Anybody working on some fun ideas for Mary O’Kill decks?
I’m thinking a ninja type deck with some artifact synergies to make the killbots better and some sorta disruption.
Best idea I can think of is using it with grand calcutron and X to be able to get around grand calcutrons program restriction. And X of course for the Combo.
All of my cards are standard but I’m willing to dip into modern as long as it’s budget. I’ll post a decklist soon when I get a working list.
It’s really a shame she doesn’t function at all in Commander but what can ya do?
I'd look for effects that trigger when a creature enters the battlefield under your control. Mart's ability is basically a way to get a turn 3 5/5, it would be nice if it were more than that. As cool as Calcutron would be, the mana inconsistency from being 4 color is probably not worth it. Black card draw would be better.

Her ability doesn't trigger ETB effects, so none of those cards do anything for the switching. They would trigger for the killbots initial casts though.

Wow that's a strange ruling. Exchanging life totals is considered gaining or losing life, but "switching" creatures does not involve entering or leaving the battlefield? Talk about inconsistent.
Re-reading the card makes me think that +1/+1 counters, equipment and auras might be really good here though.

It's an Un-Set. That's kind of the point, it breaks the regular mechanic. It also keeps everything that is targeting the switch target, like if someone uses a kill spell on Mary and you switch it with a Killbot, it'll keep the Killbot as the target and resolve. Equipment stays equipped, auras, etc.
