I just got this idea for a Cinco de Mayo-themed deck...the day after Cinco de Mayo. Anyway! Since the holiday's national colors are red, green, and white, and the featured number is five, that easily leans toward a Naya deck with power 5 and above as its theme. And no Naya legend better represents that theme than...
Mayael decks want two things: Lots of mana, and lots of big creatures, specifically with power 5 or greater. Since Mayael cheats creatures onto the battlefield, we want to focus more on ETB effects than casting triggers, though the mana support for the deck hopefully makes it so hard casting creatures isn't hard either. Like with any multicolor deck, color fixing is a must, and thankfully Mayael's central color is perfectly suited for the job.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Greetings, fellow Mayael player! I have to admit, that's a unique way to get ideas on a deck...and you're right, it fits perfectly. Kudos!
First off, you may want to drop Spellbreaker Behemoth. As you say, Mayael cheats creatures onto the field, so you likely won't be hardcasting enough to need that layer of protection.
Zhur-Taa Ancient may be another creature to drop. While it's great for ramp, you can find yourself helping your opponents more than yourself at times.
Given the amount of landcycling creatures you have, you may want to consider dropping some of the mana dorks and putting in more lands...or even more durable creatures.

Some suggestions that have been made to me and/or that I have in my own deck(feel free to look, of course):
Privileged Position
Void Winnower
Worldspine Wurm
Platinum Emperion
Either Prime Eldrazi, for more reliable GY recursion(Elixir is nice and all, but it can be easily dealt with)
Failing the above(they are expensive), try Gaea's Blessing for the recursion, though that comes with its own risks
Impromptu Raid
Illusionist's Bracers
That's some ideas to start with. Hope it helps in some fashion, and like I said; if you want to take a look at my own decklist, feel free!

Mayael's Aria is not really a good card, so you could replace it?
You could also try adding Mirari's Wake for more ramp
