since damage doesnt go more to stack, that move becomes so bad, a competitive deck go for the phantasmal image counter sliver deck, but there are a lot of ways to do.
i dont get why essence and gemhide is on the deck, more support spells will make the deck better, in the other way, for some fun stack moves, you need essence and hibernation sliver, so that call for a sper color deck
Essence is only there because I have not come up with anything else yet. Gemhide is there for color fixing, especially since I just removed the Aether vials to put in another deck. Support spells are what I am looking for, primarily card advantage, tempo and some denial for wrath effects.
The colors I plan to keep as they are though. Muscle/Sinew/Winged are the backbone of the deck, and popping out legion on turn 3-4 usually means GG if they cannot answer, hence the gemhides. Theoretically I can up prismatic omen count provided I can find the bloody things for trade but both are CMC 2, so I am unsure if it gains me anything.
With vial gone, I find myself sorely lacking in the CMC 1 category, especially given a 3 color base. I am thinking something like spell pierce or dispel to deal with pesky combos or vapor snag for those cheat a fatty into play type decks, especially since it can also deal with utility dudes long enough to swing or remove blockers for the same.
Ok, So I have come across two of the sliver foil decks, both of which are complete. I'm working on combining them to make one 60 card super sliver deck. Thing is I've never played with sliver's before, and I'm looking for suggestions on what to pull from one to combine in the other.
The only slivers I have are the ones that are in these two sliver decks. I have a nice collection of magic cards, about 5000 cards that I can pull from if I need to add to it.
Anybody have some suggestions? I don't know if two sliver overlords would be a great idea, since its a legend, but I know I want to do two winged slivers along with two Amoeboid Changelings. Any advice on how best to combine two foil sliver decks?
Edit: Also, would it be best to stay all colors? Or to whittle it down to say 2 or 3, and the land base is something I'm having trouble with.

if you go for vial, there are some good slivers to use sidewinder sliver - flanking stack, what is good for aggro plated sliver - more protection versus burn virulent sliver - alternate wincon

before we start, could you list your lands that give more than one color ?
like alara tri color lands or others ?
with that we can choose the colors, but the basic will be 3 colors, GW plus one more, can be U.
Another list that can help us will be the one/two mana spells you have, like duress, lightning bolt, brainstorm and others, check the first post for the other color cards, and check if you have some of these cards
I was considering many of the more powerful and costly Slivers, Magma Sliver and Fury Sliver, but I don't think they'd fit in as well. One of the main points is the Two-Headed/Spined/Sidewinder Sliver, making people less likely to want to block.
EDIT: I do want to add Infiltration Lens as a drawing mechanic, but I don't know what to take out, and I don't want to have more than the minimum amount of cards for the deck.
I have been doing some searching and I have been unable to find any G/B Sliver decks around, I have yet to test this deck because I lack some slivers however this is a rough draft of what it will be.
The Winning Strategy of the deck is to have Fungus Sliver our with Pestilence, and turn by turn deal damage to all creatures and players with pestilence growing my slivers, and if I have exquisite blood out, ill be gaining life with pestilence ( I often play multilayer)
The quick slivers are there mainly to save my pestilence from a Damnation just so there`s a creature by the end of turn.
Also if I do have the Exquisite Blood and Pestilence I may be able to just tap enough swamps( or slivers if I have Gemhide) and if I have Mana Reflection it could be thaat much easier to just tap a lot of mana and kill everyone else that way, or at least boost my life a lot.
I have yet to test the deck, but theoretically this sounds like it would work, I know that it will definitely be slow considering its a sliver deck. Any opinions
? suggestions?
You're playing black, so why not add Demonic and/or Vampiric Tutor to find your combo pieces. Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth could be pretty useful for activating Pestilence, or at least some duals for consistency. Woodland Cemetary is decently cheap for what it does.
Also, Rite of Passage could be used along side Fungus Sliver to ensure that you have what you need when you need it.
o, hahaha I am missing 2 spells, well i guess i could use those spots for right of passage hahaha, thanks a lot tho
on a side note, would the [/CARD]Fungus Sliver[/CARD]'s abiility stack with another Fungus Sliver?? same with Spined Sliver. I know spined sliver isn't but its in another one of mine and I dont want to start another thread just for it.
Gatherer Card Rulings?, Legality?
•10/4/2004: If two Spined Slivers are on the battlefield then each blocked sliver gets +2/+2 for each creature blocking it.
This severely limits what use he can get out of Crypt Sliver. If you want protection for your slivers you should be in white/blue for cards such as Ward Sliver and Crystalline Sliver, and even then you'll have to build your deck around the fact that they have hexproof.

the tutors help you to find only the piece you need to the combo, noxious can recover any card that you need (or save a pestilence), unearth help you to cast dead slivers that you need mid game, patriarch can be a alternate win, like exquisite blood are.
darkheart can help a early survival and to reduce the pestilence impact
This was originally going to be W/U based around Crystalline Sliver and Shifting Sliver but after I saw some of the great red cards that could be harnessed, I swapped to W/R. Standard, straightforward beatdown.
Any ways to make this even faster? Cryptic Gateway is interesting, but hardly seems worth it. I might like to try to make a place for a card like Fortify though, seems very useful and flexible. Cards like Trumpet Blast could also be worth a look.

for fast you need lower mana curve and better slivers
that was my suggestion:
two headed sliver give evasion that you need at 2 cmc, oblivion ring can remove the artifact and enchants that hurts you, browbeat in a aggro deck help, even if the choice is better for your op, draw or damage always help aggro, one slayer, since that land eats 3 mana, and doesnt help at start, battlefield forge can be changed for any other better dual color land
magma sliver is the best damager in red for sliver
some of suggestions are on budget, you can change for better options
I'd swap Crystalline with Root. Also would drop 1 Necrotic for one Shifting. Those can win games for you. Maybe look into Sliver Legion and Sliver Overlord as well?
for mana, drop thran, its too weak, drop the shard land and do some tests but i think u can drop the ziggurat too, 4 pool and 4 cavern can do the job at golden mana for the creatures, the other slots use fetchs and duals, lantern its a EDH card for me.
drop the weak slivers for better ones, metallic is useless, you can put any other 1cmc sliver here, the pump slivers should come, 4 sinew and 4 muscle sliver, shadow is meh, 3 winged sliver and 1 shifting sliver, or 4 winged, if you stay on equips, you dont need to use crystalline, but i think you should drop the equips and run 4 crystalline, but if equips stay on SB, run 4 crystalline on maindeck and if you need the equips, swap with the crystallines, change the homing sliver for demonic tutor, he can search for everycard, not only the slivers, mana echoes is slow, add training grounds if you wanna combo, grounds + basal sliver do the job, dont use coat of arms, its a pain if u face other tribals, use sliver legion
I recommend you play 2 or 3 colors, to stay on budget and avoid mana problems. bant Slivers (:symu::symw::symg:) or naya slivers (:symw::symg::symr:) works well.

with bant colors, there are some cool spells to use, like swords to plowshares, mental misstep, brainstorm, other counters or removals

dunno what is your budget, but some "CA" for your deck:
you are right, dont go for the heavy slivers if you want to kill with ultimatum
another creature options
i think quick and homing sliver arent good for your deck

I am in your [PACK]. Watching you... do... something.
I recommend you play 2 or 3 colors, to stay on budget and avoid mana problems. bant Slivers (:symu::symw::symg:) or naya slivers (:symw::symg::symr:) works well.
Bant offers crystalline Sliver, winged sliver and the counter and draw package
Naya offers magma sliver not to mention all the burn stuff
2 colors: :symw::symu: if you like control, :symw::symg: or :symg::symr: if you prefer aggro.
