And here we go again. Even though my other lists aren't finished yet, I still got lots of ideas, nearly daily...here's another one:
WUBRG Modular +1/+1 Counters
The idea of this deck is pretty simple:
Get out Creatures, make them grow bigger, attack, win.
Also generate lots of +1/+1 Counters and use them for other things.
Modular is rather resistant against spot removal, as long as you got another creature to shift the Counters onto.
Long story short, here's my decklist-so-far, it still needs alot of cuts and maybe some better utility cards, but that's what I'm here for:
Hi all, first off would like to say thank you for such an amazing thread! Managed to pull a couple great ideas already.
In a look through my collection of cards I came across Mayael's Aria and got it in my head to make a deck with it as the win con. Would likely be looking at a control deck of some form. The challenge is the decks I usually play against are tribal (Elves, Goblins, Clerics, Allies, and Slivers) and a Dragon deck. Thrun, the Last Troll caught my eye as a possible addition.
Even a suggestion on an effective but unusual/unorthodox way to counter the Elves and Goblins would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time, and hope to see some more wild new deck lists in the future.
Edit: P.S. Budget its quite limited but I have a fair collection and LOTS of trade potential.
Definitely. It's just a bit hard to see exactly what you want. You mention a lot of effects but those effects don't make a deck. What kind of things do you like doing in magic and why? We can work from there.
Also, I have a MASSIVE backlog and very limited time right now, so the decks I make will be fewer and farther between. So, if you like making decks, feel froo to help out and post here too.

It's more a multicolored deck using tricky cards to break the tempo of the game and make any opponent watch out at every moment in the game cause most of the cards are used like instant to stop him and give me a creature if possible at the same time ...
If you added card with two/three effects like most cycling or charm cards, add card that revive another card or used as a tutor when they dies, I could be a really vicious deck ...
I gotta say that I'm a pretty big fan of what's going on here And I was wondering if you all, in your mighty knowledge, could give me a hand with solving a problem of mine.
I recently came into possession of a Fastbond and, as a very green player (Timmy/Spike :D), I really enjoy this card. I happen to play Magic every week in a large (30-40) person casual circle of every conceivable format, so Banned/Restricted lists aren't a concern.
My problem, essentially, is figuring out how to best use/abuse Fastbond. As we largely play multiplayer games, absolute balls-out aggro, whilst effective, also tends to get the player very dead, very fast...So I'm trying to stay away from Turn 3-4 kills in favor of creating a mid/late-game uber presence (a la all/most of my lands out) and the ability to cast about anything in the deck.
Because I don't want this deck to be so obviously busted good that no one wants to play against me when I take it out, I've decided to make this deck around 100 cards but it is NOT singleton. In fact, I definitely intend to run at least 2 Fastbonds (probably 4, though) to lend more starts with it. I also will be running 4x Gaea's Touch to back-up the Bond or pseudo-replace it if I don't draw it early.
Outside of that, I've looked at mono-green fat and have some beauties in mind, but I just don't know what to do to abuse Fastbond in a deck that will be running upwards of 40 land, conceivably. So...ideas on how to keep hitting land drops/abusing Fastbond (preferably without killing oneself) would be awesome. It doesn't need to stay mono-green, but I'd like the deck to be mostly green. Oh, and don't worry about budget. It's not that I can buy anything, but I have some solid trade credit built up with a local card store so I can probably get at least one copy of most things outside the power nine and other $100+ cards.
Hrm...this turned into a longer ramble than anticipated. Sorry. I hope that the collective ingenuity in here sparks some creativity of my own.
Perhaps you could help me with something when you get the chance. I've tried and tried but just can't seem to make a Kavu tribal deck that can at least hold it's own. I love kavu and want to make the strongest kavu deck possible.

Sure thing! Check out this article. Kavu are in there.
I was hoping you could help me out with a Standard legal Angel deck (legal after Sept. 30th) that I could play at FNM and have it be at least somewhat competitive. We don't know what angel stuff might be in Innistrad obviously, but that's ok I can always tweak it later.
I don't have any idea what a good sideboard would be. But the general idea of the deck is control the game until turn 5 when I can start bringing Angels in.
I only have 12 Angels in the deck right now because, generally drawing them early is bad, and I sort of like the card art a lot on these and not at all on the rest. Kind of a dumb constraint but there it is.
I've thought about having Lifelink in the deck because I can really be hurting by the time the game swings in my favor, but I am wary about taking out any control cards and Spirit Mantle is really good.
I'm very anxious to hear your thoughts on this, and thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I joined MTGS just for this thread.
Well, you could still always ask =) Also, keep in mind, we mostly do casual stuff. I can give you a basic deal, but then I would take it to the budget section of standard

I've got a playset of Inferno Titans lying around and was looking for something interesting to do with them. The current idea I had had for them was just R/G ramp but that felt a little boring to me. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
R/U would be interesting, some control with the titans to finish would be good against my friend (the guy I play against most, lots of combo and a decent amount of control in his decks). I'm also open to ideas for off-the-wall things, so pretty much anything but straight aggro would be something I'm looking for.
Thanks, Zephynoir, and yes, I'd like to stay away from infinite game-breaking combos unless they are stupid, fun, or stupidly fun. Being able to make enough mana to nail a genesis wave for the entire deck, for example. Fun, stupid, and stupidly fun.
Hey guys I'd like to see a workable deck based off of Zur's Weirding, Quiet Disrepair, and Future Sight. It'd be a control/Lockdown deck. It should also make use of such things as Jace's Erasure, Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar and the Dredge mechanic. At most it should be a Blue, Green, Black deck but tweek it however you see fit. Thanks!

That deck idea should be easy to get <<You could also pull out the titans(which would make me like you better) and throw in the 5 titans (which would be hilarious)

I'm fairly new to magic, and I'm trying to build a really strong custom deck. The people I play with are way experienced, and they always crush me. :(. They're nice and help out and offer suggestions, but I want to whip out a deck by surprise and return the favor.
Last time I dueled, I played against a white knight deck. Unfortunately he had cards that made all knights indestructible, have first strike/double strike, lifelink, etc. so I got destroyed.
What I'd like to do is build a deathtouch/lifelink deck to combat the above. Is that something you guys can help me out with?
I prefer playing with red, but it seems like in order to build a deathtouch deck I would have to switch to black and/or green, which is fine. I will just have to purchase more cards.
Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT: Also, what about building an indestructible deathtouch deck?

4 Vivid Grove
4 Urza's Tower
4 Urza's Mine
4 Urza's Power Plant
4 Mirrodin's Core
//Arcbound Creatures (14)
3 Arcbound Crusher
2 Arcbound Overseer
3 Arcbound Reclaimer
2 Arcbound Stinger
4 Arcbound Worker
//Other Artifact Creatures (6)
1 Triskelion
1 Pentavus
2 Steel Overseer
1 Spincrusher
1 Mindless Automaton
1 Mikaeus, the Lunarch
1 Animar, Soul of Elements
1 Mishra, Artificer Prodigy
2 Fungal Behemoth
1 Forgotten Ancient
1 Mephidross Vampire
1 Vigor
//Artifacts (12)
4 Energy Chamber
2 Blade of the Bloodchief
3 Expedition Map
3 Gemstone Array
1 Ajani Goldmane
//Other Spells (13)
2 Rite of Passage
2 Strength of the Tajuru
2 Quest for the Gemblades
1 Primal Cocoon
2 Predatory Hunger
3 Dismantle
Arcbound Ravager is out-of-question, not spending 20€ on a single card.
All in all I'd prefer to keep the cost of the deck under 30€/$ if possible.
Cockatrice is still going strong over at http://www.woogerworks.com[/B]

Axel - Would you mind using artifacts? There's an infinite combo with 2 for mana right now. If I can do that, your deck would have a shell like this
4x Palladium Myr
4x Myr Galvanizer
4x Copper Myr
2x Zuran Orb
2x Crucible of Worlds
4x Prophetic Prism
4x Preordain
4x Ponder
1x Emrakul, the Eons Torn
1x Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
1x Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
