Greetings to the Planeswalkers of MTG Salvation! Gem-Knight Dante here, looking for some help on a Sultai Superfriends deck I've been brewing. Its yet to be playtested at all, its purely in the first stage of being put together, the 1.0 Decklist and I'm already running into a wall!
... There are 106 cards and I can't decide what to cut. So below you'll find the list, and I'll happily accept any suggestions and/or advice regarding this deck!
(And to note; Yes, I do know I'm not running doubling season. Our group is mostly casual so I've chosen to avoid such a card.)
I have a few Sultai Planeswalker commander decks, but with Tasigur at the helm
First of all, Collective Restraint, Crawlspace and Propaganda, do not circumnavigate players being able to attack your Planeswalkers and having to pay costs. Attacking "You" and Planeswalkers are different things. Check out Sphere of Safety to confirm this interaction.
Torment of Hailfire is bad.
Cut, Nissa, Nature's Artisan, Tezzeret the Schemer, Kiora, Master of the Depths. All have very little synergy with the deck.
Thats 7 cards to cut, but with 40 lands, its possible that you get flooded with Damia, Sage of Stone.
Without ALL the fetch lands, Sensei Diving Top, Scroll Rack and Sylvan Library are much worse. In the future I would look to add literally all of them (Flooded Strand, Marsh Flats, Scalding Tarn, Wooded Foothills). Fixing and top deck manipulation is both fun and powerful.
Planeswalker decks really do rely on creature sweepers, so I'd look at Bontu's Last Reckoning and Crux of Fate (probably take out In Garruk's Wake, too costly).
I'd replace Villainous Wealth with Genesis Wave, basically the same mana cost, but Genesis Wave guarantees more synergy when you cast it.
First off, thank you for the reply! If you don't mind I'd like to discuss some of the changes with you, if you have the time.
The thing that hurt the most with playing Sultai was my inability to go into white. White is such a good Superfriends colour. No Sphere of Safety hurts. Though I'll probably drop those other pillowfort cards now that I realise their lack of use in a deck such as this.
Now I completely agree with the Planeswalker write-offs, especially the Nissa and Kiora ones. As for the Tezzeret, I mainly had him for the first two abilities but looking over how few Artifacts I have I realise he's not too efficient. Do you feel there are any Planeswalkers I've shafted in my decisions?
Onto Torment of Hailfire, could you give me a quick explanation of why its bad? I imagine if I cast it for X=8 it could lead to quite the amount of damage! And with this deck being at least moderately adept at getting lands out, I don't see that being too much of a problem.
And the fetch land situation, I feel they would just eat up valuable slots (as you can see I'm already having problems cutting it down to 100) for large amounts of money! And what would I take out? Basics?
Lastly, Villainous Wealth is just fun. Though I might just add Genesis Wave as well! And on the pro side of V. Wealth I do have the chance to be playing against Dragons, 5-colour Superfriends or Big Stompy Karametra so I figure it couldn't be too bad to keep.

Just a guy who appreciates fringe and near-jank decks. You wont find any top tier decks here.

Actually I think there are just too many PW in general, but because you said it was more casual playgroup, I figured that you might as well keep the heavy theme. But PW in multiplayer is much harder to get traction than you might think. Getting stuck with them in your hand, with no opportunity to get value is how 90% of your games will play out. Hence the importance of creature board wipes.
I'd play Garruk, Primal Hunter over Nissa, Worldwaker. Nissa, Vastwood Seer I've started to include in any green deck, very powerful card for cost. Karn Liberated sometimes proves to be a one of card in deck that can deal with almost anything.

Every time this card has been cast against me, I've been able to navigate around it, so that it hasn't effected my chances of winning. Also its just very expensive and there are just better cards to play. I'd play Decree of Pain over this card.
And the fetch land situation, I feel they would just eat up valuable slots (as you can see I'm already having problems cutting it down to 100) for large amounts of money! And what would I take out? Basics?
Remove Reliquary Tower, Temple of the False God and 2 basics.

Of course, it is a fun card. Was just pointing out that in that slot Genesis Wave will do a lot more for you.
As someone with quite some experience running Atraxa Superfriends, a little inoput:
I think you should have more play sequences that give your walkers a head start in building up towards an emblem. This comes mostly in the form of being able to play walkers at instant speed EOT so you can directly untap with them (Vedalken Orrery/Leyline of Anticipation, you're already running Alchemist's Refuge or building up enough mana in one turn to play a walker AND a sweeper. You can set up the latter by countering a spell with Mana Drain, Plasm Capture or Spell Swindle so you get a big mana boost. In the same vein, I think you should run Vampiric Tutor and Worldly Tutor so you can flash in a PW on your opponent's EOT, untap, during upkeep tutor for Deepglow Skate and immediately go ultimate. It's plays like this that will help you get your emblems without white's protection cards. All in all, flashing in Damia EOT also increases the chance of getting here ability at least once before she is killed.
Also, there's a lot of ways people can directly damage your PW's through redirecting damage. If you run Orbs of Warding and/or Witchbane Orb you cannot be targeted, thus no fireballing your PW (A rule change on this is coming in the near future, but for now this is how it works).
Spike Weaver is a PW's best friend, 3 fogs in one card.
Since you only dedicate one slot to equipment for your commander, i feel Darksteel Plate is better than the greaves, as it allows Damia to also block incoming PW attackers without dying. It also allows her to survive nearly all the mass creature kill you run yourself.

Last but not least, where's the proliferate? Contagion Clasp, Contagion Engine, Inexorable Tide, Tezzeret's Gambit, Thrummingbird and Viral Drake are all very very usefull in getting those loyalty counters up!
