Brass Squire + Dross Scorpion + Summoning Station
Mana Loop:
Infinite mana combo:Axebane Guardian + Freed from the Real + 1 or more other //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[defender">"]defenders. Feel free to unload the mana into whatever you want.
Infinite mana combo:Tamiyo, the Moon Sage's ultimate + any spell that nets mana
or: Tamiyo + Manamorphose + //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[storm">"]storm spell/Laboratory Maniac
Pili-Pala and Grand Architect. 'Cause who doesn't want endless mana on turn 3 or 4?
Card Drawing Loop:
Fallowsage + Paradise Mantle + Freed from the Real = As many cards as you want.
One-sided Board Sweep:
Nevinrryal's Disk + Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge = Keep your stuff but blow up your opponents. This really only deserves a mention because it's hilarious that you get to keep the disk.
You can add Sudden Disappearance and Sundial of the Infinite in the 1-sided wipe section.
[CARD]
Mycosynth Lattice[/CARD] + overloaded Vandalblast is even another one-sided wipe.
Enchanted Evening + Calming Verse (provided you tap out in response to Verse.)
One-sided Creature and Land Sweep:
Nature's Revolt + Pestilence + something like Righteous War or Absolute Grace = Destroy opponent's lands and creatures alike
One-sided Creature Sweep:
Thicket Basilisk + Lure = one sided wrath
Destroy Permanents Combo:
Spine of Ish Sah + Priest of Yawgmoth + Mirran Spy = Destroy as many permanents as you want.
Life Gain Combo:
Reveillark + Body Double + Mirror Entity + Any creature with a comes onto the battlefield ability = Arbitrarily large amounts of life
Life Loss Combo:
Gravecrawler + Vengeful Dead + Phyrexian Altar = Arbitrarily large life loss
Mill Combo:
A counterspell or kill spell + Junktroller + Jester's Cap (on the remaining copies of what was destroyed or countered) + Tunnel Vision = Mill combo.
Leyline of the Void + Helm of Obedience = Mill combo
Keening Stone + Traumatize = Mill opponent's entire library
Creature Combos:
Serra Avatar/Armadillo Cloak
Every time Serra Avatar deals damage, your life total and the Serra Avatar's Power and toughness double (+2).
Guile + Dovescape + any noncreature spell = Arbitrarily large amount of tokens. Someone casts the spell, it gets countered and the controller gets birds. Then you get to recast the spell because it got countered. You stop when you have all the birds.
Damage Combos:
Mycosynth Lattice + Summoning Station + Blasting Station = Arbitrarily large amount of damage
Lockout Combos:
Mycosynth Lattice + March of the Machines = Landlocked. Unless a player has something like Veteran Armorer, or Glorious Anthem, their lands go to the graveyard as a state based effect because they have 0 toughness.
Mycosynth Lattice + Hurkyl's Recall = Reset a player to their very first turn. Best used during combat or at the end of turn step. Of course, there's also Shattering Spree or Darksteel Forge + Creeping Corrosion.
Mycosynth Lattice + Kill Switch + Unwinding Clock = This one's pretty simple but really annoys the hell out of everyone once it comes down. It's basically extremely bad Stasis lol.
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite + Nature's Revolt = one sided Armageddon and they can't play and tap a land for mana until Elesh is removed due to state based effects.
Nature's Revolt + Linvala, Keeper of Silence = Opponents can't tap their lands for mana.

Obligatory Pestermite/Deceiver Exarch+Splinter Twin/Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
Make a token of Exarch or Pestermite and copy it over and over, untapping the either itself with Twin or Kiki-Jiki for infinite hasty tokens.
Axebane Guardian + Freed from the Real + 1 or more other //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[defender">"]defenders. Feel free to unload the mana into whatever you want.
Tamiyo, the Moon Sage's ultimate + any spell that nets mana
or: Tamiyo + Manamorphose + //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[storm">"]storm spell/Laboratory Maniac
Infinite artifact damage combo:
Mortarpod + Brass Squire + Dross Scorpion + Summoning Station
I know you can do the same thing with blasting station and other cards, but this is my own invention.
Every time Serra Avatar deals damage, your life total and the Serra Avatar's Power and toughness double (+2).
Melira + any creature with Persist + Blasting Station or Murderous Redcap = Arbitrarily large amount of damage.
Melira + Kitchen Finks + Sacrifice outlet (Blasting Station, Viscera Seer, etc.) = Arbitrarily large amount of life
Mycosynth Lattice + Summoning Station + Blasting Station = Arbitrarily large amount of damage
Actually, Mycosynth Lattice works into a bunch of combos. Many are not infinite, just really freaking annoying:

Inferno Titan + Basilisk Collar is fun for the whole family. Ancient Hellkite costs more, but sweeping your opponent's field for R per is amusing. Of course, Goblin Sharpshooter + Basilisk Collar is better.
Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania + 4 other elves + Staff of Domination = Infinite mana, cards and life.
Earthcraft + Squirrel's Nest = ....
Phage the Untouchable + Endless Whispers + Innocent Blood = Your opponent loses the game in probably the funniest manner possible.
Leyline of the Void + Helm of Obedience = Mill combo
Gravecrawler + Vengeful Dead + Phyrexian Altar = Arbitrarily large life loss
Nevinrryal's Disk + Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge = Keep your stuff but blow up your opponents. This really only deserves a mention because it's hilarious that you get to keep the disk.
Walk the Aeons + Azusa, Lost but Seeking/Rites of Flourishing + Crucible of Worlds = As many turns as you want. My preferred method of finishing someone off once reaching the, "Going off" point was to pull every land out of my library and cast Nature's Revolt lol
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite + Nature's Revolt = one sided Armageddon and they can't play and tap a land for mana until Elesh is removed due to state based effects. Speaking of Nature's Revolt... lol.
Nature's Revolt + Linvala, Keeper of Silence = Opponents can't tap their lands for mana.
Nature's Revolt + Pestilence + something like Righteous War or Absolute Grace = Destroy opponent's lands and creatures alike

Ahh yes, that one is a classic. Just make sure when you attack, you also attack with your Jangling Automaton.
Give me all your stuff. "I win the game".
My YouTube Channel
Cheap Burn Combo: Spikeshot Goblin + Loxodon Warhammer Deal 4 damage and gain 4 life for R.
Zombie buff combo: Gravecrawler + Carrion Feeder
Faceless Butcher + Board Wipes. Allows you to save one of your own creatures from a board wipe, and establish a board presence immediately.
Blinkmoth Urn + Flameblast Dragon
Burn/Life Gain combo: Skirk Fire Marshal + Loxodon Warhammer
Memory Jar/Magus of the Jar+Megrim/Liliana's Caress = lots of damage, normally enough for a k.o.
Both of those combos are probably in the unfun section though, so use with caution.
Decks I play:
-Friedrich Nietzsche
Pariah + Treacherous Link on one of your opponents' creatures = all damage dealt to you is dealt to the opponent instead. The creature also can't be killed with damage, making it hard to get rid of.
Squee, Goblin Nabob + Solitary Confinement = keep confinement alive forever. You probably need a way to keep drawing cards, though.
Armageddon + Magus of the Tabernacle = destroy all lands and all creatures. If you have mana sources other than lands, you can keep your creatures.

There a lot of combos around Stuffy Doll. Here's my favorite: Stuffy Doll, Pyrohemia, & Pariah's Shield/Pariah. Throw in Shaman en-Kor to add insult to injury.

Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Alter + Mogg War Marshal = Infinite goblins, infinite colorless mana, infinite ETB and EGFB triggers.
Diregraf Captain + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Alter = Infinite Damage, infinite ETB and EGFB triggers.
Academy Rector + Fire Covenant + Near-Death Experience = Pay all but 1 life and kill Academy Rector and search for NDE during the end phase of your opponents turn to win the game on your upkeep.
Academy Rector + Kaervek's Spite + Barren Glory = Pretty much same set up as above except you sac everything.
Goblin Sharpshooter + Basilisk Collar = One sided board wipe (except indestructible and hexproof/shroud creatures).
Enduring Renewal + Goblin Bombardment + Kobolds of Kher Keep (or any 0cmc creature) = Infinite damage, infinite ETB triggers..
Transcendence + Leyline of Punishment = Unable to lose the game from life loss.
Nim Deathmantle + Coretapper + Magistrate's Scepter + four mana of any color = Infinite turns.
Isochron Scepter + Final Fortune + Sundial of the Infinite = Infinite turns.
And for my favourite combo:
Dark Ritual + Torpor Orb + Phyrexian Dreadnaught = Turn 1 badass.
And for the just the best combo ever:
Words of Wilding + Muragunda Petroglyphs + Kavu Lair + Ashnod's Alter + Leyline of Vitality + Hurricane = Bears, life, mana, and damage equal to the size of your deck.
Why not just go for Arcane Laboratory to keep it single color?
Or go with Rule of Law + Possibility Storm. This way, your opponent can't cast anything.
Thanks for spiderboy4 of High~Light_Studios for the kick ass avatar.
Thanks for DarkNightCavalier of HotPS for the exceptional signature.
Unwinding Clock and Grindclock= almost perfect multiplayer mill.
Grimoire of the dead plus any card with //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[madness">"]madness and Endless ranks of the dead = a good start for any complex combo.
