This is my first ever Simic build, and my only partner build. I'd wanted to build a simic deck for a while and hadn't really gelled with any of the previous legends available - I got 90% of the way to building Rashmi and decided to flag it.
What I'm liking about this so far is that it's remarkably different to any deck I've built so far - there are some infinite combos here, and for the most part they are intentional. The other part I'm liking about this so far is that it's been cheap to build.
I'm not sure if there are other ways to play these two - the way I see it, I could play on landfall triggers, I could use all that colorless mana for Eldrazi and colossi, or leverage the degenerate card draw and enormous mana that these two provide - this is what I've tried to do here.
Bear in mind, this deck is not complete - I could definitely use Laboratory Maniac and Training Grounds. If you spot anything else I could use, feel free to suggest.
I think this deck's potential is off to a good start. Have you considered running Azami, Lady of Scrolls? I run her in my Momir Vig deck, which seems pretty similar to yours in terms of wizards! Azami makes my wizards so good. Plus, she makes Kydele all the more powerful!
Has Sage of Fables been working out for you? I've never seen this card before.
And if you're running this many wizards, you should absolutely run Riptide Laboratory! It's a MUST in any Wizard-heavy deck!
Had a playtest this weekend and came to the conclusion (which should really have been obvious) that the clue theme does not work here. Paying 2 to draw a card so I can add an extra 1 to my mana pool is a losing game. So this mechanic I've tried to replace with everything I have that punches above its weight for card draw; even cards that draw a card for each one mana spent don't get me ahead further, so it's a short list. I'd be happy to take recommendations for further advancement in this area. Things like Thought Reflection, Staff of Nin, Well of Ideas and Consecrated Sphinx seem like obvious shoe ins, should I be able to track them down. I'll also be trying to track down a copy of Murkfiend Liege at some point too.

Thanks for the kind words. As you can see from the changes post, it was a rough draft to start with, and needed a reasonable overhaul. I did indeed add Azami, Lady of Scrolls - great in this build.
Sage of Fables has a little synergy - the +1/+1's are draw at a pinch, it buffs some of my creatures, but it could reasonably be replaced if needed. As I said in the changelog post, paying mana to draw cards has proved a losing battle thus far, it really needs to be more efficient.
I'd love to run Riptide Laboratory, but unfortunately it's doing time in my Dralnu, Lich Lord deck, where it is fairly vital to mitigating the downside of running Dralnu.
Thanks for the input, I'd be stoked to hear more suggestions.
Out: Illusionist's Bracers - RTFC - no mana abilities. Deadeye Navigator - Was only really here for Coiling Oracle, so might as well lower the curve. Genesis Hydra - Seems a bit redundant with this much draw. Spore Cloud - Cool effect, once off though - might come back, might not.

In:
Illusionist's Bracers - No idea why it was in Braids, but it's far better here.
Thought Reflection - Makes Kydele worth it.
Biomantic Mastery - Mega draw for Kydele again.
Out:
Urban Evolution
Jace's Sanctum
Commandeer - Great control card, but it maybe fits better in my Dralnu build.
Also picked up a Murkfiend Liege with the release of Commander Anthology, so that could be fun.
In:
Notorious Throng - Extra turns are fun.
Beastmaster Ascension - Kind of a win con on it's own, and so easy to turn on.
Murkfiend Liege - Consistency engine
Benefactor's Draught - Sort of insurance with Edric, Spymaster of Trest.
Out:
Illusionist's Bracers - RTFC - no mana abilities.
Deadeye Navigator - Was only really here for Coiling Oracle, so might as well lower the curve.
Genesis Hydra - Seems a bit redundant with this much draw.
Spore Cloud - Cool effect, once off though - might come back, might not.
