I am thinking about designing a deck built around have three creature types & giving them an insane boost w/ Coat of Arms. A good example is Order of Leitbur.
Once I can find at least 4 different creatures that have all 3 in common, I can start to build around it & can get a better structure, color wise, for the deck. I guess this would be a super-tribal deck.
Coiling Oracle somes to mind too. It'll be hard to find enough creatures with 3 useful types that overlap. I'd go with 3 types and creatures that share two:
The problem with that cycle is that the creatures have protection from the 3rd color, but if you work with Lords and Coat of Arms, it shouldn't be a problem.
I participate yearly in a survival challenge in which I am dropped off in the wilderness with 1 days rations, a knife, and no other supplies, and have to find my way home. This is typically several weeks hiking from civilization.
I have personally killed several bears in the course of this challenge, with the use of snares and other traps.
Sounds like a fun concept, also sounds like it can be a massive headache trying to keep track of some +1/+1 amounts depending on your board situation
Human rebel mercenaries, mentioned above, is a great layout. You can play Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero in a control type deck with coat of arms, used to be a lot of fun years ago in Standard/Masques Block until they banned her.
Here's an EDH deck using Lin Sivvi. The reason I list an EDH deck is because all the 1-offs give a nice pool of cards to pick the best of and build a 60-card version around.
Allies fit this to a T, even though "allies" doesn't have a T...no? Not funny? OK.
Incredibly lame humor aside, picking your 2-3 favorite colors and finding the appropriate Allies could be quite nice, since they'll all share the Ally type, and most of them are Human/Kor Cleric/Scouts. Since you're looking for aggressive Allies, try the Naya colors.
It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.

Thanks for the help.

Zombie Elf Merfolk comes to find
Gaea's Skyfolk - Elf Merfolk
Llanowar Dead - Elf Zombie
Vodalian Zombie - Merfolk Zombie
Then you could splash in some other creatures with one overlapping types in dual colors - like Putrid Leech, and Diregraf Captain. You've also got Elves of Deep Shadow for more ramp.

Are you sure? So a if I have 3 human knights on board, they won't give each other +4/+4?Just the card rulings an additional time. Nevermind... I read the card rulings wrong... slash this idea... buuuuu-merrrrrrr...
Well, if I ever head over to the custom card creation section, then I'll give it a whirl, w/ something that is like it.
Multiple copies of Door of Destinies would give you the same effect, but that might be too clunky.
Take a look at the ally tribe, e.g. Akoum Battlesinger.
Then it seems to be very simple to be a shaman in the mtg universe, nearly everybody can append this to its creature type:
I think i saw 4+ Human Cleric Shamans in this list.
