I've had a creatureless Standard-legal Helix Pinnacle deck since Shards of Alara came out, and the first thing I would immediately recommend is Idyllic Tutor - it ensures that your hand never gets gummed up with too many Helix Pinnacles or Mana Reflections.
Wouldn't Anhk of mishra be kind of a pain to both of you? I know this deck has nonland mana, but to get to 100, I'd think you'd need mana coming from every direction.

I'll be sad if people don't start calling The Chain Veil "Fleetwood Mac."
This isn't necessarily true. I always build my decks to have a rebound method. That is why my mana generation comes from both creatures and enchantments, so that if one angle is disrupted the other end could still thrive. Once I make the proper cuts for Idyllic Tutor then I will be able to setup another pinnacle and begin the process to 100 again.
Also, it was my poor memory that placed Lush Growth over Fertile Ground. My apologies
4x Mana Reflection
4x Doubling Cube
3x Llanowar Elves
3x Druid of the Anima
3x Fertile Ground
3x Keeper of the Progenitus
3x Path to Exile
3x Naya Charm
2x Garruk Wildspeaker
2x Banefire
3x Pollen Lullaby
3x Idyllic Tutor
Everything generates mana or protects me while I do it. It is an incredibly fun deck in large multiplayers.
what about ankh of mishra and/or smoke? makes it hard for them to attack

Avid fan of buying overpriced precons and using 5/60 cards to make a "fun" deck.

Read Helix Pinnacle again. It's not as easy as you think.
I would have to suggest Feritle Ground over Lush Growth. The Ground accelerates your mana, while fixing it, and combos very well with Garruk.
