I'm trying to create a sort of modern Fires of Yavimaya, and can't decide on what cards to include. Right now I'm thinking of making it R/G/W and including:

Not sure on which cards to cut or include, and the numbers of each. Basic premise is to drop big fatties like Blastoderm into play, hopefully with Anger/Brawn/Fires of Yavimaya online giving the creatures haste and/or trample in addition to their high power and shroud.
Arbor Elf is like Llanowar Elves except it can untap a forest with a mana enchantment on it.
Stampede Driver buffs while providing trample, but is also used a discard outlet for anger/brawn.
Shivan Wurm is a huge 7/7 trample for 5 that has the added benefit of bouncing a dying blastoderm to hand, or reloading counters on a Phantom Centaur, or reusing a Flametongue Kavu's blast one more time.
Contested Cliffs is useful for turning my 3 big beasts (blastoderm, calciderm, and thoctar) into 5 damage pingers.
What are your thoughts on this list of cards, and how would you build the deck - or what other suggestions do you have?

Saproling Burst? One of the best cards with Fires, in my opinion. I run four to top my list's mana curve, but you could also run Wurms/Dragons of some kind alongside it.
I think the rest of the curve really depends on how fast you want the deck to play out. I play 6 guys at 3 cost, and 8 at 4 cost, but none at 2. However, I play eight mana elves and 22 lands. If you play more lands, you can play more expensive guys, and if you play fewer elves you need some two drops.
If you want to use Anger, I would suggest using Wild Mongrel and playing some kind of RG Madness build. Arrogant Wurm and Reckless Wurm means there's plenty of good fat, but finding more discard outlets to supplement Mongrel might be difficult.
Anyway, this is my RG Fires build, just to give you an idea:
Since it's me, mine is a Tribal Kavu deck, rolling around recasting early dudes with it's kick cost, so you get a fast deck filled with beef dudes, abusing Fires.
You know, I had three different forms of this deck list when I started typing it up.. I had a more straightforward R/G fires deck with saproling burst. I also had a R/G madness build with basking rootwalla and wild mongrel (to dump anger/brawn to), and then I had one that bounced a lot of creatures back and forth like horned kavu and flametongue kavu with fires being in play.
I really can't decide which direction I would want to take it. Hmm..

Will Contested Cliffs work with Blastoderm or Caliderm? Since both of them have shroud, and it looks like Contested Cliffs targets.
You're right, it won't. I misread the card, though it said "choose a beast", similar to how ravenous baloth doesn't target.

I'd actually go with Greenweaver druid, over the Arbor Elf. And definitely try to include Ravenous Baloth. Rampaging Baloths wouldn't be bad either, coupled with either Plated Slagwurm or Kalonian Behemoth.
