The deck has 3 win conditions: Kill your opponent with small creatures and equipment, with Kaldra, or with Marit Lage (Dark Depths). The deck fixes its mana with a set of Mox Diamonds and it accelerates to pay equip costs (and Dark Depths activation costs) with a trio of Honor-Worn Shakus.
When building the deck, the main thing I wanted to do was include Cathedral of Serra, Adventurers' Guildhouse, and Mountain Stronghold. They're just too funny not to use in a Legendary Deck. Also, "Bands with other legends" fit well with an equipment based deck. Mox Diamonds helped to fix openings if you drew too many useless lands, Riftstone Portal helped to make them mana producing lands, and Honor-Worn Shaku turned almost everything into a mana producing permanent.
The Honden based decks always felt like the "bands with other legends" lands were useless. With this Kaldra based deck, at least you're always attacking with guys to band together.
(I'm still not sure if I have the right ratio of creatures, control-ish, and mana cards. It's hard to find legendary creatures with low cmc.)
I think you need more tutoring. Sylvan Scrying to get whatever land you want and Green Sun's Zenith to get Sisay, and from then any other creature you want.
I wouldn't run Faithless Looting, remember it generates card disadventage even if you get to use the flashback. The Mox Diamonds and maybe a couple of Crop Rotations should be enough to drop your Riftstone Portals into the graveyard.
4 Naturalize might be a little too much for the MD, maybe you could run 2 and 2 Oblivion Rings

I don't get the Squees, why do you use them for?
Squees are mainly for Faithless Looting, to off-set the card disadvantage. (If you have 2 squees, Faithless Looting is basically "draw 2 cards" with flashback.)
Also, low cmc legends are hard to come by, so he's just another body. He also works with Pendelhaven and Tenza, Godo's Maul.
