After some friends started discovering and playing MTG, I decided to dust off the remnants of my old collection (again) and build some decks to start playing again. I'm not fond of the new stuff that's been released since I stopped playing (which was the Onslaught cycle), but hope I might still be a force to be reckoned with, although the power level of the newer cards seems to be way higher than most of the older ones.
Anyway, would love to hear some feedback on my Dromar Control deck:
In general, it's not bad as is. Though, new cards can make it better. Lobotomy, if it's not a pet card, could be anything else.. even Surgical Extraction. If it is a pet card, I can share with you a deck of mine built around it so that you may be introduced to some newer cards.
Otherwise, this color combination is now refered to as 'Esper'. One of the shards color identity from the Alara block. Knowing that alone, giving you some crumbs to follow, should be enough for you to see newer cards.
Edit, here is my take on lobotomy using recent cards.
From the games I've played (1v1) I never really had the need to go for board wipers, because my opponent didn't really have a board at any time due to counters and bounces - but Vindicate is indeed a neat idea, will have a look on how to include it!
I also like the idea of going straight for U/B - since I'm only playing Dromar and his Charm requiring white (and the two familiars...), I could cut white altogether and have a way more efficient mana base... If I just wouldn't love the flavour of those Invasion Dragons so, so much...
EDIT:
Did some slight changes with the cards I have so far.
On second thought, Desolation Angel sounds like an insane win condition, since my opponents board will be emptoy most of the time. Will go for it instead of the Spinal Embrace!

Anyway, would love to hear some feedback on my Dromar Control deck:
3x Dromar, the Banisher
1x Dakkon Blackblade
4x Nightscape Familiar
2x Sunscape Familiar
Instants:
3x Repulse
3x Exclude
4x Recoil
4x Dromar's Charm
3x Probe
4x Lobotomy
2x Vindicate
Enchantments:
2x Collective Restraint
1x Yawgmoth's Agenda
Land:
3x Underground River
3x Adarkar Wastes
1x Grand Coliseum
7x Swamp
6x Island
4x Plains
Haven't lost any of the few games I've played with it so far, yet I still feel that especially mana-wise it's still a bit unreliable.

It focuses on keeping the battlefield clean while using your opponents exiled cards against them. Does a fine job at both too, if I do say so myself.
I don't know if your play group will appreciate it, but Desolation Angel is a pretty brutal win condition in these colors.
Arcane Sanctum is a perfect addition to your manabase.
EDH - Ghave, Guru of Spores
EDH - Rafiq of the Many
EDH - Roon of the Hidden Realm

Added 1x Adarkar Wastes and 1x Underground River for the Invasion tapped dual lands and threw in 2x Vindicate for a Probe and an Exclude.
How about replacing the 2x Yawgmoth's Agenda with 2x Fact or Fiction? Or at least get rid of one Agenda to replace it with something else and see it as some kind of last resort win condition? Maybe a Teferi's Moat or Spinal Embrace? Although the Moat might be redundant to Collective Restraint...
