After Amonkhet and new Commander there are plenty new cats too choose from, nothing game breaking but I think this is the time we can possibly make something casual competetive out of cats.
Has anyone of you have tried to set some deck? If so, please share in this thread, I cant figure out the correct way to play cats, should I use artifacts or no? Should I play them more aggro or midrange?
I will post some sample deck later as I will decide which gamestyle should I pick.
I made my cat deck before the commander set came out so I'm not sure how relevant it is anymore but it's still a fun deck. The deck focuses mostly around Kemba, Kha Regent and several 0-cost equipment. The only non-cat creatures in the deck are a playset of Puresteel Paladin and three Sram, Senior Edificer. With these guys out, you can dump a ton of equipment onto the battlefield quickly to power up Kemba.
The key equipment here is Konda's Banner. This is especially great with both Kemba and Brimaz, King of Oreskos. The other great non-0 costing equipment is Lightning Greaves. Using this in combination with Leonin Shikari protects all your creatures from any targeted removal.
My deck was mono white mostly because I wanted to use a lot of man-lands such as Mishra's Factory and Blinkmoth Nexus to help with metalcraft, but a lighter equipment focus would allow you to use green and use some of the newer cards from commander.
Feel free to change some things around to make room for some removal. I tend not to really use much in my decks but it definitely couldn't hurt to at least have something. I'm still in the process of playtesting and fine-tuning the deck myself so things might not be quite ideal but at least it can give you a general idea to build around. Hope this helps.
The only reason that I'm using it is to more easily have metalcraft for Puresteel Paladin. I'm still not sure if it's really necessary, but I figured I'd try it out.

With all these free equipment in play, Inspiring Statuary can be really helpful at generating a ton of mana to pay equip costs or power out Raksha Golden Cub or Regal Caracal.
