Hello. I've lurked here for some time now, but this is my first time posting. Nice to meet you all!
I started playing Magic a couple of years ago. Most of my games are casual duels or multiplayer games. The thing is, my group has always played modern-legal cards, with some degree of freedom. More recently, some of my friends developed an interest in competitive modern, and have acquired more competitive lists, such as UW Control. They use these same decks in multiplayer games, so they aren't as good with multiple opponents.
Because I respect this decision, I am looking for some options on modern-legal, yet powerful decks. They don't need to be good in competitive modern.
Do you have any suggestions to these lists?
Do you build and play decks with the same restriction?
What are some of your ideas or lists for modern-legal decks?
To me both decks look playable.
I'd run more card draw, though.
In my meta we follow Vintage dckbuilding rules so I'm not sure what's Modern and what not.
The (sticky) guides can probably help there.

In magic there's Harry Dresden, Fizban, Sethra Lavode, Dorotea Senjak and me...
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
