The extent of my dual lands is represented by this deck. Do not tell me I should be running more duals. Believe me, if I had, I would. I do wonder however about Terramorphic Expanse. LMK what you think.
One of my main quandrys is what mass removal to use. Starstorm? Savage Twister? Infest? That new one from Spiral? And how many? Should I mix and match em? They all have different pros and cons that have to be considered, and I want to know what you think.
It is possible that another color should be added/replaced/removed. If you think that is true, tell me. It is not likely however that I will.
Do not just suggest that I add a bunch of Eternal Witnesses and Overfilled Cemeterys. I am building a deck to win mainly off Aether Charge, and some aggro. If however, you can give a good reason why Cemetery would be a positive addition, tell me. This is true for any "tournament worthy deck suggestion". I am trying to fix this deck, not build a new deck.
If you dont know what you are talking about, and/or can't give a half-decent explanation of your comment, don't say anything.
Yea, dont worry bout the Blastoderm. My playgroup uses Mercadian Masques and on, and the closest format to that is extended. In regards to acceleration, I realy dont think I need much more. The only time I find myself short of mana is when I need 8 to wipe the board of a Sky-Swallower. Even then its not so bad, I can usualy drop a Savage Twister in time to save myself. Remember, I have 4 Elves, and 7 other mana reducers.
Destructive Flow is a good card in the current format, but in my metagame, there aren't many non-basic lands. I may pick up a few for the sideboard. Speaking of which, what should I board? I think Anurid Swarmsnapper is a 3 of. But should I run Hurricane or Earthquake? And again my biggest problem- What removal should I board, and what should I main deck? I can give around 6-8 spots in my maindeck for mass and spot removal. I would probrably maindeck 2 Savage Twisters, 4 Putrefy, and 2 Hull Breach, and sideboard 2 Infest, 2 of that guy from Spiral, another Hull Breach.... LMK what you think..
you stuff 15 basic lands and 4 elves into the deck, but fear the side effect of Flow? that's too funny. If you'd like to play a unlimited deck,i quiet seriously suggest you to consider about the Tangle Wire and Saproling Burst and Natural Order and so on.
I have been thinking about it, and I think that Mox would actually be helpfull. Its not just exel, but speed also. Ill see if I can get my hands on a few.
I dont fear the side effects of flow. Its just not a helpful card, because no one in my playgroup uses many non-basic lands. I would definitely play Natural order, but I am not playing unlimited, I am playing with everything Masques and on. Tangle Wire may be good, but I dont know about Saproling Burst. I could probrably run the wire without the burst. In any case, what would you swap out?
i just give out some reasonable chioce, but not harmony them together.
In any case, Blind Creeeeeper must die fist. Beast deck is similar to Mono Green, big creature and acceleration. Whatsoever, you must have 8 to 10 accelerators in such a deck. If you want to play Natural Order, you can throw some biggest one in your library.
Although this version is slightly less consistent than Black, is far more explosive, using Grove, Call, and Congregation as tutors, and Wake to add to the power AND speed. Brushhopper is devestating with Savage and Charge.
Brushhopper is sick, especialy once you have Charge out.
Today's questions: (a) Should I take out 1x Baloth for another Wake? (b) Which combination of Tutors (Eladamri's Call, Congregation at Dawn, Sterling Grove) should I run? (c) Is *** a good idea in this deck? (d) Do I need 4x Savages if i run 3x Brushhopper?
Well, i really don't know how to comment. one answer to all your questions is that what you need is not what you'd asked me.
Don't mess aroud color. Mono Green now can offer you anyting over your imagination: Gaining life, Solving troulbesome permanent and Land Destruction. So, just playing 8 or 11 elves in your deck is actually enough and directly efficient. They are indispensable, Llanowar elve, Fyndhorn Elves and Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary. Without their help, you can't play a turn 3 Blastoderm or Baloth, and that's the biggest threats. another necessary nonbasic-land is Gaea's Cradle.
Armageddon with Big creatures is a traditonal thread of WG, if you tend to splash with W. But you also need elves to accelerate Armageddon and produce mana after it.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
Thanx to all the mods that relocated me....Now that we are in casual, I may as well revamp the whole deck. The goal is now to combo Aether Charge with Ghostway. The question is should the deck be R/W or R/W/G ? If there would be green, it would be Exel. Without green, it would be more focused I think. So lets try R/W........................................ 4x Aether Charge, 4x Ghostway, 4x Lightning Helix, 3x Wrath of God, 2x Brightflame, 4x Karplusan Wolverine, 3x Longhorn Firebeast, 2x Ember Beast, 4x Laccolith Whelp, 3x Momentary Blink, 4x Wild Research.
I built a rather strong casual Beast deck a while ago. I didn't run any non-beast creatures in it. The only theme specific cards i would run for red are Contested Cliffs and Avvorax. (prob spelled that wrong)
Blue is actually a better colour, it gives you Trygon Predator and Auquamoeba. These give you both a solid early game and some answers to artifacts and enchantments.
With Sac outlets, and discard with Aquamamoeba, you might want to run Patriarch's Bidding.
Krosan Tusker and [card]Indrik Stomphowler[/cards]s should both be in here.
As an added note, those beast enabler creatures (ie draw a card when you play a beast) actually are not very good.
I dont know, I think I wanna work the aether charge theme, and sticking to two colors is helpfull. So i can go Bidding combo (B/R), Blink combo (W/R), Aggro (R/G), or a combination. I'm leaning towards Blink, cuz it is more fun, and costs less mana. It also isn't dead vs Tormad's Crypt. It is, however, very vulnerable in the early game. If I run blue, I won't get to use charge.
Krosan Tusker is an Amazing mana fixer and card draw. Aside from Avvorax, I would skip the red beasts. Indrik Stomphowler is easy to splash, and is an amazing utility creature and good beater. I can see dropping blue and black, but you really need to run green.

Find a WGR Cycling deck, and then replace the big creature and Lightning Rift of your favourite pets and Aehter Charge. I am sorry to say that, can your deck fix at one point?
Well, if you have AEther Charge, and you have Congregation to stack your deck with creatures, you might want to consider Thrumming Stone for more "Oops, I win" situations. If you did go this route, I'd consider running three Goretusk Firebeast as a win condition(if anything, your opponent can look at it when you play it and say "So THAT'S why he's bald."

I'd recommend Rampaging Baloths, a neat 6/6 beast with trample that costs only six mana and produces 4/4 beast creature tokens whenever a land comes into play under your control = totally goes well with AEther Change.
