I'm new to Magic, and some of my friends introduced me to it. So I bought the "Life For Death" New Phyrexia Intro Deck, and decided to add stuff to it. I'd like the deck to be effective and fun to use during casual play.
Rage Extractor is very nice, but it's something you build your deck around, and you don't take enough advantage of it to be useful. Fire Servant is better replaced by Furnace of Rath.
Thanks for the advice. Lava Axe has been failing me for a while now. What am I going to replace the Rage Extractors with? The Porcelain Leggionaires, Slash Panthers and Moltensteels depend on it. What am I going to replace them with?
Porcelain Legionnaire and Moltensteel Dragon are good cards in general and can be used in most decks because they're that useful. Slash Panther, not so much since it's only a 4/2 Haste for 5CMC or 4CMC+2life.
Rage extractors can be a great deck, but you would need to build around them and most every card in your deck would have the Phyrexian mana symbol in it. Plus, they tend to have a good amount of blue for draw spells. I recommend looking up Rage Extractor builds from Google to see if you want to go that route.
Another good precon deck you can get that is R/W is Battle Blitz. It uses a good amount of the {R/W} mana symbol and multicolored cards, so it's worth checking out for 12 bucks online.
Glorious Anthem is a relatively cheap global buff, and Holy Strength is your standard white enchantment buff. There are a lot of them out there, but you might be interested in using equipments like Trusty Machete because they are reusable... and they syngergize well with metalcraft.
The first question is: what parts of the deck are most fun for you? What strategies have proved most enjoyable? Answer that, and people can provide more useful information on how to focus the deck to work in a style you enjoy.
My favorite part of the deck is... when the weenies are attacking them while I'm burning the player itself. Pretty much I just keep the player distracted with the weenies and just burn them until they die.
I need more cheap artifact equipment buffers that are effective. Any suggestion?
For white red I almost always run Soltari Guerrillas, Spitemare and both of them are made to be enchanted with Scourge of the Nobilis. Both can be used as a sneaky way to clear creatures or deal damage to players. Also check out Soltari Guerrillas equipped with Kusari-Gama. Just attack with the guerrillas and any other creature, if the other creature becomes blocked you just redirect guerrillas damage to the blocking creature for a strange form of mass removal.
I'm going around looking for Lightning Helixes and Lightning Bolts. Apparently they're sold out. Considering Jor Kadeen too. I already got me some Trusty Machetes, Holy Strengths and Mighty Leaps. Also getting a set of Auriok Sunchaser and 2 Auriok Edgewright. Can't find Balefire Liege anywhere. D:
I would avoid cards which require two of one kind of mana, like White Knight and Leonin Skyhunter. These can be difficult to cast without the right kind of mana. I also recommend using Terramorphic Expanse or Evolving Wilds for color fixing, so you get the right color of mana when you need it.
Also, slightly off-topic... If you're new to Magic, you need to know that it is far more efficient to buy singles than boosters to get the cards that you want. Buying singles may seem more expensive when you can potentially get chase rares through boosters, but the latter is just like playing the lottery; most of the time you lose, and you have a tiny chance of getting something good.
Also, ordering cards online through a reputable dealer can save a lot of time and money, though you might get hit by shipping charges.

The drums! The drums! The drums! The neverending drumbeat! Open me, you human fool! Open the light and summon me and receive my majesty!
If you're going to run life gain with the white, try Searing Meditation. And if you don't mind splashing a little green in there, Tamanoa works well with a burn strategy. It also triggers Searing Meditation for an damage/life gain loop for as long as you have the mana for it.
If you're going the Galvanic Blast route and need more artifacts check out Spellbinder. It will go towards your metalcraft total and also let you do repeated Galvanic Blasts (or any other instant you choose) provided you have creatures that can reach your opponent's life points. An Etched Champion with an activated metalcraft effect might help you do that.

If you want to use Galvanic Blast, you'll want to focus on a more metalcraft heavy deck that includes the artifact lands like Ancient Den and Great Furnace as well as creatures like Spiraling Duelist, Auriok Edgewright, and Auriok Sunchaser.

It's a good start though.

Is Pennon Blade cheap and effective enough for your weenie hordes? Also, Signal Pest and other creatures with Battle Cry might be considered.
Cheers!
