I like green, everything about green. Clothes, grass, symbolic relation to money, and of course in Magic. Presented here is a green deck with cards I happen to have, hoping for opinions, or suggestions for cards that will be a great addition or modification.
Then the following cards are nice singletons: Night Soil is excellent graveyard removal and makes use of your dead creatures. Spidersilk Armor never sucks. Loxodon Warhammer is very strong in any creature based aggro-deck.
Lands:
If you get rid of Leatherback Baloth you are open to use some lands that produce colorless mana, up to six are okay. Some are these: Haunted Fengraf can add some recursion to your deck. One or two Rogue's Passage can help you to push damage through if needed. Treetop Village adds another Creature to your deck, good when you face Mass removal like Wrath of God. Yavimaya Hollow is probably out of budget, but your deck would also benefit from Swarmyard, you have already Vorapede and Deadly Recluse, maybe you will find something instead of Leatherback Baloth that is also a spider/insect/rat/squirrel (e.g. the formerly mentioned Rust Scarab).
I tested this deck last night wit a few friends, and won 1 4 person ffa, and got 2nd place in the other ( but killed the 2 other people and the third person got me)
I agree about leatherback balloth ( it actually was in a speedy green deck with garruks companion lol) it has been removed (before my play tests). Instead I have put in 1x Loxodon Warhammer 3xnaturalize for some removal as I have found that creatures aren't usually a problem for this deck to deal with, since the opponents often are often forced to use their utility creatures to block.
I have yet to add nonbasic lands, but I do plan to do so, as I had a lot of extra mana, with the Joraga treespeaker, and omnath. Unfortunately, this was one of the problem I was having, too much mana, my omnath was sitting at 20 for one of the rounds, and I did not draw a single bigger creature till it was too late.
I am wondering if there are other efficient sensibly mana-costed 5drops of green that would be good for this deck. As good as Acidic Slime is, I have him in a flicker deck so I'm trying to not use again.
I like the element also, what i have been playing with most of my magic time. The deck does look really good but if you deal with removal why not plated slagwurm, or ascentisism?
Also i have a green deck in my signature you might could look at for ideas?
1x Garruk Wildspeaker
Sensibly mana-costed Big Green Creatures 10
4x Vorapede
2x Wolfir SilverHeart
2x Kodama of the North Tree
1x Hunted Troll
1x Pulkranos, world eater
4x Leatherback Baloth
4x Deadly Recluse
Mana Support 7
2x Omnath, Locus of Mana
3x joraga treespeaker
4x Llanowar Elf
1x Colfenor's Urn
1x Windstorm
2x Sheltering Ward
4x Withstand Death
Draw Mechanic 4
4x Infiltration lens
With the amount of Ramp I have, I assume I will be getting one of my 5 drops on the 4th turn on average.
I play in in a group where there's quite a few creature removals.
Deck looks good, i'm also a big fan of green. A few things you could change if you want:
Leatherback Baloth is a beater, but i think he is better of in a fast green aggro deck with Garruk's Companion, Strangleroot Geist, etc.. I would replace him with the occasional Acidic Slime or some other creature with a destroy effect, like Arbor Colossus, Rust Scarab, Wickerbough Elder and/or a singleton Glissa Sunseeker.

Just ideas for ya.

And I have a bigger green deck with Vernal Bloom,Pelakka Wurm, Sylvan Primordial, Woodfall Primus and other more crazy things, (edlrazi, Centaur Glade,Sands of Delerium. So I am hoping to stay away from the 7mana+ or it may seem too similar to that deck too.
Thanks again!
