I've been trying to get some critique on this deck, I've been out of magic for awhile now and I'm a little rusty.
The idea is pretty straight forward, play aggressively and trade creatures with opponents. Some of my ideas behind the choices that may not be obvious:
Gloom Surgeon. A goofy card, but I think it fits the deck. It's pretty hard to get rid of, can attack into anything other then 3 toughness and up and can chump pretty well.
Bloodgift Demon. I'm not sure about this card yet. It's only 50 cents and in this format, the additional card draw plus a 5/4 flyer looks really good. I'm running 3x instead of 2 to help make sure one gets into my hand and less likely to get milled my gloom surgeon.
I originally had 3x Corrosive Mentor (1/3 for 2B, gives all black creatures wither) but I swapped it out for 3x Dross Golems (3/2 w/ fear and affinity for swamps). The idea behind the Mentors was that giving all my creatures wither would let them do lasting damage to things they couldn't kill, such as high toughness creatures and the like. It makes Gloom Surgeon a real ******* as well. The Dross Golems are nice for their evasion and that later on, I don't have to take mana away from the Shades (easily the best card in the deck). I don't think this deck can win if things turn into a stand off stalemate, I need to be attacking and trading with my opponent.
Your help is appreciated. The price of the cards is included int he link, to give you an idea what I'm working with.

Crippling Blight is less used for straight up-removal then it is to get early damage through and the turn I play it. The additional clause of not being able to block is much more useful then the extra -1/-1 that dead weight offers. Besides, if it's a 3/3 with a CB then it can't block surgeon or shade, and will trade with a Lacerator. If it has Dead Weight on it, he'll chump Shade and that's pretty bad for me.
Grasp of Darkness is my straight removal. X/4 and up are problems for this deck.
My general strategy is for Shade to get through or to trade with their more powerful creatures.
3 Bloodgift Demon
3 Daggerclaw Imp
3 Dross Golem
4 Fume Spitter
4 Gloom Surgeon
4 Thrill-Kill Assassin
4 Nantuko Shade
4 Vampire Lacerator
3 Grasp of Darkness
2 Tendrils of Corruption
2 Sign in Blood

Thanks again for your thoughts.
Elixir of Immortality can help you against milling yourself.
Leechridden Swamp is another nice mana sink besides the shade.
Virulent Swipe is 4 points of extra damage or removal with your wheenies.
Vampire Nighthawk is a really nice creature.
