I think, the best follow up would be something, that lets you get even further ahead. Vampires like Garza Zol, Plague Queen, or The Haunt of Hightower let you recur the card disadvantage of Dark Ritual (Garza even on the same turn), and accumulate card advantage from then on. Anowon, the Ruin Sage and Vona, Butcher of Magan make it even harder to keep up until they get removed. And Nirkana Revenant gives you the mana to play other higher costed vampires normally to put even more pressure on the opponent. Or simply focus on getting something extremely big, like Blood Baron of Vizkopa, which also protects itself very well due to double protection against two colors with commonly used prime removal.
As for how viable this is? Well, you need two specific cards and one less specific one in your opening hand to pull this off, so this won't happen too often.
So, paired with Dark Ritual is this as good as it looks, or am I wasting $40 buying a playset of these Sorins?
Anyone playing this, and what's your favorite larger vamp to drop with this Sorin on T1?
