Hey guy's so I've been running a Selvala, Explorer returned deck for awhile now, and I'd love to know if anybody could have any advice for how to improve it from here. Currently, I go off by turn 4 at 90% consistency, but I can fare worse in the rematch.
So, let me explain how the deck works then! So, it's based around this lovely lady here, Selvala, Explorer Returned. The name of the game is untapping her as much as possible, either using cards that directly say it, like Vitalize and Instill Energy. Chaining these low cost untap cards let's me dig through my deck, for not only more untap cards, but also my win con, Aetherflux Reservoir. The deck also has several tricks to go "infinite", namely with Paradox Engine or Umbral Mantle
Now, to make this deck as consistent as it's been, I run mana ramp in the form of cards like Sol Ring, Lotus Petal, and elves for days. another neat trick that I've found, is that since I don't need lands once Selvala is out, Armageddon helps sink in my victory.
So yeah, that's basically where I stand, here's a full link to my deck list, if you have any questions at all, just let me know, and I'll be here to answer. Thank you all so much!
Beautiful! I built a deck that was 95% this deck a few weeks after Selvala came out. Seedcradle Witch did some work in my build.
Incidentally, this deck was PERFECT for trolling people who objected to infinite combos - since the iterative series of interactions displayed with this deck are mathematically finite.
Unfortunately, I don't run this deck anymore.
