I was digging through some old boxes of magic cards the other day and stumbles across Final Fortune. Of course some of the obvious combos like Isochron Scepter and Platinum Angel came to mind however I had a another idea that I was wondering about. Is it possible to get my opponent to cast or suffer the negative effect of Final Fortune? I know that cards such as Redirect will not work, so with the wording of Final Fortune can this be done??
This is a strategy question and not a rules question, and as such not really appropriate here.
One scenario using only cards in your own library: You can Donate a Scion of Darkness to an opponent with a Diluvian Primordial and Final Fortune in your graveyard, then Mindslaver that player, forcing them to attack you and target the Primordial with the Scion's triggered ability when it deals combat damage to you, and target the Fortune with the Primordial's enters-the-battlefield triggered ability.
Moved to Casual&Multiplayer since this is isn't a rules question.

I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
I can tell you it's very difficult to get an opponent to resolve a spell you own, and that's what's needed here. The word 'you' on Final Fortune refers to the spell's controller. No Donate exists for spells that I ever heard. With the work you'd put in to make someone cast a spell of your choice from outside their own deck, you could do far better playing straight.
Something like Eye of the Storm, but you still need fodder and you aren't compelling the opponent to cast into it. FF is just insurance for some other Eye combo.
edit: see, Eye doesn't even force players to cast the cards. Maybe Hive Mind?

This is a really interesting combo that I would honestly love to try and get off in a match. Only problem is that with all the high mana cost cards it may be hard to survive the extra turn that is given to the opponent.
Even hive mind doesn't really work without a sundial of the infinite or Stifle type effect. The final fortune you cast goes on the stack, the opponents copy it and put theirs on the stack in APNAP order. Theirs resolve, and your's resolves last meaning you get the first extra turn.
Also, note that even if you want to counter the triggered ability, you have to make sure not to use a counter that could also hit a spell like voidslime. If you do the hivemind will copy the counter and allow them to stop your counter from resolving.
Your deck idea is interesting but your opponent could win the game with a Swords to Plowshare or an Unsummon if you dont protect your Gideon well. Might be interesting to play Steely Resolve but that would require to add another color. Privileged Position does not require another color but it costs 5 to play which is a lot in this deck.
Angel's Grace could be an emergency card to get your out of trouble. You can run Fork and Reverberate for added extra turns. You can also play Pact of Negation as added protection assuming you have the money to get these cards. The other pacts might be interesting to play as well but nowhere as useful as the blue one.
