I was thinking about sulfur falls but the wilds allow to search for the specific land u need, hereby thinning the deck out. I only need one mountain or island on the field at a given time. The rest should be swamps. Ghost quarter is still a threat after all. Maybe a couple of falls would work. Sucks ya can't search for them.
Deck did well. Went 2-1 last nite. Lost to humans. Thinking about removing reaps for faithless looting. Maybe add a stensia bloodhall too. Overall, pretty happy.
I've been running the below list for block zombies. I think its strength is in the aggressive curve and consistent mana base. I've seen a few folks 3-1 a DE with a similar list, and I'm doing fairly well in the 2-mans. Sideboard is in flux.
Here is the current deck I am running. Some things I am considering is like adding 1 more Diregraf to replace an Endless Ranks. Also any advice for the sideboard or Maindeck would be great.
I'm working on this deck. It's still in the concept phase. I don't know if I'll get it done by the weekend, but I do expect to see some pros playing Zombies.
Diregraph Captain is too good to pass up on blue.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

see but if you want to run 4 diregraf also run 2 grimgrin. they work sooo well with gravecrawler or anything with undying.

When the fixing was worse I tried Grim and didn't really like him. I'll try a pair this time and see what happens.

Zombies has been looking for a GOOD sac outlet (there are plenty of sac outlets but most of them put you at a disadvantage just to get a point or two through).
Conley Woods added vampires to his zombie build to replicate the similar feel of Diregraf Captain and reduce the situational effect of Killing Wave by providing Bloodflow Connoisseur as a very useable repeatable sac effect.
He talks about the lack of Blue which I felt could be made up by Cavern of Souls but he talked about losing cards like Victim of Night which is good against Wolves, Angels and of course humans.

About to run Cranberries through a daily, didn't feel like paying 2.5 tix per blood artist and 4 tix per Killing wave yesterday knowing they would have dropped today. I'll edit this post regarding results.
Round 1
G1- Die roll lost
Played against a R/G brew with ambush vipers and wolfir avengers with vexing devils. Lost to a very aggressive start from him.
G2
Dropped more guys than he could deal with backed with blood artist.
G3
He dropped a turn 3 bonfire, turn 4 huntsmaster, turn 5 bonfire and turn 6 bonfire. Yep, lost that one.
Post match, I tried to look over decks in the block format and couldn't find what he was playing. Looks like it's just a r/g goodstuff deck, except all the stuff isn't good. Ambush viper was his "ace up his sleeve" half the time.
Current record- 0-1
Round 2
G1- Die roll lost
Playing a mirror match, he had the more aggressive hand.
G2- In a good fight, he landed more blood artists, high priests, and sac outlets than I landed.
Record
0-2, drop.
Not what I was hoping for, but it's one of those days I guess. Some days, you go 4-0, some days you go 0-2 drop. I don't feel like either match was so much a deck problem as a problem as one match being a mirror and the other being against an unknown deck. So I decided to play a 2 man.
Naya Humans
G1- Lost yet another die roll
Turn 3 huntsmaster, turn 4 triple pillar for my board. I killed the huntsmaster with a dead weight, but triple pillar is a punishing play against us. Had to miss the turn 3 messenger in order to deal with the huntsmaster, dropped a turn 4 messenger and he dropped an aristocrat. I dropped a turn 5 messenger due to no removal in hand for the aristocrat, and then I saw the 4th pillar for one of my messengers. Perhaps I evaluated what I was against incorrectly.
g2
Turn 1 crawler into turn 2 ghoul and killing his mana dork, forcing him back a turn. Dropped a turn 3 connoisseur that did a lot of heavy lifting with the pillars and drew a second crawler in order to be able to gigantic size the vamp. When he scooped, the vamp was sitting at a pretty 7/7, which was going to be a 10/10 if the game went back to my turn.
g3
Lead with an appetite getting an aristocrat after his turn 1 wilds. next turn dropped a top decked ghoul and dead weighted his mana dork. His pillared my messenger, I dropped a bloodflow connoisseur. I knew he had blasphemous act in his hand, so I tried to balance my creatures to his mana as long as possible. He ended up showing a bonfire that he didn't play oddly enough. He tried to fiend hunter my bloodflow, but I saced it to itself to ping him for 1 (taking him to 2), then he bonfired for 1 to kill my artist taking him to 1. Next turn, I dropped another artist which he couldn't deal with and then dropped my second bloodflow the next turn, sac'ed it to itself, and killed him.
Makes me feel a good bit better about my terrible run in the daily.
Edited again- another daily
Round 1- R/W Humans
Game 1- Lost yet another die roll
Gravecrawler into the 2 mana undying guy into blockers and letting his cloistered youth kill him
Game 2- He was stuck after 2 mulligans on 2 mountains until turn 6. Nuff said. If my hand hadn't been so removal heavy, it would have been swifter.
Record- 1-0
Round 2- R/W Humans
Game 1- Lost ANOTHER die roll. Ended up losing a close back and forth battle. Only gained about 10 lives with 1 blood artist over the course of the game.
Game 2- Human frailty on his first 2 drops, then messenger, noble, 2 mana undying guy, killing wave for 3 to kill him.
Game 3- He curved out perfectly and I did not. Happens
Record- 1-1.
Round 3- Angel combo
Game 1- Lost the die roll. Opening hand had 1 drop removal, 2 drop, 3 drop, 4 lands. I never saw another non land.
Game 2- Spent a little time with both of us trading removal for each other's guys, but I pulled it out
Game 3- He combo'ed. Then he combo'ed again. Then he combo'ed again. Then he bonfired for a lot. I lost.
Odds of pulling a JtMS from a WWK pack: 1:80
Odds of pulling any specific rare in 5th Edition: 1:133
So, on average, 1 JtMS every 2.222 boxes or 1 Bird of Paradise every 3.694 boxes. Yeah, I'll take my odds with Mythics, they are easier to get than old rares.
