I'd like to get 2x more Wrath of Marit Lage for SB. 3x more hibernation for SB, and take out whatever isn't needed.
I'd like to get in 4x Pyroclasm, or 4x Star Storm. Taking out the sandstalkers is an option for putting in Meloku's and removing Trade Routes. Although enchantment kill isn't big right now, Trade Routes would stand up longer before dying. I wouldn't mind killing gifts ungiven too.
I really wonder about your mana base though, as you seem to have a lot of mountains, even with the RRR casting cost of Seismic Assault. I mean, you have just that and Shock, and there's the Solemn Simulacrum and the Chromatic Sphere to help ease that mana problem. I'd also suggest adding in Tendo Ice Bridge, as it interacts very nicely with the land bounce theme.
thanks for the tips. not having enough R has been a problem in previous matches running 16/7 and 15/8 (U/R) thats why i went up to 13/10. The sol is my buddies, and he needs it back (apparently) so those may be out of the question to even try and get.

I guess it could be there, but he could add cards from older sets too.
Perhaps people shoudl make suggestions for both formats.
Well after 4 years of this thread being dead I'm bringing it back with more updates. Keep in mind I'm not tuning this deck for any Type format, I'm trying to keep it mostly Odyssey block and newer since that's what I have for cards.
Right now that 57 but I'm sure there could be a few 3 of's to balance for more burn or control. I'd like to incorperate Burning Wish or Cunning Wish in here somehow but I don't what what to keep on the SB or what quantity to run of each. Give me some input, thanks

One of the biggest problems is the inability to deal with large creatures if they don't get countered. I was thinking of running Upheaval" target="blank">Upheaval or Evacuation" target="blank">Evacuation on SB and using wishes to get them when needed.
I see the appeal for running more lands, but in early game or if you don't get a Seismic Assault or Trade Routes this is where the Shock's and Serum Visions help out, plus Serum Visions is hands down better then a discard/draw from a Trade Routes, until a Crucible of Worlds is in play.
Also running more control as I see it, will help control the win more. If you're only getting 1 card a turn it helps to draw control cards rather then a land to burn for 2.
Almost always I'll ramp up to 6 or 7 lands and then draw until I have enough to burn the opponent down. It's hard to counter life gain when your only burning like 2 a turn when your hand is empty.
Anyone have anything else to add about the setup of this deck?

I agree that Viashino Sandstalker doesn't exactly fit into this deck, as does Gifts Ungiven. So given the extra three cards, I'd suggest using three more Solemn Simulacrum, just to get out more land quickly. See if you can somehow sneak in another Meloku the Clouded Mirror, and neutral land fetchers like Wayfarer's Bauble and while slow but perfect for this deck, Journeyer's Kite.

Going with the burn theme, Fire // Ice seems like a good choice.
