Well it was pretty much because of my friends, I got a few extra Slivers but all are foil, most from the Sliver Promo deck. The Traumatize was to annoy my friend i will readjust the list
I recommend you play 2 or 3 colors, to stay on budget and avoid mana problems. bant Slivers (:symu::symw::symg:) or naya slivers (:symw::symg::symr:) works well.
you should reduce your mana curve, there are so much on 5 cmc
with winged + crypt you dont need shifting, also drop others useless high cmc slivers like dementia and synchronous, you dont need basal too
winged + crypt give all you need to block and survive
slivers that are nice for your deck and isnt in your list Hibernation Sliver - if you dont face so much trample that was a nice sliver, you block a big attacker and lose only 2 life, also he helps to save important slivers
Mindlash Sliver - must in for any mono B or Bx deck, he can help to slow aggro and burn decks with the discard
Toxin Sliver - another powerful sliver with crypt sliver
if synapse is the bomb for your deck (i mean after the other high cmc be dropped from the deck) you can run 2
diabolic vision is good, but isnt nice since isnt at instant
yah, dementia need build around, maybe with Faces of the Past
I've been interested in building a practical sliver deck for a while. By practical I mean with other things besides just slivers help me find some cool lands and instants and sorcery to throw on here. This is my base
1 thing I really want with artifacts or enchantments is the ability to sift through my library or draw cards to my hand. Slivers always burn your hand out quick. I have most of my slivers costing less than 3 mana and only 1 sliver at 3 slots at 5. i do not want to incorporate blue or black.
Thanks for the help!
I do apologize in advance for the way this posting looks im new to this site but ive been playing slivers since tempest and fell in love with their play style easy to pick up but there are infinite ways to play them you can go for what i like to call hordes (lots of monsters ,little utility) or very stylized loadout. i like the former but the way i play is eat hits for the little guys and by turn 2-3 you have a plethora of bigger waylayers to have at the opposition im used to having matches against mono blue and a whole lotta red and blue players but the slivers worst nightmare is(well for me at the time when i got back into the game about time spiral) is the boros decks of yore.they were way to fast for a sliver deck....
Ok now the spells(my first post and i still have yet to understand how to get it back in the deck box) i want a machanic that utilizes4xFling ,3xOverwhelming Stampede and probably 2xLiving Death (just for those pesky wipe off spells) any help with the mana and anything else you think i should change or reduce would be greatly appreciated.
just to clarify, if you want to use fling, stampede and living death, i think you should run only 3 colors (the color of these spells) its okay for you ?

Well since its living death is the only card thats black couldnt i just use gemhide as i really like red green white for an aggro, is there any cards old or new that has the same capacity as living death in those colors?
The reason why this kinda deck came to mind is that when i usta fight goblins they loved that fling but it was rarely a winning shot; with slivers those little guys get way to big to pass it up

okay, since its casual, what you think about something like that:
I know Crystalline Sliver is the best sliver and I used to play Counterslivers however I wanted to make use of some of my other Slivers. I am quite fond of Darkheart and Sedge since they are reflections of old cards I liked playing.
So I built Jund Slivers to make use of them. From a casual point of view it does need Dual/shock lands to work as you need actual Swamps so it can be a bit expensive if you do not already have them. My Aether Vial's are in other decks but apart from that comments for improvement are welcome.
you can run duress or raven's crime in place of inquisition
i dont think you need toxin sliver, maybe you can drop him for other magma sliver
spined bonus stack, with 2 spined on board if your sliver be blocked he will get +2/+2, and if you have two headed, the bonus will be +4/+4
if you go out of the infect path, drop triumph and put overrun, drop virulent and put hunter sliver, just think about spined, two headed and hunter working together
abrupt decay can be droped for maelstrom pulse if you can, or drop beast in place of decay for pulse, but not 4 pulse
since you dont have a land tutor, you should run 3 groves and 4 fire to make the punishing engine work
for the lands, the shock arent the best option here, if you cant get the old duals, you can increase the fetch and basics
bom that was the tips, but always do some tests ^^
looks cool, after some test tell us if worked nice !!
i think Garruk can be a nice support for sliver, but maybe liliana of the veil can shine too in a jund deck.
Been reading the forums for a while, lurking of course. Basically just starting to play again. (Ice Age/Homelands seems new to me still Anyway, playing this Sliver deck below. Playing some proxies at this point though willing to buy once it's solid. It's worked well so far playtesting it. My biggest question -
1. Creatures - based is good I think, what about Changeling Titan or specialty slivers? What do you guys think for finishers (other than just the normal slivers getting big late game)
2. Sorcery/Instant - Eladarmi's Call pulls me Sliver Legion, Swords to Plowshares not totally sold on because of the life gain.... (deck tends to win late)
3. Mana Base - I own the two tropical islands but I don't have the $$ to get more. Vault of the Archangel I'm not sure about. Maybe some Gemstone Mines?
Anyway, I'd appreciate the feedback. Hope this all posts in the correct format. Thanks in advance!
I see that the deck format isn't ideal....looking around on the forum to find the directions, if someone beats me to it thanks. It's not that easy to find!
Vault of the Archangel seems bad since you have to have Gemhide or both a Ziggurat and Reflecting Pool out to generate Black Mana. Most of the time you want to be attacking so you will not have Gemhide's around to tap for mana.
Do you actually own the Eladamri's Call or are they Proxy cards? If not you might want to look at Living Wish; it costs about the same (in cash and mana cost) and you can have your larger creatures in the sideboard without worrying about drawing them when you do not need them.
Swords is the best kill spell you can get but you can use Path to Exile instead if you want? Beast Within and Harmonic Sliver gives you an answer to Artifacts/Enchantments.
Virulent Sliver would give you a turn one play an alternative win condition. You really need some fetch lands (Misty Rainforest, Verdant Catacombs) to make Brainstorm good.
I like the suggestions....I'm a little wary of playing the deck without Sliver Legion as it's been a big finisher for me. I've also gotten serious crap for any type of poison counter cards (Virulent Sliver, Triumph of the Hordes, etc) Any feedback on those two thoughts?
most of Lyracian tips will work for you
like you need more fetchs or shuffle effects to make brainstorm good
vault isnt that good
you can use wish to get legion in the sideboard
titan is fun, but not good, works nice to stop Dormant Sliver lock
When I got back into Magic a few months ago it was on the backbone of Slivers. I played during Rath/Urza blocks; always liked them then but never made a deck. My sister's fiancé gave me all his slivers (he hates them) and I started from there...but I digress. This is the deck I have right now (lands are proxy for now so those are flexible but trying to keep them cheap).
Some changes I want to make;
2x Victual Sliver -> 2x Darkheart Sliver
I also want to add in;
2x Dormant Sliver
4x Overrun
I'm not sure what cards I would take out.
Eventually I also plan to remove the Overlord and Queen and make an infinite deck using the Queen + Mana Echoes + Acidic Sliver. Not sure what else I would put in that deck; any ideas would be cool.

Thanks for the concise advice - I'm going to combine your/Lyracian's ideas and do some playtesting, probably this Friday. Living Wish seems pretty awesome (in other decks also). The land advice is good too, going to stay away from some of those strictly based on price, but I agree with the feedback. I'll try and repost with that I used and how it did.
All of the wish cards are fantastic in Casual; Official ruling is - it's anything in your collection! Good times. Especially if you only have one of a card; run 4 of the wish. I may even look into it.

i dislike only creature decks, but i think i try something like that, for sure if you can get sliver legion, you should give a spot for him.
other point, you need some support spells, since you dont run removals, some CA will be good.
also a five color decks needs lands, for sure more than 20th lands, if you can drop the worst lands and get better ones to fix colors.
you should drop the weak slivers and increase the best ones, also you should get the pump slivers (the white one, since you have the green).
That's an interesting list. I have to be honest; I dislike the common Ravnica lands as they come in tapped AND cause you to return a land to hand; yes you can tap the land for mana before doing so but it basically makes the land drop that turn a waste. Having one set that come in tapped is more then enough. Also; I never run more then 20 lands, just a personal belief.
Also; I believe leaving out Gemhide Sliver is a waste. Especially in a 5 colour deck. Those combine with Heart Sliver have allowed me to drop 3-4 slivers a turn.
I do like Descendent's Path however, and will likely look into it. Ponder I can only run one; my meta plays by Vintage rulings. I could run Brainstorm as well as a couple of Preordain.
Sliver Legion is great but more costly then I want to spend on one card for this deck; that's actually why I may drop the Thran Quarry. I'd rather not put too much more into this deck (other then lands) as it doesn't get played much any more; not because it's not effective, I just want different stuff.
I appreciate the advice and will give it some though; thanks.
rav lands dont slow your mana, that land give 2 manas, but the best move its to return the gemstone mine to get the counters again ^^
you can use the lair lands too
with rav
t1 - 1 land - 1 mana
t2 - 1 rav land - 1 mana
t3 - 1 land, 1 rav land - 3 mana
with only basic
t1 - 1 b.land - 1 mana
t2 - 1 b.land - 2 mana
t3 - 1 b.land - 3 mana
My point is they do not give you mana the turn they come out; but cannot enter the field until turn 2. At least the Coliseum can come in turn 1 and taps for any colour when I need it.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and my personal opinion is I'm not a fan. n all honestly, if I played this deck more I'd spend the money and avoid ANY land that comes in tapped.
Don't take it the wrong way; I appreciate your ideas, I just disagree with the land choices.
its okay, we are here to brainstorm our ideas and find better setup, using your mana base i will say what i think about your meta, if you want to try to setup better the mana just say if im correct in the points.
20th lands - your meta is casual and slow, or your playgroup use soft muligan to get nice hands, since 20 lands in a 5 color deck isnt nice.
Ancient Ziggurat - that land is perfect for creature heavy, its ok for me (our the casual meta i play)
Meteor Crater - slow mana fix, locked mana fix, you dont run soo much colored cards, the fix with this land is slow, and in your case, if you dont have creatures in play, the land gives only colorless mana, your playgroup dont play soo much removal (spot or mass) since its a "color permanent" dependent
Exotic Orchard - only works if you play a lot of multiplayer games or most of the decks on your playgroup have two or more colors, if yes, its a nice land
Thran Quarry - same as meteor crater, more strong on color, more weak on the downside, if you playgroup dont use a lot of spot removal or mass removal a very nice choice
Grand Coliseum - i got your point on that, i think its the best any color land under $2
Good to hear man. I just know some people on forums (here and others) can be overly sensitive if people aren't sickeningly sweet in every response, lol. I don't like to offend people either though.
As far as your points;
Play-Group - Casual only; speed wise - I and only one other person tend to build fast decks so it's usually not an issue. Ziggurat - Agreed. Crater- Each person only has (usually) one deck with decent removal and I probably wouldn't play Slivers against those decks anyway. Orchard - This deck will be mostly for multi-player; even so most people in my meta run a few 2-colour (or more) decks. Quarry - has it's weaknesses but is a heaper 5 colour land. Coliseum - It's a cost issue.
I'm not saying this deck couldn't be improved; as the lands will be the last things I purchase I may balance out the mana-curve and run a few duals that cover the most required colours in the deck. Use only 2 playsets of 5-colour lands.
Well it was pretty much because of my friends, I got a few extra Slivers but all are foil, most from the Sliver Promo deck. The Traumatize was to annoy my friend i will readjust the list
I actually never really run into mana problems. Only times I do is when my opponent has a way to kill lands. I will look at those, Thanks!

As far as your points;
