Harmonize could get you the CA you want. If you are going to a tournament (I wouldn't recommend it at this point) you should probably run Umezawa's Jitte. He can be very versatile, and throws alot of options at you. Also, why legacy? Isn't the deck extended legal? Or is there some other reason i'm missing out on.
Wirewood pride, treetop scout, timberwatch elf, and sylvan messenger are all banned in extended.
Sorry, missed that. But, I don't think you should take it to a tournament just yet. If FNM is what you mean, then it'd be good to play other decks at the store etc. But if you're talking about a PTQ or anything higher than a FNM then I suggest you play test the deck some more against friends, so that you can figure out if any changes need to be made.
I've played elfs for a short while but stopped because it became too boring. My biggest finding was simply; screw boosters, win-conditions and such. Focus on playing as many elfs as humanly possible, so one wants draw, draw, draw, mana, mana, mana and so on. After enough play testing I would say, if you can't kill on turn four when playing without disruption, then you're doing it wrong. Second turn kills should be possible and third turn kills likely.
So this deck generates mana in two different steps, first with tap-elves but later on with Nettle Sentinel, Heritage Druid & Glimpse of Nature, which is the most important combo. Tap three elves for mana, preferably as many nettles as possible, play a elf, untap nettles, glimpse a card, tap nettles again, play another elf, untap nettles, glimpse a card and so on. Once everything is tapped, use a Ranger or Symbiote to untap. Once your hand is empty, replay Visionary and draw a card. Once you have enough elves in play, untap a Priest and gain more then enough mana.
The Crossroads mainly speed things up one turn, and is the best first turn drop.
Pacts, Chords and Canopys helps when the hand is empty, but is mainly a backup plan.
Striders, Callers and Eladamri helps to ensure a win, even you fail to kill the same turn as you combo'ed with Glimpse.
Just alittle warning, this deck is pretty cheap to build but you and your friends will find it epicly boring to play. I tend mostly to sport it in 4 or 6 player casual all-vs-all to see if I can possibly kill everyone in turn 3-4, then everyone hates me and kill me first. :-(
The entire deck is based around playing Wild Pair, Skullclamp and tons of little 1/1 elves. The point is to have a TON of acceleration to play as many elves as possible in a turn. After I'm happy with my army dropping Coat of Arms is usually GG. Concordant Crossroads can easily be placed into this deck to up its power since being able to pull out HASTED Priest of Titanias would be ridiculous. Essentially, as long as this deck has mana it can continue to play elves over and over and over and over.
-2 Elvish Eulogist
+2 Caller of the Claw
Maybe a judgment call, but if you find your meta is laden with Wrath of God and various other sweepers these critters are never a bad choice. If you REALLY want lifegain (ex. in multiplayer) Wellwisher is likely the surperior choice since it'll net you a ton of life every turn.
To echo the previous poster: "Overrun, Garruk Wildspeaker and Coat of Arms are good game Enders." They provide evasion (trample) or MASS pump (Coat of Arms). I'd consider maybe squeezing some of them in.
I plan on replacing the elvish eulogist with Joraga Warcaller.I kind of only want Nissa in the deck and its wincon has worked every time i've played it.Just need ways to have it every game and work faster.
(sorry for the double post earlier i really didnt mean it.)Is there any way i can make this deck WAY lower on burning my wallet without losing the power?
how does it come I don't take your excuse for serious? infraction for doublepost given.
I don't merge this with the upperpost, becasue the previous post's warning should be updated to an infraction for editing after moderation. PM to Annorax is sent.
Looks much more budget friendly. From here I'd just make a few tiny changes which are well within budget:
If you want lifegain I'd drop 2x Elvish Eulogist for 2x Wellwisher. The Eulogist, in my mind, is sideboard material at best if at all. It requires you to sac it, so outside of some crazy reanimation engine it won't yield any real long term benefits whereas Wellwisher will, especially considering that you can untap it with Wirewood lodge.
I'd cut the Coat of Arms for one more Overrun. Coat helps your opponent, unless you have more creatures its no good, and if you have more creatures, you've probably won anyway. Coat is a win-more card: unnecessary.

Phantasmagoraphobia: (noun) The fear of the immensity of the spirit world.
-4 elvish promonade - this card says win more. if you have alot of elves, now you have more. if you have no elves, well your screwed.
+2 hunting triad, +2 gilt-leaf ambush - all just better than promonade.
-4 harmonize - this is good, but i have something better
+4 sylvan messenger - if you play fewer lands, this basically is harmonize, on a body. if you run more forests/non-elf spells, then messenger gets significantly worse.
+4 fyndhorn elf - llanowar 5-8 is better than forest.
-4 wirewood herald - not a fan of this guy, just feels really bad
+4 priest of titania - moar! very not budget friendly though
I like the promenade because it doubles my elves after getting so many tokens in play and i like forests over llanowar because it can tap as soon as in play but good suggestion.i did reduce the promenade and add sylvan messenger over harmonize. The heralds are good enough for me and if i added priest of titania its a little priceyAnyone else got some suggestions?
Please dont mark this as a double post. The rule for it is kind of improper and is in need of work in my eyes.I know i recieved an infraction but i kind of just want some help on my deck not to raise my posts. After i get 1 ok on this is good.im done with the thread. You do a good job blut but i really dont wanna be banned or anything else.I hope you understand and dont ban me.You may not take this seriously but please,do.
If you don't listen to a warning and an infraction, I can't help you. Doublepost merged and infracted.
I've been working on an elf deck for multiplayer (and SOME single player). It needs some final edits.
OTHER DECKS: Elves, other elves, weird affinity (runs winter orb/ this lock of ethersworn cannonist and something else...) and some other decks
