OK so the card is Tooth of Chiss-Goria" target="blank">Tooth of Chiss-Goria. Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the points, like I said earlier, if someone wants to take over that, that would be great. If not, we might just go by how the judges vote in general. Always get someone new anyway. Good luck to everyone.
I loved the idea of a card like Tooth of Chiss-Goria being a build-around-me card, because it so very obviously isn't. You see the card in an entirely new light.
Anyways, my deck based around Tooth of Chiss-Goria:
I tried to utilize each of Tooth of Chiss-Goria's abilities, but, try as I might, I really couldn't wedge the Flash part in.
Affinity: Since ToCG comes down for free with 3 other artifacts, you can sac it to KCI for 2. Take that two mana and play Myr Retriever. Sac it, return ToCG to your hand through it's effect, and the Myr to you hand through Enduring Renewal. End result: you have all the same cards, but 2 extra mana, and you're ready to do it again.
+1/+0 pump: Of course, everytime you use this loop, you a get a freshly untapped ToCG. In other words, you can pump for +1/+0 while gaining 2. The creature to pump in this deck is Cephalid Inkshrouder. I picked him because he can be unblockable (a big plus for a 1,000,000/1 creature), but also because he can grant shroud to protect himself before you combo off and afterwards.
All the mana the combo generates can be sunk into either Staff of Domination, to draw up your deck if you need to find something, or Sensei's Divining Top in a pinch. I added some counterspells to give it a fighting chance. Oboro is there to return for Inkshrouder if needed, but it also is nice if someone wants to blow up the board.
Ok, so you people know what I will base my judging on and do care about:
creativity (10) - that's both an awesome combo and fine-tuned synergy the fun-factor (8) - reading some of my decklists you can guess what that means consistency (3) - my opinion on your deck's chances doing what you want it to do. "protection/controll/disruption" (3/4) - that's harder for combo decks than synergy/normal decks, but if done right combo decks can get an extra point.
in brackets are the points, leading to a maximum of 24/5. some of the factors play right into others, I can't explain it 100%, but I hope you get the gist. (ex: 4 points for pcd will also push creativity)
I've decided to give minus points for subpar choices.
Further I will point out to all people before the judging that they have an illegal card in the deck, if there is one. As it's not in my grading system I don't care if you change.

Parabola you have such a card: the Tutor
Duh, unrestricted in Legacy and restricted in Vintage, not the other way around. That's what I get for building a deck at 2am.
You can edit it if you wish. The decks aren't final until the votes are in. And I love the decks so far, lots of fun. And thanks for doing the points. Makes everything much easier. Right now I am just overwhelmed with the amount of work I'm doing. It's kinda funny but I might have more time come fall... school won't be as bad then as it is now lol.
With four entrants (The two in this thread plus here and here) and three weeks, will this one come to an end? I'd hate to see these contests die, as they were quite fun.
Sorry guys, I've just been busy and kinda hoping for another deck. If someone could take over for a little bit that would be great, school and work is killing me right now. I'll be back, and maybe even make a deck or 2 for some contests. Sorry about all of this, but I'm glad people are still trying.

Remove a card in your hand from the game:
Don't know if I'm the only one who though it's remove from the grave.
more ontopic: sad thing that only four people made a llist, my card was to broken ^^
I'd run the contest if the audience wanted it to procede, in case djosh doesn't want anymore
