The CR has that covered:
712.11. If an effect allows a player to cast a double-faced card as a face-down creature spell, or if a
double-faced card enters the battlefield face down, it will have the characteristics given to it by the
rule or effect that caused it to be face down. That card remains hidden, using a face-down substitute
card (see rule 714) and/or opaque sleeves. See rule 708, “Face-Down Spells and Permanents.”
712.11a While face down, a transforming double-faced permanent can’t transform. If it’s turned
face up, it will have its front face up.
712.12. Double-faced permanents can’t be turned face down. If a spell or ability tries to turn a double-
faced permanent face down, nothing happens.
712.13. A double-faced card that is exiled face down remains hidden, using a face-down substitute card
and/or opaque sleeves. See rule 714, “Substitute Cards.”

I strongly dislike cards that have an effect in the command zone. The adding the life each of your turns slows down the game, and the player asking if he adjusted his life total. (I may be biased based on my playgroup)

I love the design of the card, however it seems it was put in the wrong set.
This would have been better in a better multicolor set like khans of tarkir.

I love this one! It's pretty much just a Wind Drake with an enchantment popping ETB, but the Bird creature type is rather nice, and the activated ability can be useful in ways you'd never expect when first slotting it in. Kills Phantasmal Image or Horobi, Death's Wail, for instance.
I used to use Blessing on my White Knight deck that I created during the Tempest Block. With so many Knights that had Shadow or Flanking (or just the Knights from 5th Ed/Fallen Empires), it made a nice way to ruin someone's day...

I once beat my friends deck that had all the moxes with 4 energy flux, 4 shatter and 4 detonate. He felt terrible that his moxes were worse than basic forest

i may just be out of touch with how cards work in newer sets [Legacy player, mind you] but how is Mutate different from Bestow?

I don't mind the ur-dragon or inalla, archmage ritualist since the effect doesn't require as much bookkeeping.
