2v2?
pentagram?
3v3?
emperor?
small ffa?
large ffa?
4v4?
Do you always play with the same people or is your pool of opponents larger than that?
I ask this out of general curiosity, but also because good advice for a deck that will see mostly 2v2 or pentagram often needs to be totally different than advice for a deck that will normally see a 6 player ffa. This is my first time posting and even reading this forum in years. Honestly because the advice I used to get here just did not match my groups version of multiplayer, so there just seemed like no point in asking.
Side note is there no way to log in other than twitch? I can't seem to find any way to use my old account.
I usually play 4 or 5 player FFA, or 2v2 but not 2-headed giant, just two people who are allied with each other. I most people refer to FFA because a lot of cards recommended here are "each opponent" cards, which are better the more opponents there are. So probably 4+ player FFA.
2v2 allied version
Someone knows some good resources for multiplayer decks like the well written primer here on this forum “multiplayer strategies guides by color” that unfortunately isn’t updated?
I cube exclusively with one group. It's a Powered cube and that group is cutthroat, we usually have a full 8, tempers have been known to fly
My other group is a 4 man FFA that is powerful in a very different way.
The two groups never crossover and the gameplay is radically different which makes both groups excellent to belong to.
Last group broke up, or burned out, or something, after many years. It was mostly FFA, anywhere from 4 to 8 players. Some Emperor here and there. And a home-brew tribal format that came and went with decent tribal sets.
I miss those guys. It's tough finding new groups for an old school old fart.
To those who have looked for new groups, what do you all do to find groups?
I play with a lot of different groups. We usually go FFA with groups of 3-5, and two-headed giant with groups of 6, just to speed up the game. I also like to play two-headed giant in groups with peaople new to the game, that way they have a partner who can teach them as they play.
In groups of 5 we sometimes play pentagram (although without the color rules restriction, just our normal decks), which I love for the interesting politics that it brings to the table.
I have a couple groups, usually between 3-5 players but occasionally more. Rarely play 2HG, will play Emperor if we have six.
We do dabble with Archenemy, Planechase, and other casual variants, but mostly stick to FFA.

And they’re old old friends.
(-:
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.

Of course, now were all social distancing.....
