So a friend of mine asked me to post his deck on this site so the people on here could help him improve it. Clearly there are alot of 1 ofs in here. I'm not really sure what he wants to do other than keep the glory of warfare. So if we could maybe build around it and keep it r/w it would be pretty good i assume.
Glory of Warfare works well with many smaller creatures, so tell him to focus on that. Both Red and White have a multitude of small, aggressive creatures such as Elite Vanguard and Gideon's Lawkeeper. Both colors can also spit out a lot of tokens fast (Dragon Fodder and Raise the Alarm are good examples).
I agree with Catastophe, Glory of Warfare would much benefit with much smaller creatures. Also I dont see much of the point of Ajani's Manta other than to boost Ajani's Pridemate You may be mixing up too many Ideas in this deck.
Arrest can be replaced with Oblivion Ring to remove the opponents Tribal Bonuses, or other permanents.
And there doesnt seem to have much purpose of having Chandra in this deck because you dont use any red instants or sorceries. There may be better cards for this deck especially for 6 mana.
Personally I think Glory of Warfare is the kind of card that fits more of a support role in a deck (rather then build an entire deck around it) but I know that feeling of seeing a card and just knowing you have to do something with it. I actually feel the same way about this card myself!
Anyway, as many have pointed out, this is a great card in a deck that cares about having a big army. If you are making Glory of Warfare the main centerpiece of the deck then you might want to consider going with either a token strategy or using good creatures that get even better with Warfare out. This card is also pretty nice with creatures that have vigilance, especially in multiplayer games, as it allows you to attack with the +2/+0 bonus AND go on the defense with the +0/+2 bonus with the same creatures. Personally, I think it would be more fun to just play a bunch of good midsize red/white creatures with vigilance like Serra Avenger and Cerodon Yearling. If you decide to focus on tokens, then you're most likely going be needing other cards to pump your creatures, as I feel most tokens will get wiped out easily without a toughness boost when attacking. More often then not your friend will be finding him or herself holding back from attacking if Glory of Warfare is their only token pump. Consider running a few Intangible Virtue, since it's token pump and gives Vigilance, which is always a nice bonus when combined with glory. Also, Captain of the Watch is pretty nuts with Glory of Warfare, he seems like the perfect card for this deck. This could also be a nice excuse to perhaps consider shaping the deck into a soldier themed Boros deck!
So, to summarize:Glory of Warfare is a support card, not a build around me card, to help give creatures that extra "mmmph!" If played with tokens, make sure you play other pump spells, otherwise you are going to be deterred from attacking with your vulnerable 3/1s. Also consider playing with creatures that have vigilance to get the most out of Glory of Warfare
Good luck with the deck, I hope your friend finds a direction to take it in!
Hello MTG players. I had a friend of mine post my deck yesterday to see what you all thought about it. I took your suggestions into account and have put together a new r/w deck that tries to combine the two suggested deck types with tokens and creatures. I will try to get my own account sometime soon but until then I will continue to have him post for me. He suggested alot less one ofs as it would help my deck flow better.
@ Buddy: I ordered the wrong Chandra by accident.
@ Kitsan: I just play casually.
Cut Goblin Fodder (Raise the Alarm is so much better and fits your mini-Soldier theme).
Cut Intangible Virtue, it's not worth it with 16+ real creatures in your deck and is dull compared to Glory of Warfare (the centerpiece of your deck). Plus Captain of the Watch already gives the exact same bonus to soldiers, which basically covers your tokens and your creatures.
Why has no one mentioned Boros Swiftblade? That guy is the stone nuts with a power boost.
Do you think the Ravnica bounce-lands and signets are still efficient today? I can't decide if they're any better than, say, the Refuge cycle.
IMO Ravnica bounce lands slow you down too much, especially in an aggro deck. I have a soft spot for the signets though. They always work out great for me - they both accelerate and fix your mana, and you can use them immediately, effectively lowering their CMC to 1 lots of the time. I play them in several of my decks.

I really like the Karoos (Bouncelands). I mostly play multiplayer though so I'm used to a slower format. They're probably better in a control deck than an aggro deck, but they only virtually reduce your tempo since they tap for 2 mana.
The Signets are definitely efficient and awesome. Paying 1 of any mana to cast Lightning Helix is awesome.
The Borderposts are best in decks that can abuse the artifact count (read: Balance) otherwise they're too slow to be effective and are outclassed by the Signets.

Everything he said was spot on. However I think if you focus on more of the RW creatures than Scourge of the Nibilis becomes nuts. I cant tell you how frustrating it is to be sitting across of a scourged out Figure of Destiny...
22 lands is not enough if you want to get that Captain of the Watch out on turn 6-7.
If it were me I'd cut 2 Scourge of the Nobilis for 2 lands. I know Glory of Warfare is the card you wanted to build around but I think 4 might be a little overkill, but I won't try to dissuade you on that since it is the centerpiece. If you did cut 1, you could go ahead and make it a 3/3 split between the Scourge and the Glory, but I'd rather reduce the chances of 2 for 1's with the Scourge.
Hope that helps.
Edit: Just thought of it, but maybe a Mobilization or 2 wouldn't hurt, but I don't have any suggestions on what to cut.
Someone I know play Scourge of the Nobilis on Heartfire Hobgoblin. Manage to get them Lifelink with True Conviction. For quick life gain, I recommend War Report, works well against token spawning decks and artifact decks. Follow that with a Wrath of God and play some creatures to get things rolling. For having them gain haste, Fervor will do the trick or there's even better, Mass Hysteria. I remember of a card in Red that allow you to have a second attack step, Relentless Assault.

Other good R/W cards on general are Lightning Helix, Lightning Bolt, Path to Exile and Oblivion Ring.

Scourge of the Nibilis could be cool, it's a little janky though.
Balefire Liege is ridiculous. Lightning Helix is a must-have card in your collection.
I don't really like Boros Guildmage here as her abilities are pretty underwhelming.
If you can get them, filter lands are very helpful when you have so many RW spells. Rugged Prairie, budget versions are Battlefield Forge, Boros Garrison, Rupture Spire, Boros Signet et al.
