So, here's the idea. I liked Raid Bombardment when it was first released, and now it looks like it works very handily with Chandra's Spitfire. So, here's a little concoction for Casual, featuring both the Valakut Fireboar + Goblin Tunneler synergy with the Spitfire as an added bonus.
Basically, you want to have a Bombardment with either a Spitfire or both the Boar and Tunneler. Having a flipped Tok-Tok doubles the damage from the Bombardment(s), which is always nice, as well as adding 1 dmg to each attack. Searing Blaze because I don't have access to Lightning Bolts, plus it might help to be able to take out a creature and also trigger the Spitfire(s). Although, I was thinking it might be more efficient to put in Wrap in Flames instead of Blaze... What do you all think? Or I could take out the Matrons for Wrap in Flames... All they're intended to do is tutor for either unblockable (Tunneler) or haste for final swings (Bushwhacker).
As always, this is meant to be budget, with Lavarunners and Spitfires being the most expensive on the list (as of now). Also opened a Chandra at my M11 pre, do you all think it'd be an "eh, why not?" idea to throw her in?
Alright, thanks. I think I'll take out one of the Matrons for her... Although my one qualm is that if I were to activate Chandra's +1, my Spitfires would be 4/3s, and the Bombardments wouldn't be triggered... Ah well. I guess I'll just always save her for Post-Combat Mainphase.
I like Kiln Fiend in this style of deck better than Goblin Matron or Goblin Bushwhacker. Matron doesn't really do anything all that great in here. I mean I get that she searches up one of 12 other goblins, but none of those goblins are what really impacts the game on their own. It's the other cards that affect the game more, Spitfire and Fireboar. Bushwhacker seems less useful because you don't have really have a quick horde of creatures. I'd probably drop both for Kiln Fiend and 1 more spell.
I'd keep Searing Blaze. I think it's fine since it works as a trigger for Spitfire and is decent removal removal. However, you should put in 4x Terramorphic Expanse and maybe 2x Evolving Wilds just so that you can landfall at instant speed.
You could also include Chandra's Outrage for another removal spell that also hits the opposing player.
Staggershock is another great spell in this style of deck that can hit twice, triggering Kiln Fiend and Chandra's Spitfire twice.
Forked Bolt or Arc Lightning are other solid choices that can take out a small creature and trigger Spitfire. Plus they play really well into a flipped Lavarunner.
The Tunneler is what makes this deck work... It allows the 7 (or 8) damage from a Fireboar connect. Also, against Flyers, it gives Spitfires more evasion. I don't think 2 playsets of instants would be enough to justify putting Kiln Fiend in.

I understand that the Tunneler helps your dudes get through; I wasn't advocating getting rid of those. Just that you don't need more than 1 at a time (more than 1 will probably be win-more) and they are terrible on their own. Which is why I was suggesting Kiln Fiend and some more instants to support both Kiln Fiend and Spitfire. Just a thought, cool deck though! You should call it B-A-C-O-N! (After the flaming boar hehe).
